So I decided I wanted to make a change in my health, weight and lifestyle and heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to check it out. I signed up for the 6 week 20lb challenge. So basically you're suppose to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks and they give you a whole diet plan and weight loss strategy guide to follow. I'll be honest it isn't easy and takes a lot of change but I was determined and dedicated. You can go to as many classes as you like a week they have 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM Monday thru Thursday and am classes Friday and Saturday. It's a lot of HIIT training and different types of workouts with one trainer. Each class is about an hour long and they recommend at least 5 classes a week. I loved all the trainers I worked with they kept me motivated and feeling inspired. I worked my butt off and was able to lose 22lbs in 6 weeks which is amazing. I feel like a whole new person and I decided to do another challenge so I can get to my goal weight. As I said before it isn't east and takes a lot of work and determination. I am truly grateful for everyone at The Camp trainers and staff . They are all amazing people. If you are looking to lose weight and improve your overall health this is the place to do it !!! Spain is my favorite, he's very good with positive affirmations and it makes me work harder. Alexis's work outs are the hardest. He pushes you to be your best and doesn't take no for an answer. He makes sure you are doing all of the movements right. He has good energy. I like how Bobby has fun relay races at the end. I've lost 10 pounds in 8 weeks and added a lot of muscle. I felt disgusting 8 weeks ago. I am feeling much better now. I'm not good at working out by myself and don't know what to do. read more

The camp has helped me a lot in terms of nutrition and workouts. The trainors are great! The workouts are really good. Keeps you moving for at least an hour. I like the camp better now coz you have to book through the mind and body app. It's not crowded anymore like pre-covid. I like the limiter capacity. In my opinion, it's just so much better now because of covid. There's disinfecting spray and wipes. The social distancing works great especially you need space to move. The camp transformation was a great experience for my wife and I. I was Able to lose 30.1 pounds in 6 weeks and I feel great and healthy. At the beginning it was a little bit hard to get use to the diet but once you make it a routine it becomes easier and its definitely worth it because now I feel with more energy at work. I love the Camp Transformation Center- Simi Valley and all the trainers. I'm so happy I decided to do the 6 week challenge. I completed the 20 pounds in 42 days challenge and lost 22.6 pounds! I lost 8% body fat! I feel so much better about myself and have more energy. The Camp Transformation Center has really good trainers that want you to succeed. They push you and offer suggestions through the journey. At first it was a little hard to adjust to the diet cause I was so used to eating everything but once I did I started to see results. There were weeks that I lost 2 pounds and other weeks I would lose 5 pounds. I feel in order to lose the 20 pounds you need to be committed and follow the plan they give you. I attended 5 classes a week and did cardio at least 4 times a week and I felt that this really helped me lose the weight. As long as you FTDI you will see results. Even with Covid-19 the Camp Transformation Center always made me feel safe. The staff clean the free weights in between classes, require you to wear a mask, and keep you at least 6 feet apart. Had cancelled and got a confirmation email yet kept being charged so i went in person and spoke with them and was told they can't do anything about it even spoke with the location owner and same response and continue to charge every month and now they are trying to tack on who knows what so i'm seeing charges for over 400 dollars. I have taken Ricky and James classes, (since I can only make it to the 9am class, cause of work) but if you really want to get in shape, come to THEIR classes!!! They are both energetic, knowledgeable, friendly and definitely are the main reason why I like to come to class. Plus, they both have brought my motivation back! 2. The workout routine is ALWAYS different and definitely keeps me on my toes! You never know what crazy HIIT workout the trainers have planned for you, but they break it down very easy and modify it if needed. 3. The people attending the classes are always nice and if we get partnered up, they're always there to motivate you! 4. The music the trainers play is a big factor, because when you workout alone and plug your headphones, you want upbeat music! At the camp, it ranges from anything that is on the trainers playlist, but definitely has you moving! 