I found this salon after doing some research online. Kims work is fantastic and i recommend her. I gave the salon 3 stars due to my experience today. Keep in mind I get a builder gel refill and gel polish which I bring myself because they dont have the color I like. My first visit was $77 including tip, this was after their new client coupon. This was a fair price considering it was a new set with the builder gel. My second visit was a full with builder gel and gel polish which again, I brought with me. I paid $45, and I tipped her. Today, I got the same service. A fill with builder gel, my own polish and she had to fix 2 nails (she fixed another persons work, the fix was not her fault). She changed me $60. I explained i didn't pay that much last time and she said she had to fix nails and a fil with builder gel is $55. I again told her thats not what I paid last time. I didnt want to continue going back and forth so I just paid iI. Sadly, I wont be back. I wont voluntarily be priced gouged. read more

For $59 including tip, I will not return. They did an OK job on a mani-pedi--merely OK, not outstanding, but the technique used on my fingernails was to pull/tear the delicate skin off around the sides of the nails. This tearing of skin not only hurt, but left me with several painfully inflamed and puffy fingers that felt like bad hangnails for several days following my manicure. This lazy technique had never been done to me at any nail salon ever before (usually, little nipping skin-tag scissors are used to gently remove dead skin by clipping rather than tearing/yanking/pulling). The cuticle or delicate skin tags around the sides of nails should NEVER be pulled and torn off! It leaves one in pain for days and can risk infection! read more

The staff is warm and welcoming and they will squeeze you in even right before closing! The only thing is I would recommend calling ahead of time or making an appointment. i was excited to come here to get my nails done, the lady was really nice however i felt very rushed and my nails did not turn out the way i wanted them to. the color i wanted was a holographic sparkly color. it came out very botched and you can see the underlying color, which does not look like the sample. some nails are more sparkly than the others and when i asked for more glitter it seemed like it was a nuisance and they still came out botched. i paid $63 for this and it was a really unsatisfying experience. Update: i called and complained and Kim was super nice and fixed them fir free! I will be going back as she did a great job but i just wasn't satisfied with how the glitter came out. read more

I visited lovely nails yesterday for a pedicure and a full set of nee acrilics. I read all of the Yelp reviews and hoped they were spot on because I was in need of a new go to nail salon. Mind you all of this is on a Sunday when they have limited hours. I called and asked if they had time for the above services. I was told to come in within a half an hour. As soon as I arrived I was immediately seated in a pedicure chair. I'm not sure of the gentleman who did my toes but he was great! Their basic pedi gives you a hot stone massage and exfoliating scrub. It was wonderful. Once my pedicure was done I waited about 5 minutes until Kim was finished with her previous client and I was seated in her manicure chair. Another gentleman help clean up my nails until Kim was finished with another client. Once my nails were clean and ready to go can you jump right over and put a whole set of acrylics on and painted them in less than an hour. I cannot stress to you enough how much of a pet peeve time management is to me. I've left many salons before because I'm there for 3 to 4 hours for just a manicure and pedicure. Not only was the experience wonderful the quality is excellent. I asked everybody that work there about lunch recommendations because I'm new to the area, and everybody gave me a little bit of information. I used to come here for years and just stopped over time. It's been a few years since I've been here and it seemed a little run down inside since I used to go here. Not sure what's happened or what's going on but it always looked very well kept but possibly an off day. The real reason for my 3 starts was my pedicure I received. I paid $55 dollars not including tip on the deluxe pedicure plus gel polish (the gel alone was $15 which I thought was really high compared to other places). The whole experience was really meh... not much of a massage, didn't really scrub the bottom of my feet as they still feel quite rough, the sugar scrub portion was more irritating than soothing as he scrubbed it on my skin dry, and the hot rock portion was just a 5 second rub under my feet. I just expected more I guess for the price I paid. Would not recommend the pedicure. I have had my nails done by kim in the past and she is wonderful otherwise! read more

