I signed up for the 6 week 20lb challenge. So basically you're suppose to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks and they give you a whole diet plan and weight loss strategy guide to follow. I'll be honest it isn't easy and takes a lot of change but I was determined and dedicated. You can go to as many classes as you like a week they have 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM Monday thru Thursday and am classes Friday and Saturday. It's a lot of HIIT training and different types of workouts with one trainer. Each class is about an hour long and they recommend at least 5 classes a week. I loved all the trainers I worked with they kept me motivated and feeling inspired. I worked my butt off and was able to lose 22lbs in 6 weeks which is amazing. I feel like a whole new person and I decided to do another challenge so I can get to my goal weight. As I said before it isn't east and takes a lot of work and determination. I am truly grateful for everyone at The Camp trainers and staff . They are all amazing people. If you are looking to lose weight and improve your overall health this is the place to do it !!! Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't align with those classes, which ultimately led me to leave. The class that worked best with my schedule was led by a coach who seemed more focused on socializing than coaching. It was honestly frustrating to experience. Many classes started late because of this, and there was a lot of gossip during workouts. On top of that, the coaching itself often felt unorganized, and at times it seemed like they didn't fully know what they were doing. When I first signed up, I was sold on the idea that this gym was a one-stop place for fitness and health, including nutritional guidance and recipes. However, when I asked about nutrition support, I was brushed off and never received the help that was advertised. I do think this gym has potential, but it really needs more consistent, professional, and knowledgeable coaches to make it a better experience overall.

There are several people he is down right degrading to in an open public forum. This does not promote "well being" . My journey there ended when we had a difference in opinion and he basically pushed me into quitting while taking his hand out for the $250.00 buy out fee to cancel my contract. When I sent him a message he didn't even respond. as much as it saddened me to leave the network of support there it was the best mental decision I made. Saddest part is when ex Hyperion people do negative reviews they won't post their names like me due to the fact of the harassment they would get from Mr Selvian. I continue to get calls from people who tell me because they "liked a post of mine" Eric will call or text them and inquire why their friends with me. Eric get a clue. The people of Hyperion are not "your property" comments made to my friends such as "I'm glad Tina didn't make he weight loss goal" are not only unprofessional but so immature it's embarrassing! You have created such an amazing thing please focus on that instead of those of us who have chosen to leave.

Despite my ongoing health issues and an emergency trip to care for my sick daughter, Bri failed to show any understanding or flexibility. Instead of accommodating my situation, she provided me with a package of 24 classes, which felt more like a charity gesture rather than a genuine effort to meet my needs. I was charged $179 per month, and it took me months to realize the extent of these charges while I was unable to attend due to my illness. When I confronted her about the charges, she offered the 24-class package as a "courtesy," but I had already expressed that I wasn't ready to return. I expected her to show some compassion and provide flexibility, considering my circumstances. After attending only five classes, I found out that my membership had expired, leaving me extremely disappointed and angry. The lack of support and understanding for those with disabilities is unacceptable, and I feel that my concerns were not taken seriously. I am contemplating legal action due to the mishandling of my situation. I cannot recommend this studio to anyone who needs empathy and support in their fitness journey.
