This is not a small mistake--it is a serious issue in the luxury watch market and directly impacts resale value and buyer confidence. When I later sold the watch, I took a financial loss specifically because of this mismatch. There is also a photo from the actual sale where their salesman, Gabe, is holding the watch together with the incorrect warranty card. That image alone raises serious concerns, because it shows the watch and mismatched documentation being presented together at the time of purchase. For a business that presents itself as a trusted luxury dealer, this level of error is unacceptable. It cost me real money and should not happen in a professional watch dealership. What makes this even worse is that every time I try to leave an honest review explaining what happened, it gets removed instead of addressed. Instead of taking responsibility for a clear documentation error that caused financial loss, it feels like the priority is suppressing negative feedback rather than resolving the issue. I am not trying to attack the business--I am asking for accountability. I want to be made whole for the loss caused by being sold a watch with incorrect documentation. I made an appt w/ Moses to come in, I was texted that same day by Gabriel asking what I was looking for which I responded to in detail, and when I got there Gabriel wasn't prepared with what I asked for. Also, I was a bit confused as to why Gabriel was the one helping with the watch and not Moses (Moses was just on the sidelines either taking pics with groupies, and sitting just messing around) otherwise I would have just gone with any other jeweler. I also used to follow Moses on social media and made the appt with HIM so HE could help me out, not one of his employees. I think I deserve that since I was willing to spend almost $10K on a watch. But wait maybe it's the ppl spending over $20K, $50K, $100K, that he actually helps out. Tsk tsk. When I get there Gabriel starts showing me random female watches, the very first one was a very beat up one that wasn't close to what I was looking for. Then he was showing me other ones, I wasn't shown a variety of watches, maybe just a couple which I didn't like any. The one Gabriel was trying to sell me on was too big for me, felt very sales-y. Don't get me wrong tho, Gabriel was VERY friendly. Nothing against him. But I wasn't shown a variety of watches. Maybe just 3. I would have thought they'd have more inventory. I am just speaking on Rolex, didn't ask about any other ones. Rolex is what I wanted. ALSO!! They have a media person, taking video as soon as you walk in there to talk to them. I wasn't even asked if I was okay with it: I didn't go there for the fame, or to be recorded buying a watch. I just wanted a watch!!! The man was recording absolutely every second which made the experience cringy. I started feeling uncomfortable and decided to just not go with any. Whole mood changed once I didn't want to buy any. The camera guy went elsewhere to Moses and Gabriel did look bothered. I didn't like that one bit. It's all show. No genuine vibes here. Just trying to sell. I did end up buying my watch elsewhere! I had brought along with me my Rolex Submariner watch, which I had purchased about twenty years ago and now rarely wore because the gold and stainless band was not really my style anymore. My intention was to trade it in/up for another, less flashy Rolex. As I walked into Anter Jewelry I was immediately impressed by their sizable selection of upscale watches. There, I spotted a late model Rolex Batman. Although, I liked their Batman, I wanted to shop it on 47th St., as there were so many watch sellers to shop and compare similarly from. Ultimately, I was led back to Anter Jewelry. Both Mike and Sam (the owner), at Anter were very helpful and pleasant to work with. In addition to pricing their Rolex Batman very competitively, they offered me a handsome trade-in price for my submariner. They also offered me a fair price for an Omega Seamaster, which I had at home and was no longer wearing any longer. With very little haggling over the final price of the Rolex Batman, we ultimately made a deal. They provided me with a prepaid shipping label to ship them my Omega. I gave them my Submariner for the trade, and they provided me with ample documentation that supported our transaction. When I returned home to California, I shipped them my Omega, in the box it originally came in. A few days later, my Rolex Batman arrived from Anter Jewelry. My experience at Anter was a pleasant one. I placed a lot of trust in Anter Jewelry, and they rose to the occasion. They treated me fairly and executed our transaction as promised. I would recommend Anter Jewelry and would do business with them again. As a side note, based on the documentation that was provided with the Rolex Batman, I was able to trace the origins of the watch. I was surprised to learn that it was originally sold by a US Authorized Rolex Dealer to a well-known person in the entertainment industry. That made my experience even more interesting!
