While the pebble flooring we selected is a tad disappointing, (one of the tiles is a much lighter color than the rest and the sealer finish is flat not shiny), the overall experience was good. I told Mehran after the demolition crew left that they had caused a bit of damage (scratches and spill spots on our natural stone bathroom floor). Mehran immediately contacted his crews who began laying a protective covering on the floor. Be prepared to pay someone else to do any drywall/paint repair that may result. Disregarding these few flaws, his crew was very nice and respectful of my requests, often asking me how I wanted certain things to be done. it is all-in-all a very good job. Our kitchen needed to be torn up due to a leak and mold issue. After a different remodeler sat on our design brief for a month with no progress, we were referred to Renaissance Kitchen. What a night-and-day difference: Mehran received our initial brief, asked some guiding questions, and returned with a mockup of the kitchen's new design within two business days. Mehran was incredibly patient and personable with each step of the process. Mehran also took the time to accompany us to certain locations when viewing samples so that he could provide his wisdom. Renaissance recently completed a home renovation project for us in Huntington Beach. The home is a rental that had gotten out of control and needed to be completely gutted. Mehran had a crew of every type of trade we needed and they were all very skilled. We needed a new kitchen, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, added an island, removed a wall to open the kitchen to the living room, remodeled 2 bathrooms, scraped popcorn off the ceilings, painted the entire interior and replaced the baseboards, refaced the fireplace with stacked stone, added recessed lighting in every room, and installed wood laminate flooring throughout. Mehran made many trips to the city building department to get permits and spent hours and hours meeting with inspectors. He also made several trips with me to pick out materials and was always patient. The home looks beautiful and like a completely different house. We have done a couple of remodeling projects at our place from outside to inside and this is the first time I would give a 5 star review for such an amazing experience and product. Mehran the owner helped from the start to finish. Every step was with his patient guidance and recommendations to good products/services. I changed my mind more than 10 times at the designing stage and he would still have every possible design for me to consider even when I was still picky about it. Besides, his crew is professional and friendly, who would explain and point out things that we should know and be aware of before and after different part of the process is completed. It took 2 months to remodel this bathroom, it was not a simply job, however it didn't help with the progress when the plumber kept changing schedules. However, the final result is great! We are very happy with the final look mainly thinks to the tiler. He did a fantastic job, grouting is perfectly done and all the tiles are lined up perfectly! We picked grey marble, and every piece is unique, some have darker colors than others. He laid all the tiles out and arranged them before he started tiling, making sure the color transition is smooth. His contribution to the final look is significant! read more

No matter how much care one takes, a home is made to be lived in and accidents will happen. In our case, we cracked a porcelain tile on the floor, knocked a molding loose on the island, and unaligned our kitchen drawers. Mehran had told us that these things would happen and advised that we keep any leftover title in order to deal with these sorts of situations. Neither I nor my girlfriend know a thing about repairing anything so that left us with having to call Renaissance Kitchen and Bath for help. My girlfriend called Mehran to tell him of the repairs we needed Mehran said he would have someone come out. He also ordered some extra floor titles for us to make sure that we had extra for future use since we only had one piece left over when the original work was done. My wife and I took the plunge to purchase a home for our family and it we thought the home was in great shape until we took a closer look. Turns out we needed a kitchen remodel among other things. Like any responsible new home owner I went to a few contractors that gave me quotes and options. I was never sure about any of them, until I met Mehran at Renaissance Kitchen, bath & flooring. Immediately I could tell that this is a person with the highest integrity that was looking to help more than he was looking to capitalize on my need for a kitchen upgrade. He gave me the absolute best timeline I received from any of his competitors, pricing was very fair and he told me that when he works on a kitchen, he will treat it as though it is his own. He was truthful and did just that! I had about 6 weeks to move from my current residence to the new one so the window was tight. As soon as I received the keys, Mehran started working. I am not active on social media and only felt compelled to leave a review to ensure that other people do not experience a similar headache. The prior review was removed because we made it clear we were writing under a friend's account, which yelp likes to see reviews about people's personal experiences. I could post a side by side picture of the markup and the changed contract if you would like. My mistake was believing that you were trustworthy.  The drain was swapped out because there was a lack of communication between the different trades, which is likely a management issue. The roughs did not match the final trim, and the concrete was already poured. You didn't want to make it right because you thought it would cost too much money caused by your lack of communication. A simple way to avoid negative reviews is to follow through on your promises, be forthcoming in your mistakes, and try to make things right. We have spent thousands of dollars fixing mistakes caused by your business and were disappointed in your response.  A simple apology and how can I make things right goes a long way (instead of attacking your customers and making snarky or sarcastic remarks). read more

This update has been a long time coming. This is just a testament to how much Mehran and his guys stand behind their work. So the steps on the stairs kept cracking. Three times total... The first time, Mehran got a replacement piece and sent his crew out to fix it for us - no cost. The second time, he ordered the piece again and when the part came in, it turns out they stopped selling the exact part we used for our house. So he contacted the manufacturer directly and found that they discontinued the specific part we needed. While trying to locate the part for the broken step, another one cracked (number 3)! At this point, Mehran was sure that it was a manufacture issue and ensured he would find a solution. After much talk and negotiation with the manufacturer, he was able to have all the stair noses replaced with the new product in the exact color we initially used. In addition, because he stands behind his work, he had his team fix our entire staircase without additional cost to us - two years after our initial renovation. I love their team and love Mehran for always taking care of us (even years later)! I always hear of companies trying to rip you off, but they do a great job and clearly stand behind their work years later! If we ever need anything done, they are my go to guys! read more
