Went here for a pedicure I explain to the lady that my left thumbnail was acrylic and if she could please fill it when I mentioned that she didn't feel it and then there was a big bump on it she got upset and said why didn't you tell me before I was finished . I said why would you leave my now with the big gap in a bump instead of leaving it smooth and I don't like that my right thumb has a big gap in the white polish do not go here waste of $48 bad lighting in there I don't know if they can't see but don't go here you will not be happy read more

I scheduled a same-day appointment for 5p. I only waited for 10 minutes, which gave me time to choose my color and design. The owner, Quinn, is very sweet and caring. She took her time doing my acrylics and my spa pedicure. If I had an issue with anything, she fixed it right away. Saturday evening is a good time to go because they're not busy, so they can take their time. I witnessed every walk-in being helped within 10 minutes of wait time also. I was shopping at Tucson Mall and in need of a manicure and pedicure. I had some time before my next appointment so I stopped in and to my pleasant surprise there were no customers. I informed the technician I needed to be done in an hour and asked if that was possible. She assured me the request could be done within my time limits. I ended up being being at the salon for 1.5 hours and barely made my appointment. Since the technician barely spoke to me I assume she did not understand my request or was just trying to get business. If she didn't understand, I would have appreciated her saying so. And, if she was trying to get the business she should understand it won't be repeat business because the customer will be upset about being late to their next appointment and about the technician not being honest. My next complaint is they don't have much of a selection of colors for the nail dip. What they had isn't up to date. I also left with two red dots on my pink nails. I'm guessing this happened from the technician dripping clear coat on the powder. When I brought it to her attention she buffed it but didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I would have asked her to start over but I was already running late. Lastly, the nail on the pointer finger on my right hand is filed horribly. I will not be returning to this salon, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The only was positive is that it was clean, though a bit plain and outdated. It's not a place to be pampered. *Within a week my nails are very dull and one week four days later, polish is chipped.*Within 2 wks, more chips and feels are though polish is separating fm nail. read more

I got my nails done by the owner of the shop (female) and she did my nails terrible they were not the same shape some were put on crooked. When I asked them to fix my nails the husband said they would reshape them but will not do them over. I came here today because the other nail places I go to are closed on Sundays. There were only 3 people working and they were pretty busy. I had to wait about 5 minutes to start soaking my feet for a pedicure while I waited for someone to finish up. Once done with my pedicure which wasn't that great I had to wait 30 minutes for my manicure while they did someone's pedicure because she had an appointment. If I knew I'd be waiting around I would have gone somewhere else because I have a newborn baby at home who is breastfeeding so I didn't have much time to be away from home. Tried this nail salon in a pinch when I was over in the mall area. The gal that gave me my pedicure was very sweet, and she did a solid job. That said, the salon is sort of run down, the chairs outdated and it did not look very 'clean' in there. I normally do my own nails so I'm a little picky when it comes to shops. The place was SUPER small and staffed with about 4 technicians. They didn't turn anyone away even though they were clearly busy. They guy who did my toes told a customer he'd be with her in 5 when he hadn't even started my French tip. So let's say my pedi was rushed. They charge extra for salt scrub. My feet still had a rough spot and they weren't even that bad to begin with. The line on my French tip wasn't crisp. They played E news on the tv so that was nice. I paid $29 for a 10 min pedi and crooked white French tip. read more

This is a very reasonably priced place for mani's, pedi's and waxing . I go there for pedi's. I love the massage chairs and soaking my feet in the hot water tubs. I think it's a family run business -- the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tried this place for the first time today I recently had a baby and have not been able to get my nails done in over eight months since she's been born. I asked if they would do it while I held her and he said he would do his best and they turned out amazing! Even with my 8 month old who I had facing the opposite direction jumping around and making me move a lot , he still managed to do an awesome job! This salon was really unexpectedly good. I had to kill time while getting an installation done on my car, so I figured a pedicure would work. They were extremely thorough while cleaning up my nails, and the accompanying foot and leg massage was more than just lightly touching my legs for 30 seconds. He massaged each leg for probably 5 minutes each, and it felt amazing on my sore muscles. The staff were pleasant and prompt and I had no wait to get seen as a walk in. I went here to get gel nails done before an event, I was pressed for time and told the man this before I sat down. I also explained that I want the whole nail painted. He did not paint the whole nail every coat of gel I had to point out he didn't paint the whole nail. He kept trying to paint the whole nail but then would wipe it off with his own nail. He kept tell me you can't paint the whole nail. The hell you can't. It made the gel lighter on the side. I was pissed and didn't have the time to take them off. Then he charged me full price. They're cheap for a reason, folks. I got my nails done there once, and I'll never go back. I had a full set done, and they looked terrible. I don't like my nails too long, and when I told the lady I wanted them cut shorter than the talons she wanted to give me, she argued with me and didn't want to cut them!! Are you kidding?? They're my nails! She kept insisting that 'they'll get shorter when I file them.' Wrong. And when she did the acrylic, as soon as she sculpted it on it looked like I needed a fill. They also weren't smooth (you know the crescent shape that's supposed to mirror your cuticle?); they look jagged like torn paper. And to top it off, they were lifting the next day. Horrible. My best friend and I walked in here last minute for a Pedicure. We were sat right away and they did a great job. Some other ladies walked in and needed to wait until the two girls were finished with us, and they didn't rush! They took their time and did a thorough job even though the salon was picking up. This is my favorite nail salon in Tucson. I have yet to find a salon here that does my manicure and pedicure as well as they do. Very clean facility with a pleasant staff who always remember returning customers. My manicure is always perfect and exactly what I ask for and my pedicures usually last longer than a month. I have moved 4 different times since living here over the past 5 years and I don't care how far I am - I will always drive the extra way to get my nails done there. I have gone to Elegant nail several times, but yesterday will be my last. I went for fills & pedicure. Nails were uneven (right hand nails too long) The girl doing the fills didn't seem to agree. The lady sitting next to me could see from her seat and agreed. When I asked her to file them down to match nails on left hand - she started talking in their oriental language - Rude then they all started telling me that I should have had nails cut. The previous visit when I had the full set applied was just as bad. They do not bother to ask how you want nails done they just dive in and do whatever they want. The icing on the cake is that after my pedicure, while my toenails were drying a group of 3 came in and the woman who did my pedicure started filling the tub where she did my pedicure and she had not washed it after I used it. No class I will only have pedicures done at a spa where a stainless steel basin is used. read more
