This was a serendipitous encounter. We walked past Happy Appliances a few times and were hesitant…read moreto go in, as the store's exterior looked more commercially-oriented than for retail buyers and the online reviews were sparse. Don't let the exterior and lack of reviews fool you though, once you talk with them, you'll discover they really know their stuff and have some great deals. After further chatting, I also found out they do have a commercial sales team and real estate developers who buy 143 washers at a time don't write Yelp reviews. Happy Appliances has an incredibly-wide selection: from everyday names like Samsung to higher-end such as Miele and they can procure pretty much anything. John and his team worked hard to find specific models, such as a Bosch 800 series dishwasher, that we were searching for. From start-to-end, our team was very responsive to all follow-up questions via email and even with the pandemic supply chain issues, they tracked down and delivered all appliances within the quoted timeline and price--to a multi-floor walk-up nonetheless! Other retailers, such as Lowes, Home Depot, AJ Madison, and PC Richards were quoting 8-10 month backorder for some appliances. We got all of ours in three. Additionally, Happy Appliances (and its parent company: Happy Electronics) is an authorized vendor for all products we bought (did some independent research before purchasing), so warranty was never a worry. I feel like we discovered a hidden gem and we readily recommend them to our family and friends. As a matter-of-fact, I just went back to replace an old washer/dryer. Ask for John when you go. He's great and really down to earth.

Tim did the research on the top brand name appliances based on dimensions governing the tight gallery sized apartment kitchen. He offered me choices so I could compare and read the reviews. He was upfront about the delivery, installation and haul away costs. He was able to provide a Certificate of Insurance required by my building. Despite a glitch due to the building's aging plumbing, the delivery team was able to reschedule the installation of the dishwasher for a nominal extra fee. Everything fits in its proper place and is working. Very pleased with the selections. Tim is honest and provided great service along with reasonable pricing. I won't be dealing with big box appliance stores any more. Happy Appliances has won my business.

Mike knew what I was looking for and made it happen at a decent price. I always hated the pushy arrogant sales staff at other store's. Mike Greenfield and this PC Richards at Bayside 17 will always be my first choice.

They sell appliances, but then it's up to you to get it installed…read more They have a modest installation fee of $275 to check for fit, and install a $3,700 24-inch Kitchen-Aid double wall oven. That's two separate appointments. No one reads installation instructions. If the cabinet needs any modification, such as wood blocks to fit and support the brackets for one of the 80-pound wall ovens, they do not make those modifications, or they depend on the installer to do so if he wants to. The wood blocks will not be wide enough, so the bracket will only be attached with half the screws. The 80 lb second wall oven will be placed on the insufficient bracket before the face plate is attached so a hole is left between the ovens.\. The brackets will not be plumb so the face plate will not fit. Double stick tape will not hold it. No special equipment to carry the heavy ovens, so God help us all. Kitchen-Aid has no recommendations except Angies list... Do all people in Queens know how to install their wall ovens? Is this the Twilight Zone? PC Richard Boris can not understand why I am dissatisfied with their service or why I think I deserve a refund of my $275. Store manager Sarah does not answer me back. Mike Greenfield Kicked me to Customer Service who kicked me to the the Store manager Sarah and District Manager who is unnamed.

Wow, thank god for Mohammed because he provided excellent customer service to us. He guided us through the aisles and recommended us which products were better. Also, thanks to Tom for showing us how to use the Caulk Gun. We really do appreciate both of them. There was only one register opened as everything was self-checkout. I like to interact with a human being. When it was our turn, sales associate Susan asked about signing up for Home Depot's Pre-Approved credit card to get $50 off the purchase. Hey, that was such a great promo because I love to save money. Woohoo, I was Pre-Approved for Home Depot's credit card #score I also had a $3.38 balance on a Home Depot gift card then paid the difference with my new Home Depot credit card! Damn, I am really happy with today's visit!

It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience.
