My two friends and I made an appointment to come in. They were all prepared when we arrived with three chairs next to each other. The nail technicians were very accommodating and nice. They did a beautiful job on all of us. My only suggestion would be to play soft music rather than a talk radio show. Prices were fair market value. read more

I go to see Hannah at Milano Nails for a pedicure. She is the best. She is gentle and knows how to cut the nails. I have one of my toes that tends to get ingrown and she can cut it out so it doesn't come back. Very nice person. She is the only one I have found that does a great job on my toes. read more

This is a little gem hidden in the Walmart market center. They have recently upgraded all of the pedicure chairs . The chairs are heated and have massage options. The service is always on point. You should make an appointment because they are usually quite busy. read more

The best nails salon possible. They get busy so keep that in mind, even if you have an appointment but that's because they do a really good job. They pay attention to details and they have never disappointed me. Tri is my usual guy and he's great. The shape of the nail is always good and they last so long. I'm a perfectionist and I like to get my nails done biweekly but my mom went before me (she was the one who recommended this place) and she had a regular acrylic set, and they were good for about 4 weeks. The last set I got was the sheer one and I love how clean and simple it looks. The picture is not doing it justice, it's more like a pearly white color. I asked for a new set of acrylics and she refused me and said she would only do a fill. Then charged me the same amount?? And I called ahead for pricing and was told the amount included tip which was a lie, and I was forced to tip before I paid so I ended up spending $110 total when I thought it would be $80. Gave 2 stars because least my toes are good. I'm a good tipper but being forced to tip before I pay is absurd. I went here because it had high ratings and I live 35mins away, I won't be going back. Also was super rushed , didn't get to use the massage chair because she forced me to get my nails done while I was getting my pedicure?? Everyone is really friendly and the place is clean. I got a regular spa pedicure for $27 and it was great. I made sure to ask ahead if they do the heel scrub which is the most important part to me. The best male nail technician EVER!!!! I'm sorry I don't remember his name all I know is he sits up front!! I have only had dip powder like this in PHX!! My only regret is I didn't meet him sooner!! The pedicures are the bomb!! My second time coming here and guys they are consistent!! I even sent my handsome 6"4 250# hubby for a manicure and pedicure and he loved them as well!! I was so happy!! They didn't look at him like he was coming in to rob the place (LOL)!! I drove 40 minutes to this salon because the reviews were great. I was not disappointed, The woman who did my eyebrow wax was precise and took her time. I had a pedicure and it was one of the best pedicures I've ever had definitely the best in Tucson. My nails look beautiful and I have received compliments on them and the gentleman who did my nails was patient and thorough. I will definitely be driving 40 minutes to come back to the salon and I highly recommend them. I also enjoyed the fact they spoke English and my people spoke to me. That is one thing I miss about salons is having people speak to me while they do my feet or hands. In this day and age of rushed appointments and transactional business walking into Milano Nails is such a joy. It's the little things like them offering you water the second you walk in. The fact that it smells clean and not overpowering of chemicals. The opportunity of having an organic pedicure if you choose to. The nice music playing at the perfect level so you can relax. My sister and I had great experience. Price was at market value. I got Ash Blue #571 and Kelly did a wonderful, precise job, while being amiable. I originally got a color on 3 nails I didn't love, and went back 3 hrs later and they replaced them :D When you're paying $45 and they last for 3 weeks, you might as well love them. Tri did my sister's nails and she likes them a log. Clean space, free little chocolates and water bottles. read more

We were on a hunt to de-stress after the holidays and a pedicure was just the ticket. Made a call to inquire on pricing and how quickly we could get in and drove over immediately. The salon has a relaxing, soothing look to it. The chairs are a soft pretty blue and the walls are white which makes it all appear very clean and ~ again ~ soothing. Pedicures done for my guy and me and we walked out of there knowing we'll be coming back to this location soon. read more

