Pubic hair and human hair mixed with blood.

This hotel is from the JUMP disgusting. As a frequent business traveler...this ranks as well as a shady hostel. Def crime scene vibes. Called front desk many times to no avail about the blood stains. No greetings from stoic concierge. I'm beginning to believe I'm a pawn in the game Clue..

Water pools around feet. 5 minute shower and feet completely submerged in hotel tub scum. GERMS.

Our room was great and we enjoyed having the extra space with the couch and tv room. The snack/kick back food was really great and the breakfast was amazing as well. I think the food alone makes staying at the Drury Inn an amazing deal. This location has a restaurant inside now which is helpful too. The parking seemed a bit limited but I felt safe at this location as it appears to be in a newer area near the mall/etc. There is a gas station and Jimmy Johns right in front of the hotel. I recommended this location for families.

But, when I woke up and ran the water for a bath, the water was rusty and murky, so I had to contact the front desk. With the noise and the water, I could not stay in that room. They upgraded me to a much better room, and the experience was good from then. Except, when I came out of the bath, there was a lizard on the wall. I am from California, I screamed! I am not used to anything but spiders! The pools downstairs also did not look the cleanest, so I did not even unpack my bathing suit. It was an average experience. Next time, I think I'll book an air b&B and skip the hotels all together.

As a Bonvoy Gold member, I received plenty of snacks and drinks as a warm welcome, which I appreciated. I do not often see hotels go above and beyond the way TownePlace Suites did. The rooms were freshly cleaned and organized, which was great, but the two air conditioner controls were a bit perplexing. I had to find the controls, though there was a note saying they were by the back of the window. Removing the redundant climate control by the front door would be useful and would reduce confusion. I had a pleasurable stay, and the breakfast bar was really good with a quick-make waffle machine and stellar options. I will consider staying at another TownePlace Suites property in the near future.

We are one family of the many thousands that have come through Louisiana to be able to attend and participate in the 2025 USBC Open Championships, a nationwide bowling tournament. She is so sweet and so polite. We asked her for many food recommendations, and all of the spots that she named were phenomenal. Now, we are not from here. So, maybe our idea of what is phenomenal to us may not be the same for others. But I can guarantee you one thing, The food places that were suggested to us not only served great food, but also they served up GR8 service. Everybody's attitudes were so enthusiastic and positive. Not to mention, we are in the south, everyone was so polite. There really is such a thing still as southern comfort and southern hospitality. We received both by staying here, at this hotel. This hotel was definitely clean and comfortable, well lit, and not super modern, but definitely not at all close to being outdated. I like that the pool area is open fairly late into the day and that towels and things are removed constantly. The restroom and icemaker areas are clean and kept that way all throughout the day and evening. The breakfast varies day-to-day. For example, yesterday there were waffles and breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, sausage, patties, cereal, bagels, and other bread items available in addition to four or five may be different types of milk, and two kinds of yogurt. And today, many of the same items were offered along with biscuits and gravy. Nothing about this hotel has disappointed us one bit. All of the appliances in our room are in working condition. Dish, dishwashing detergent and sponges, coffee, utensils, some basic flatware, and other dishes of various types are available. There's also a long listing of different appliances and things that are available to be borrowed from the front desk. The one that really shocked us was a rice cooker. Room rates were definitely reasonable. And even more so now that I've seen the hotel, the room that we were given, all the things. You definitely get what you pay for. I have stayed in rooms that have costed four or five even seven times more than what I paid for this one and in comparison, while this one may not seem as fancy, it definitely offered more to me and was more valuable to me because I had all the things I needed to keep my family comfortable during this trip. Oh, and did I mention? Parking here is absolutely free. The hotel is very close to the freeway on ramp as well. That makes it very nice, on and off the freeway as we please very easily. Ever you were looking for a hotel in Baton Rouge I would stay here again, without question or hesitation !

I don't know why it's listed as one of the top hotels in the area but under the Hilton name, I expected lot more. I will say that the staff was nice except for the person that checked me in the first night everyone else was nice.

We checked in and were sent on our way to our room. The elevator smelled like urine. When we neared our room, we saw the maid outside the adjacent room. When we entered our room, the she quickly turned her head and asked what we were doing and that this room wasn't ready, but it was her sharp unpleasant tone that caught us off guard. No worries, I told her but to please contact the front desk. She said I don't know who told yall it was ready but do you see it's not ready? Anyway we made our way back to the lobby, got another room, got in a different elevator, and noticed the disgusting odor again. We get off on our floor and it smells awful like a ranch mixed with urine. The room also smelled musty and like a wet dog. We tried to look past that but then there was also a disgusting hair ball on the floor, stains on the bedding and curtains, and the just total ick. I give one star to the kind lady at the restaurant and check-in and for the view of the Mississippi River. Unfortunately we were not comfortable at all during our stay. We felt disgusting and couldn't wait to leave.

Upon check in everyone at the front desk seemed confused and uninterested, granted I came in about 1030 PM but come on after a 6.5 hour flight a little more care and consideration for any traveler would have been welcome. The floor I was on smelled like cigarette smoke-when I brought someone upstairs, the man said- uhm I don't smell anything. The next morning I woke up to coughing (I found out later who was ever stying in the next room next to me was smoking-it was an adjoining room door-not a solid wall). They said they handled it....why didn't you handle it the evening before? The rooms while nice are very very cramped there is barely enough room to move- and also not clean-the floors just look dirty. When I asked for a manager to call me back- the manger just sent me a form letter "Please know that your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Just a terrible experience.
