After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews there for QAS, I called it. I had a very nice talk with the owner, "Jason," who, alas, does not service the West Chester area. However, Jason appears to be "old school" concerning customer service and earning "good will" and so offered some very good advice and gave me a referral for a long-established family appliance store near Trooper that I'm now speaking with about my buying a new double oven. So...sorry I could not get Jason over to WC to fix my Thermador BUT I will remember him if anyone I know in the Collegeville, Phoenixville, Norristown areas need a very nice and seemingly very experienced appliance repair service to call upon! We needed a new 30" wall oven. We paid for the store to come inspected the old oven and make sure…read morethe new Frigidaire oven would fit in the existing space. We paid $100 for the inspection, that would have been deducted the the price when we bought the oven. they told us the oven would fit fine. They delivered the oven and 1. we were told the we needed an electrician to separate breaker before he could install the oven 2. The electrician came and charge us $275 and said the breaker were fine 3. They came to install the oven agin and left a big space between the oven and the cook top . They said they would have a stainless piece made to fit the open space. 4. Four weeks late they came with what looked like a black piece of wood and I would not let them glue in it. 5. I complained to the store and they said they would call me with a solution. Still have not heard from them, They company Kitchen Solvers that remodeled out kitchen 20 years came and was able to re-position the oven correctly. I still have not heard from Allentown Appliance. Do not buy there.

Called the Appliance Guy because the ice maker in the refrigerator was sometimes making ice…read moresometimes not. Also, when you went to get ice thru the door we had to open & slam it to get the ice to dispense. Michael showed up as schedule and spent time diagnosing the problem. He found several possible reasons for the issues. His recommendation was to start with the most inexpensive fix first to see if that corrected the issue. So, he replaced the door switches. It worked! No more slamming the door to get ice! Just so you know the other solution was to replace the entire door which would have cost $1200. He suggestion to start with the most inexpensive solution first saved me $1000! Michael was knowledgeable about the product and potential issues and honest in his recommendations. Will not hesitate to use his service again for any appliance issues!

After he left I thought about his diagnosis. Thought it was wrong so I called LG they sent out a tech . He confirmed it was the compressor and replaced it under warranty . He spent more time trying to sell whirlpool than correctly diagnosing my issue
