Absolute worst acrylic set I have ever had and it took her three full hours. She spent twenty minutes trying to glue the tips on, which is when I should have walked out. You can see in the pics that my cuticles have been thoroughly destroyed. She made me bleed multiple times. The acrylic was horrendously thick. I did not have time to get them redone so had to go to a New Year's Eve party with my nails looking terrible. read more

Their name matches the elegance of the service. Recently remodeled, Elegant Nails is bright and airy, featuring white marble floors and sparkling lights in glass chandeliers. I've received excellent service twice in the last six months. Both times I chose the classic pedicure, which is $37. Salon is old, dirty and gross when I arrived first time. When I called, they had availability mid day during the week. It was empty minus one other person but the nail tech, who started taking off my gel nails, was on her phone the whole time over speaker talking with her family. She couldn't get off & so you're forced to listen to them yell at each other over the speaker cell phone. Loud. She then sent me to the pedicure bowl where the water first wasn't working then it was totally freezing water still with her cell phone on the speaker the whole time yelling with family. I had to ask her to get off her cell phone to try to warm up the freezing water. I finally just got up off the chair & walked out of the salon told them they were awful. The other midd aged male nail tech was sitting on his phone whole time slumped over playing video games with his bright sports car parked out front - fake wealth. Place is totally sketch, staff are rude & they don't care about their clients. Go elsewhere! read more

I walked into the nail salon around 4:20pm on a Saturday to get the SNS dip removed from my nails and get an acrylic overlay. When I walked in I was greeted by a nice older lady and informed her of the services needed. She told me it could be done and told me to be seated. The female she was speaking to checked her watch as if they were about to close but the door says they close at 6:30pm. She sat down to do my nails but gave me vibes that she didn't want to. I wanted to leave but bc I had plans that evening I needed them done. She was extremely rough and moving really fast. After she finished the nice older lady polished them. My nails itself were thick and not shaped correctly but the color/polishing was great. Please don't waste your time and money... go elsewhere. read more

Go see Jenny (she also goes by Kim) and get an SNS manicure. I'd had one previously done at a competing salon and came here with my aunt when it was time to refresh. Jenny took her time and payed close attention to detail. It has been two weeks since my manicure and my nails are strong and healthy and, besides the regrowth, my nails look great and my manicure is in tact. The prices here are better than most salons in the area and Jenny is really nice and good at what she does. Can't wait to go back for another SNS manicure! read more

I came in first thing on a Sunday morning and was immediately impressed by the friendly prompt service. I don't know what they are like during a busy time, but everyone who came in after me was also helped right away. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was excellent. I had just gotten one 10 days before that was rather crappy, so I was even more thankful for the technician's thoroughness. She was meticulous with my cuticles and calluses. I have gone to Elegant nails for a few years. I keep returning for several reasons. - Many other salons reek of chemicals. This one does not. - Pedicures last for weeks! - I have had sloppy pedicures in other salons where my toes have been gouged with tools, resulting in nicks and sore toes, never here - I have never had to wait longer than five minutes as a walk-in - Staff is pleasant and professional, and the prices are VERY competitive I have never had a bad experience here. So I'm giving them 2 stars because they were friendly and the salon was nice. My friend and I both had mani/pedis and were very disappointed with the results. For the pricing, which is on the higher side, it was not worth it. He kept pulling my leg and I had to make him do it over because he couldn't remove all the previous nail polish off my feet. I pass by this salon everyday after work. I thought to give them a try so after work on a Monday afternoon I decided to check them out. I usually get gel polish but I wanted to take a break from gel and let my nails breathe so I decided to get a regular French manicure. When I walked in I told the young lady what I wanted and she kept insisting I get gel. When I told her that I wanted just a regular manicure she rolled her eyes and got an attitude with me. I Already had nail polish on my nails however it was chipping so I just asked her for a polish change. There were three other people who worked there in the shop and only one of them had a client. The young lady said something in her language to the other employees and they started to laugh and gave me this rude look I was very uncomfortable the whole time. She didn't say one word to me I didn't feel rushed necessarily however she definitely seemed like she wanted to be done with me. After my nails dried I went to check out and the lady who did my nails didn't even acknowledge me mind you there is only one other client in the salon. So needless to say my experience here was disappointing and frustrating and I will not be returning. read more

I've been here many times over the years, generally because of the convenient location and because it seems clean. Despite being a 'regular' for years and even having my bridal party get their nails done there, I always feel like my nails are done below standards. I generally end up being cut at some point throughout the process as well, one time my nail was ground so thing that the MIDDLE of my nail bled. This past time when I was back in the area visiting my mom we went to get our nails done here. Everyone immediately recognized me and was very friendly, yet I got a new nail tech...what do you know, 2 of my fingers ended up bleeding...awesome. The man insisted I get gel polish despite the time crunch I made him aware of (he said they'd be faster). It took 25 minutes longer than he said, and he got the polish on my cuticles which means there are now ridges at the back of my nails that catch on everything - hair, cloths, etc. I REALLY wish this place did a better job... The ambiance is nice; however, the pedicure chairs are really starting to show their age and have holes in them. read more

I've been going to Elegant Nail Spa for quite some time- I go almost every week for nails and pedicures and was happy with the service and the staff, however the other day, the owner told me that he was not fixing my broken nails because someone at a different salon had filled them in. The irony was it was one of the old owners who I ran into while shopping, My nails were broken and I needed to have them fix so I got her to fix them for me! I came back into Elegant nails for fixing ( before the start of school) and a pedicure and was told that because I was not loyal that Tony ( the owner) would not fix my nails ! I was upset because I had been going there for quite some time and established a bond with all the technicians there! To make as long story short, I will miss going there but CUSTOMER SERVICE is the key...not your personal feeling- apparently the new owner needs to grow up and get a clue read more
