However, Jason appears to be "old school" concerning customer service and earning "good will" and so offered some very good advice and gave me a referral for a long-established family appliance store near Trooper that I'm now speaking with about my buying a new double oven. Also, when you went to get ice thru the door we had to open & slam it to get the ice to dispense. Michael showed up as schedule and spent time diagnosing the problem. He found several possible reasons for the issues. His recommendation was to start with the most inexpensive fix first to see if that corrected the issue. So, he replaced the door switches. It worked! No more slamming the door to get ice! Just so you know the other solution was to replace the entire door which would have cost $1200. He suggestion to start with the most inexpensive solution first saved me $1000! Michael was knowledgeable about the product and potential issues and honest in his recommendations. Will not hesitate to use his service again for any appliance issues!

Eventually we got to their one Master technician, who repaired it perfectly in one visit. SteamOven: At this point, we are over $2,000 into repair costs, amost 2 years of time and still do not have a working combi steam Miehle oven. Before we realized they only have one Master tech, other techs came out multiple times, replacing $800 steam generator more than once. Not repaired. Once we had identified their one superior technician we entered a cycle where he would request a part be ordered, the wrong part was delivered, he would visit and we had the wrong part. Now we needed to try to get funds refunded so we could enter the next cycle and try to reorder the part again. In the fifth version of this we were treated to hearing the owner of the company call our valued tech and curse and swear at him, accusing him of all kinds of things... Believe me, this one tech is the only reason this company must ever get anything repaired! We have spoken to Patty, spoken to everyone who picks up the phone at Fast Appliance. He said there is nothing he could do. He never even took out a tool from his bag, never even checked the temperature of the fridge or the freezer. Did absolutely nothing except stand in my kitchen and lie to my face. Retailer trying to get another repair service approved. Nothing but pushback from Whirlpool, insisting that FAST appliance is the only factory authorized company. I agreed to FAST returning, but will not let the same technician set foot on my property. They were going to send their "master tech". Well, two weeks later, I get a call from the same previous tech saying he's on his way. Umm.... No, you're not. I saw the water but did not know where it came from, called David's to see where the water came from. He asked if I used the bleach dispenser, I said no, I do not put bleach in my washers. He tilted the washer front, said I see no signs of water - ok I guess I imagined the water, keeping in mind the water evaporated two days after I called and he came. So I decided I would use the washer again to see if it would leak so I did a small load of colored laundry. The washer started and stopped and the lid light came on, which meant the lid was released so I open it. All the clothes were fine nothing off balance. Pushed the start button again, so after 5 to 6 tries, I unplugged the washer or otherwise the red light would stay on - he was coming to look at it anyway. So I took all the wet wash out of the washer and let it drip dry in my work shop. I have a floor drain there. When he came he asked why my washer was unplugged and I told him. He said "I don't know what you did". I said I put soap in, my clothes, turned on the water, and pressed the start button and it kept stopping. I said what would you have done? He said let me see the laundry you put in. I showed him where I had it drying -- didn't know what to say. The next he said I didn't have enough wash in it. Don't believe that. Then he said he can't come out here all the time because OLDER PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THESE WASHERS. Insult! I never received any type of manual. After 35 to 40 years of being a loyal customer of David's Electric I will never go there again or buy anything there again. I was use to dealing with his grandmother. She knew how to treat her patrons. Then he said he was going to be nice to me and not charge me a service call. News flash - I just bought the piece of junk and told him to get out of my house. And I will never call him again (which is what they want). I have been laundry a long time and I think I know how to do laundry and start a washing machine. If Senior Citizens annoy you so much, don't sell the stuff to us. But you insulted the wrong person with me.