I splurged on me for some pampering. Booked online for eyebrows, full tips (it has been 2 years since any nails), and pedi. Their system sent a text back to confirm the chosen date/time and then it was booked. I arrived and they were not super busy for 11am on a Sunday. I'll make sure to come back around then in the future. Started with the brows...quickly done and they look great. No pressure to get my upper lip done after I said 'no' once. Nails next. I went with pink/white because I've never done a white tip in +20 years of nails. Painted French tip, sure. Length and shape (square, rounded corners) were spot on with no go backs for correcting. Really, accurate across all nails for length. Pedi was just their Classic. My soles are super ticklish and I wanted to see how they do things the first time before upgrading. I will go for their luxe package next time. I still had the giggles and squirms but my feet feel great. And they were able to do gel on my toes given I know I'm not coming in for nearly a month with my travel and work schedule. Total for the day was $95 and tips. Remember cash for the tips as they want you to tip direct to the techs. They were shocked to get cash for the services as they are set up with Square or something similar for the services payments. I was out in less than 2 hours...and was worth the investment in me. Will be making this my personal treat for myself each month. read more

I used to come here years ago and it was great. Came back yesterday with my sister in law for a dip manicure. We made an appointment for 10:30am. We showed up a few minutes early. When we walked in we told them we had an appointment and they said they'd be right with us. 10 minutes pass and nothing. 20 minutes pass and nothing. They then asked us what we were there for so we again said we made an appointment for 1030 for dip powder. They again told us ok a few more min. 30 minutes pass and they finally seat my sister in law. A few minutes after that a lady walked in and the workers knew her by name, asked if she had an appointment and seated her immediately. After another few minutes I went up to someone and said again I had an appointment for 1030, have been waiting, and will I be seen soon. She finally sat me down but still didn't start. Then another person walked in who they knew by name. She said she didn't have an appointment so she could make one for next week since they were busy. But the workers were like no no come sit! And started on her immediately while I was still waiting!! So basically it seems like in order to be noticed or be treated with any respect you have to be a regular. My nails look decent but my sister in laws look extremely bulky. Neither of us will be returning here! read more

In spite of repeated cuts and my repeated request to please be more gentle, it's taken over a month for me to finally heal up from being butchered. One of the Worst Acrylic Sets i've gotten. I had an appointment and it was rushed. They are so clumpy and thick .I showed the tech exactly what i wanted and confirmed with her that i wanted it exactly like the picture. This is not the first time they've disappointed me. Came here because I was on this side of town on Saturday and this place had great reviews. I can see why! I called ahead to make an appointment which I would definitely recommend. This place was busy but with an appointment, they got to us right on time. The nail techs did a great job from start to finish. The pedicure wasn't rushed and I feel that for the $36 price, it was well worth it! I don't mind paying more for a pedicure or service if the service is going to be done right and isn't rushed. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and my friend and I enjoyed some much needed girl time. I would absolutely come back if I am in the area or may even be willing to make the drive here just because! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

He told the manager it's important for a players feet to feel good as an active athlete is so important . They were featured on camera having a pedicure together in phoenix /scottsdale on tv chatting with the stoic old manager. My toes and feet do feel much better, grateful for your service ! Located in Safeway shopping mall far north side behind Verison , near subway , Anytime fitness . Parking can be busy & full directly in front but also big lot in front of Safeway .

This is a little gem in an unexpected locale! I want four primary things in a nail salon: 1- It must be clean. 2- The staff should be helpful, polite and care about their profession 3- The cost of the services rendered should be reasonable and understandable. 4- My nails shouldn't chip or smudge for at least 4-5 days (natural nails). I've been to posh salons where staff are polite, but don't give the professional attention to detail. I've been to salons where prices are reasonable, but, you get the basics and can't count on the end results. I got more than anticipated at Milano Nails. It has a calming decor, comfortable chairs, enjoyable music and personnel who seek to understand the client's needs. As a bonus, my polish lasted and the extras I received were what you get for much more money at other salons. I am happy with my experience and I am not easy to please...just saying. I reluctantly recommend, as I want to be able to walk in anytime and quickly get service and prefer they don't get overbooked. Mia did my nails and she was great! read more