5. The front desk are absolutely the NICEST people I have ever met and so caring! I have passed by the camp for a couple years and was always so curious! I always wanted to get more information on the 6 week challenge. Well I finally joined and I hate that I didn't do it sooner. Working out has always been so hard for me.. I've done literally everything .. zumba, water aerobics, YouTube videos, but nothing ever like this! I finally enjoy working out and it has become like an escape for me from the real world when I'm in the zone. The workouts are not easy and the meal plan isn't either. If it was easy everyone would do it. I'm not looking at this program as a quick fix, because for me it's a lifestyle change. The trainers are AAaaamazing!!! The staff are always so nice and accommodating. They have also made me feel safe during this pandemic with the procedures and protocols they follow to make sure that we all stay safe and healthy! I love this place! Going to class each day has become the highlight of my day. I'm in the final week of the 6 week challenge and although it's been hard I'm so proud of how far I've come. I'm waking up with the sun to get a workout in before work- which is something I never thought I'd do. The trainers here are the best! They push you to your limits and mix up workouts- no two classes have ever been the same so it never gets boring. The rest of the staff has been friendly and approachable. The only pit in my experience thus far has been within the Facebook 6 week challenge secret group - it's a source for guidance and support from fellow challengers past and present . A camp owner (NOT FROM THE SIMI LOCATION) lacks tact when responding to questions/concerns that are posted and they respond frequently which makes it intimidating to post questions/concerns you may have about the challenge. Overall I would recommend The Camp Simi Valley to anyone ready to make a change. The challenge is just that- challenging- it's not easy it's going to be an emotional and physical journey. The challenge was explained so I could understand it. Nothing was hidden. No pressure to join. I followed what was asked and my results were right on target. The concept is great and it works..... if you work it. Getting up in the morning was tough, I like my sleep but, I love my results. The 5 am workout daily made all the difference for me. The room progressively got more packed as the challenge went on. It was super motivating getting on the scale every Monday. At the end of my challenge, I weighed out and not only hit the 20 lbs but met my goal weight!! I pick up my deposit at the end of the month. The only thing is..... The first time I went in, I was genuinely terrified what I got myself into. My work schedule did not work with the times, I'm working two jobs and I just found it impossible. I signed up late as well. I contacted management and they allowed me to put my money towards the next challenge since I seemed overwhelmed with all the changes. By the time the challenge rolled around, I was more mentally prepared for this change. I cut hours on my second job and started looking up recipes. I bought my scale and a lot of Tupperware lol. Well I started with a better attitude. I was so sore, I thought wow I could never do doubles. Guess what i love doing doubles now! The work out regime they have changes, keeps your body surprised. The encouragement I received from the staff was unlike anything I ever experienced. Ricky the trainer pushes you to your limits!!! The front desk Omar, Bailey and Alex, all greet you by name, support you and encourage you! I know Omar even volunteered to work out with those less motivated, that's so sweet. Alex knew I ordered meals from a company and they didn't show, she offered to make me some food so I don't starve at work. That to me means more than anything, amazing customer service. They treated me like family!! The diet/meals were not a big deal for me, what we are allowed to eat is my favorite food. I found it most challenging to eat every 2.5-3 hours at work (I'm a nurse and sometimes you can't get away to eat or even have water). I bought the protein bars that saved my life, which are so good and saved me at work (unfortunately still sold out! Buy them as soon as you see them people)!! I still managed to eat as much as often as possible. Personally I like the protein shakes even though I was against them in the beginning, with coffee I loved them! Again, when I'm working, it saves time and I can take the blender cup with me to the nurses station. Diet is everything, remember that. What can I say about this place? It's amazing. It changed my perspective on working out and meal prepping. Never in my life did I think I'd meal prep, go to the gym multiple times (even my own gym for cardio)! I found myself thinking about working out constantly! This place does wonders for people. I'm not into the gimmick of losing weight fast or solving problems fast because that's temporary. This prepares you for life forever. It allows you to always be on track and continue working out for you, your health and happiness. I've never been happier. Oh this is the place where I found myself back after a couple of pregnancies. Love this place to the core. After 2 deliveries back to back I put on so much weight and with breastfeeding my babies I did not find a way to diet and no time for exercises. Infact, all my time was around my kids. After seeing results from my colleague who lost all her pregnancy weight I joined this place 10 weeks back and now here I am with 34lbs down. Successfully completed one challenge and gearing up for the next one in a week. I thought I would not be able to finish my 1st challenge and thought to quit after 4 weeks.
