I also received a $25 off if I would like to preserve my dress and veil. It was about $300. They ship it out and a company that they work with does it all and ships it back to them so you can pick it up when it is ready. It takes about 1-2. She helped not only with picking out dresses (and she was spot on with choices) but also let me look through and pick all the ones I wanted to try as well. We walked in without an appointment and luckily someone canceled so we were helped. I got to try on a few dresses but none of them worked out. They were all for really tall people. I am not tall... and I know a few brides who have told me they spent more on alterations then the dress because of how much needs to be cut... Overall, it was a pleasant experience. This is a simple boutique with just enough options to not make you feel overwhelmed. My sister had her mind set on the designer of her dress (Maggie Sottero) she made an appointment so she could try on various options from the brand. The gal who helped her out was nice , suggestive and knew her stuff! So it was a breeze to say the least. She ended up finding her perfect dress and ordered it on a RUSH since the wedding is in October. We were afraid we wouldn't get it on time but they pulled some strings and she will get it in by September 17th. Sweet! If you are a bride-to -be on a budget this boutique is worth checking out. I've been shopping around for my wedding dress a few weeks now. All the stores I've gone too, including David's bridal, have been excellent. This is the first store that I went to and left without trying a dress on. I made an appointment by phone and the woman who helped me was extremely helpful and courteous. I was very excited for my appointment. Myself and MOH went to the appointment at 4:30. The bad energy was immediate. I was helped my a blonde lady, medium set with a slight foreign accent. She asked what I was going for and if I had pictures. I showed her pictures of dresses I've tried on and gave her exact names of the styles I wanted (trumpet and mermaid). Everything I said, she had something to say against it. Again, never have I experienced this type of customer service at a bridal boutique. Everyone has been accommodating and tries to give me suggestions that will compliment my figure. I'm curvy with wide hips. Then she made reference that there floor dresses were very "small." I was wanting to try on crepe fabric and she mentioned that even "size 4 girls" didn't want to use that fabric. When she walked away, my MOH and I made the decision to walk off without trying any dresses on. I refuse to provide them with my business. Bottom line, there's tons of bridal boutique that will provide better customer service than this place. Take your money somewhere else. read more

This was the first bridal salon I visited while trying to find the perfect dress for my Yosemite elopement wedding! I was the first appointment of the day, and I felt that the woman with a heavy accent was knowledgeable and understood the dresses I liked as I began looking at her wedding dress options. I cannot remember her name, but the darker-skinned young girl helped me with zipping each dress and helping me pick my favorites as we went on. We came to this store on a whim after passing by it. We had been to several stores in Fresno and hadn't quite found the "one". We walked in without an appointment and just asked if we could look around. Their whole front section of dresses were under $1000 which was perfect for my budget. I found a dress in this section and Brandy was more than happy to have me try it on in their small front dressing room. It was beautiful and we ended up buying it. I made an appointment the day before and went in not expecting to find anything. Staff was very lovely and inviting, I tried on over 7 dresses in my appointment and actually fell in love with one. I made another appointment for the next day to try the dress on again. After trying the dress on a second time I decided it was my dress. The staff here were not at all pushy or trying to make you buy. I also felt very comfortable, I am a medium sized gal (size 14 dress) and not once did i feel like the dresses on the floor were too small. I would recommend this shop! read more

Only reason I'm giving two stars is because we were allowed to bring champagne which was well needed to get through the experience. I made an appointment for my best friend and now I know better to not go back when it's my turn to find a dress. Our appointment was Saturday 3/16/19 at 2:30. We showed up few minutes before and they were running late which was okay. Once we got situated, the space was very crammed making the experience not as enjoyable since we had previously shopped at Premier Bride's Perfect Dress with a nice open layout. Once my best friend was in the fitting room it took her forever to get out of the dressing room because the consultant was running back and forth between two girls. Considering we made an appointment and this place is appointment only, that was very frustrating. My friend had to peep her head out asking for help then waiting for it. Once she had finally tried on the same dress she fell in love with the day before at Premier Bride's the consultant had just came running back from the other bride and said "Oh no this is not the one, I'm not going to bother clipping you up" and continues to run back with the other bride. Towards the end I went back to the dressing room with her to help her out since her consultant was still in the front of the store with the other bride. For these reasons, I never want to go back here ever again and will never recommend this place to any of my loved ones. Worse customer service EVER! I called to make an appointment for my niece 4 days prior to today's visit. The lady I talked to said they didn't have an appointment until March 7. I let her know that would be fine because we would be visiting other shops. When I mentioned other shops she let me know it would be perfectly ok to stop by on Saturday (today) and look at dresses. She let me know it would be best to come by around 2:30pm when things slowed down a bit but she couldn't promise us a dressing room. Mind you this was after I mentioned we would be visiting other shops. I was fine with just looking around so I let her know we would stop by and look at their dresses. Saturday came around and after visiting other boutiques in Fresno we decided we had enough time to visit Elegant Bride. We knew there would be a chance my niece wouldn't be able to try anything on but we just wanted to look anyways. When we walked into the shop the tall lady asked if she could help us. I let her know we were just looking and she said, "we will be closing in 30 minutes and the dressing rooms are full so we won't be able to help you today." Strike one! I let her know we were just looking around because we had an appointment for March 7. No smile and making us feel unwelcomed, she walked away. This store is split in half and apparently one half of the store is off limits. While my niece was looking at dresses on one side of the store the tall brown haired lady rudely told my niece and her friends that they need to stay on the other side of the store because the dresses on that side were discontinued. She said it in a way that again made us feel very unwelcomed. Strike 2! Soon after this she yelled (loud unprofessional voice) out "what's your budget?" Strike 3! Who does that?! Who conducts business in this way?! It's no ones business (all other customers in the store) what her budget was. This lady was RUDE! I get it, it was 30 minutes until the store closed. You must have more than enough customers that one more doesn't matter. Looking for a dress is one of the most important things for a bride and this employee made it a very disappointing experience. We all decided to leave at this point and I cancelled the March 7th appointment. I will NEVER go back to this store again and rest assured I will let everyone know about the poor customer service. I should've read the reviews before we entered this "business". The lady tall lady with brown hair must be a relative because even after all of the reviews, she is still working there. Don't tell your customers it's ok to stop by and look then make them feel unwelomed. Based the the reviews I'm glad we didn't purchase anything. read more