I stopped in today to get a gel manicure for myself and a polish change for my four year old daughter and I was very impressed. I was skeptical when we walked in because there was only one other client there and the decor was somewhat sparse but I am so glad that I gave this salon a chance. Not only was the entire staff kind and attentive to me, but they went above and beyond for my daughter. She wanted to chat, ask questions, and look around to see where things were and the staff members were more than gracious in accommodating her. They genuinely seemed happy to do it; they engaged her in conversation, brought her a little chair to sit in next to me while my nails were being finished, and gave her a lollipop. On top of that, both of our nails looked beautiful when we left. My gel manicure looks the best of any I have had. I would definitely recommend this salon. read more

I've been going to Milano for over a year and LOVE the services! I always ask for Lou because I ALWAYS get the BEST services from him (I haven't tried any of the other techs, but I've heard they are great too). I get the gel polish and nail fill and they have NEVER chipped or broken, lasting for over 3 weeks, if I have to go that long. AND, his Deluxe pedicure is heavenly! I'm walking on air for a week! The service prices are very reasonable, but even more important to me is the cleanliness of the shop and the fact that it doesn't smell like a nail salon! The air filters running constantly and the soothing music accompanying the tranquil beach scenes on the big screen TV add to a VERY relaxing experience. I've been living in Tucson over twenty years and tried so many nails spa. I have never stayed at one particular nails spa because most of them were rushing through or they did what they want to do to your nails and not what you wanted. As a result, I stop getting my nails done for over two years. Last weekend, I took a chance and gone to Milano and I had a great experience. I finally found my nails spa! I don't like the nail tech talk my ears off and asking all the personal questions. I highly recommended Erica to you!!! She made the nails exactly what I wanted and she was so gentle and quiet. I've been to a couple nail salons around town and I find myself going back to Milano. I usually have Erica do my acrylics and the last time I went in (yesterday 12/3/15) I had Lu do the build-able gels. Erica is really easy to talk to and is great! I just met Lu and he has such a great personality and is great with nails as well. They are a very caring place and if you open up to them they'll reciprocate and it feels like you're talking to a friend. I feel safe to experiment when I go there and I reckon this will be my salon of choice from now on. read more

I have had acrylic nails for over 20 years. Over that time, I have had them done in 5 different states and Okinawa. I have been going to Milano Nail Salon for the last year and am 100% pleased. The skill professionalism is excellent. While they are efficient, the experience is always peaceful and not at all rushed. The staff is very friendly and gentle. They are all willing to meet my specific needs. I especially like Kelly. The salon is very clean and the pedi chairs are totally relaxing. I completely recommend this salon. read more

I get gel mani and classic pedi here every 2-3 weeks. Last week I got gel nails that didn't match toes very well. We checked bottles and they were the same. Wasn't that bad, gel redder than toes, but I told them it was okay. Left town that evening. Next morning, I woke up and nails were a pumpkin orange!!! The color changed overnight!! My husband and I laughed!!! When I got back to town, walked in, and they were as surprised as I was! Removed gel and re-did nails in a color close to toes at no charge! Awesome place!!! read more

I've come to this nails for a year and anyone can do for me . I came back to get both my nails and toes done about a week ago, Mindy did my toes and on that day was busy, she did so quick and massage just about 3-4 minutes , i usually have about 10 minutes for massage but not today . Her husband did my arylic nails, this was first time he does my nails . unbelievable , he did my nail over an hour just for a fills and not look good at all . She said she came here to do full set white tips and Lu did her nails, he's doing okay but when he's done his job, all her nails have bubbles and he couldn't be able to fix it . To make matters worse, when I politely asked for a refund due to the poor service and unsatisfactory results, my request was declined. The guy that was just on his phone not doing anything, started getting tone with me on the phone when i asked who the HR was or what the managers phone number was, this is where he yelled and told me he doesn't know the phone number because he's out of the country .. later on i still kept asking for the managers phone number and i got hung up on. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, which only added to my frustration. I believe that as a paying customer, which I paid 65 dollars for these, I deserve to receive the service I pay for, and in this case, I did not. I am very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning to this salon. I hope you take this feedback seriously! and work on improving your customer service and quality of work.