Their is always bubbles, bumps, or polish leftover all around the house. Never as relaxing as it should be, which is why I no longer bother, and head over to Lovely Nails. This 5 star review is 100% due to the fabulous work of the owner, Kim. She puts so much dedication and precision into EVERY SINGLE manicure. She is requested the most of all the nail techs, and her schedule tends to fill up, so book ahead of time! She takes pride in her work, and it is apparent in every manicure you get here! She never rushes, and makes sure they're perfect before you leave. I get gel each time, but have seen her do acrylics, french, and more! She even does a great job at the little designs I find off Pinterest and bring in (such as Jack Skellington for Halloween or little eyeballs - see pics!) , and I always leave very happy. Not only is she extremely hard working, she is also kind, and makes sure her staff is also extremely good at what they do. I was so exhausted and needed a pick me up and relaxing visit. I was close by at Pei Wei and so stopped by on my way home. I called to confirm that I could come in within 5 minutes. I'm glad I did because 5 mins later someone walked in and would have taken my spot. Once there, I got a French gel manicure on too short nails. The manicure was ok ($25 gel + $5 French). I was warned that my nails were too short for a French manicure but I did it anyway. Turns out that they were too short and I didn't particularly like them, but they were definitely nicer and cleaner than before I came in. As for the pedicure...that was heaven! I've had many pedicures before but this was by far the best. I had a basic pedicure...and got exfoliation and a hot stone massage. Who knew that could be so good! Oh my god, just what I needed for my tired legs. The hot stone massage coupled with the massage chair for 45 mins was just what I needed. However, the highlight was the meticulous and beautiful color on my toes. I have ugly feet and so won't share a picture, but I love my toes right now. I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for a pick me up pedicure whenever I'm feeling exhausted. In fact, I'm bringing my mom along too for the next pedicure! read more

I called really late on a Sunday (after another salon blew off my appointment) and they were able to take me! I have a wedding in 6 days and my time is super limited this week, so I was stressing (they didn't know this). This is how they treat all their customers, those in a pinch or not. That says a lot about their customer service. I am super grateful they squeezed me in and my nails look great. I received a pedicure and an SNS mani. The total cost was $66, which is definitely competitive with other salons in the area.The service was wonderful (one of the best leg massages I've had in a long time) and my technician was meticulous. This was my 2nd and last time coming here. I had about a 2 minute massage on my gel Pedicure. Then I had dip and wanted them removed and a regular manicure. Since I only got a basic manicure I get stuck with a charge for the removal of the dip. That is ridiculous. Also has a sign because of high charges for credit cards recommends using cash no mention of a charge for using a card. However when you go to pay they charge you $1 for using card. There are plenty of nail shops so will not be returning. Some shops just love to over charge. read more

I'm giving one star for the nail polish color I picked out. Where do these reviews come from??? My review is lengthy, but worth it. So I saw the "great" reviews and decided to try a new place for my Birthday. I called to ask for a price for mani-pedi and was told it would be 27.00. I thought it was a good price and came in. I mentioned to the man that it was my birthday and also a lady who I think was his daughter. Neither seemed to care less. But this was the least of my worries to come. I told the man that did my mani that I did not want him to cut out my ingrown toenails because on one toe it was sensitive and swollen in that area. I pointed to the area. He said okay. Then he took his tool and pulled it out anyway. I cannot tell you how much that hurt. I told him, "Ouch! That really hurt and I asked you not to touch that area!" He seriously laughed and then, seriously, WIPED the ingrown toenail on the top of my leg right above my knee and said, "yeah, yeah, look! No big deal!" WTF!! It doesn't end there. During the "massage," he rubs a warm rock on my left leg but not on my right. He never got any of the worn part of my heels buffed out. I'd have better luck buying a sheet of sand paper at home depot. Next, when I was sitting in the massage chair, he then shuts it off abruptly without even asking me! I thought that was part of the price. He then tells me to go sit at the manicure table. After all this crap that already happened, I thought I better confirm the price with the lady. Sure enough, she tells me it will be $51.00 plus tax. I told her that is not what she told me over the phone for the mani-pedi package. She said that is because I got a sparkly color so its more. I was never notified and it didn't show on the color wheel. Then she asked me, "Come on, what's the big deal. Why wouldn't you get both done?" I said, "Because I want to spend my money on other stuff!" The flower design done on my nails looked totally opposite than what was on the color wheel. I also asked for the flowers to be on the bottom part of my big toe nail. When it came time to pay my $31.00, which was for the pedi only since I was lied to about pricing, she seemed to stand there expecting a tip. Ha! I walked out with my toe in pain, the bottom of my feet unchanged, ridiculous looking flowers painted on my toes, and my hands not done. I will not be back!!! read more