This was a weird experience. I walked in one day without an appointment and it was like no one was there. I looked around and waited for a while until a lady came and told me you need an appointment and that I should go to other places first before coming here because they have the best deals and alteraltions prices. Ok. Weird. I felt like she was just dismissing me. I was not planning to go back. I thought that was rude. Anyway, I went to a few other places. All of whom had beautiful dresses, but when they gave me the alteration price, my jaw dropped. I am not going to pay nearly as much for alterations as I did the dress. My mom told me to just do it or buy another dress that fits my body better, but I wanted that dress. I was stubborn. Anyway, I decided to make an appointment at Elegant Bride. The lady appearantly had no recollection of me, because I was greeted totally different when I came in the second time. I told them what dress I wanted and they had it on display, but it was not my size. When I asked how much it would be to alter it if I ordered it, the price was much lower. This was appearently because I had made my decision on my first appointment, which made no sense, but I decided to get it there anyway. The alterations were very good, and the service, although a little too know it all, was too, but only after I made an appointment, which threw me off. I purchased my dress from this location, the appointment getting my dress was great until after. They have called saying that I need to pick up my dress or it becomes their property even though they said it'll be fine to stay there. They also don't even bother cleaning the dresses and leave it dirty. At least with David's bridal they offer to clean the dress for you if you purchase it off the floor due to not being able to be order it. read more

Hands down the WORST experience ever for my best friend!!! 0 STARS! Would not let us take ANY photos for our other bridesmaids who couldn't be there with us. Refused to let her try on more then 3 dresses even though we made an appointment ahead of time. Was rude and disrespectful because my friend didn't know exactly her dress size was. I'm sorry, but who just know what they wear in a wedding dress. She would not let it go. Also, refused to allow us to even look at bridesmaid dresses because "we don't have time for that." My mom and I had a great experience at Elegant Bride. The dressing rooms were nice and spacious, mirror in the room and more mirrors in the main area with natural lighting. Alena was great throughout the entire process. She made suggestions, listened to my concerns/likes/dislikes, assisted with fitting and clipping the dresses to make sure it fit correctly. I had the assumption that a boutique would be more expensive then a David's Bridal and I wouldn't be able to find anything, but the boutique had so many dresses that I genuinely liked within a decent price range so it was tough to make a decision. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was no option to order any dresses, so you had to go with what was in stock and hope it fit you (or get it altered) if you really liked it. I would suggest going to any other bridal boutique before this one. I don't think you'll have a good time here unless you're a tiny person. This is all from a perspective of a midsize person - So going in the first thing was that she wasn't wearing a mask. And she wasn't the entire time that we were in there. After telling her what I liked she asked what size I was and completely disregarded what I told her and tried to tell me I was 6 sizes up from my actual size!!!! She proceeded to put me in dresses that didn't fit me. Every time I tried on a dress she would only point out what didn't flatter me. Didn't make any suggestions to what would be flattering on me. After trying on a few I wanted to just browse their selection. Any time I would browse dresses that were not my size (according to her) she would tell me those won't fit me and they don't carry my size in it. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and the employee was actually the person who picked the dress that ended up being MY dress! Alterations were fine quality and inexpensive. Today, my little sister went there to pick out HER wedding dress! We had been shopping all day, and the third dress at Elegant Bride ended up being her dress! I was a little nervous about this place because of the reviews, but tried it anyway since one of my friends had purchased a dress here and loved it. First, they were very blunt with me about my situation. I had come to find a dress only three months before my wedding. I felt bad at first, but really it was motivation that I needed. At the time they were offering a deal: find a dress and buy it in the same day and you get free alterations... hard to pass up! Sylva helped me find my dresses. I had brought some pictures for her to see what my taste was and she had no trouble at all finding dresses that fit my taste. She did try to get me to step out of my comfort zone, but I appreciate it because I discovered things I actually liked! I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had too because I think the existing reviews on here are unfair. Don't expect to get babied here, but they definitely warm up to you and it ends up being a great experience.
