Having a full kitchen remodeling project was the last stage of our full home remodeling plan, which we had spread out over the last 3 years. We met a couple of times before signing the work contract and I must say that Dima's work ethics are above and beyond. During the project, we had an issues with some materials that didn't arrive on time, but Dima took care of it asap. The kitchen remodeling project included replacing the cabinets, countertops, have plumbing and electrical work done and replacing the tiled floor. It as been some time since the we finished with the kitchen remodeling project and during this time there were some small changes that we wanted to make. Just a little over a year ago we started a full home remodeling project with a different remodeling contractor. Everything was very promising; we had the architectural plan and design all figured out and were very eager to start the remodelling work. Unfortunately, the remodeling contractor who we worked with did not keep to our agreement and it turned out to be a nightmare. We ended up having to stop all work. We felt that our trust was betrayed, and it took some time before we started searching for a new home remodeling contractor who could take over the project. We decided that we would try to find a contractor through friends and family. A friend of a friend recommended Element Home Remodeling. He invited us to his home to see their work. We decided to stop construction in the middle of the process and find a different company to work with. A friend of ours recommended Element. The owner called me back to ask for a second chance and I agreed as it wasnt his fault that 'sleepy Joe' was manning his phones. Our search for a home renovation contractor began about six months ago. We met with a couple of renovation contractor companies. However, due to Covid 19 we decided to delay our plan, which was very disappointing, but we felt like we had no choice. About 2 months later we noticed a leak in the bathroom, which led us to the conclusion that we could no longer delay our renovation. Finding a reliable renovation contractor company was on the top of our list. We decided that none of the renovating companies that we had met with prior to delaying the project, were a good fit, so we started our search for a contractor from scratch. We searched online and decided to contact some companies including Element Home remodeling. They seemed reliable and were one of the top rated renovation contractor companies in the area. Ben came over for a consultation and we liked what he had to offer. He mentioned that the company would take care of all the details involved in our bathroom renovation plan, including submitting a request for a permit. He also offered us the option to work with the company designer, who by the way is awesome and took our bathroom renovation to a completely different level and we love it. It took quite a long time for the city to approve the permit, which was a bit annoying, but when it finally came through the company started renovating almost immediately, as Ben had promised us. We had a full bathroom renovation, top to bottom. We had the plumbing and electrical system replaced, including changing the tub to a walk-in shower and replacing the wall and floor tiles. We had an amazing time shopping around and working with Allen the designer who had some beautiful ideas to offer. The company were able to finish the renovation in less than three weeks. The renovation team made everything look so easy and they did good work. Sean was fantastic. From Day one he was very helpful with regards to design and permits. We had a very clear idea of what we wanted, and he and the company's designers and architect were very open to our ideas. He suggested a few changes that gave us what we wanted but also kept the cost down. All cost aspects were negotiated upfront, the contract and project timeline were very clear from the start. During the construction stage, Sean and the designers helped us with selecting materials, they organized the orders for us and also managed the delivery. We were all very impressed with the daily communication that Sean and the team kept with us. We did not live at home at the time and due to our tight work schedule, we could not visit the property regularly. Sean made sure to send images of the progress every day, in addition to regular phone calls in which he checked on how we wanted to have certain things done. This was not the first time that I hired a home remodeling contractor to update my house, so I had some experience about how to choose the right company. In comparison to the experience that I had in the past, Ben and Element Home Remodeling provided excellent service and quality work. We rented an apartment for the entire home remodel, and for this reason were very eager to finish the project as soon possible. This was something that I made sure to point out to Ben, and the company before hiring their service. The home remodeling team that the company sent out were very consistent and showed up to work almost every day. They made sure that I was fully aware of the weekly schedule and I felt that they were fully committed to my project. During the home remodel, I decided that I would like to make a few changes. Several of the changes were quite minor, but others were major and I thought that the company might not agree to some of the changes, as some of the work was already done by that time. Our Home Remodel was completed quite a while ago and we couldn't not be happier with the way things turned out. We were very excited to work with Element Home Remodeling. They remodeled our friend's house and we heard such good things about this company, especially about Matt in particular. We saw their work and were impressed with them, so choosing Element Home Remodeling as our contractor for our remodeling plan was an obvious choice for us. It took the company some time to prepare an estimate based on the plans that we provided which had been created by an outsourced architect, and we were really hoping that their estimate would match our budget. It turned out that we had to stretch our budget just a little, but it was worth every penny. Apparently, Element Home Remodeling offer architectural services, and in eyesight hiring them for drawing up the plans would have been a better choice although our architect did a pretty good job. However, we had started working on creating plans way before we met Element Home Remodeling and had had to put the project on hold due to Covid and budget issues. Our plan involved a 400 sq addition, kitchen remodel, remodeling all bathrooms, replacing the floor, installing a new Hvac system, replacing and installing new windows and some other small items. We choose Element Home Remodeling for our home remodel in San Jose. This is an old house, it was in bad condition and we had many issues with our plumbing system in the kitchen and both bathrooms. It got to a point where it really interrupted our day to day schedule. We were planning to have a complete home remodeling for the past couple of years, but it always got delayed. Team was very responsive in all stages of the project (design aesthetics , pre and post demo - installation , completion and cleanup, managing HOA requirements and process which was very lengthy. Pre project as this undertaking can be overwhelming; RefRefael made himself available to walk couple showrooms with me on the weekend. I had a lot of questions and he was a good guide. They did an excellent job in executing my design aesthetics. With any project attention to detail is a must and I like if if there had to be any correction it was immediately addressed. I am not a fan of grout line and was very specific about minimal grout line. The tile installer did an excellent executing against my requirements while maintaining to the execution integrity of the design elements. Also because different vendors were used for finishes (example vanity) they ensured before accepting the product at pickup it was thoroughly inspected keeping customer satisfaction central. In this case they refused to accept the vanity because it was damage and immediately reached out to me so I can resolve the issue with the vendor. The vendor had to rebuild the vanity. From start to finish I had a pleasant experience working with this company and their team. This is the second time that I have hired a remodeling company. However, it's the first time that I have worked with Element Home Remodeling. It's the second time I have worked with Ben and Element Home Remodeling Contractors. Ben is amazing, we had a kitchen remodel which included some structural changes. We also worked with Jamie the company's architect, who drew up the plans and did a great job. Last time we hired Element Home Remodeling Contractors we had them remodel both our bathrooms. We did of course meet with other local remodeling contractors, but we felt a connection with Ben on both a professional and personal level. He did a great job and was always responsive. My elderly parents experienced terrible water damage on portions of the hall, living room and dining room. After I called, Rafael came promptly to assess the situation and make recommendations. After demolition, the flat roof (since that was part of the original design) and skylight were replaced. After the water remediation services were performed by a third party, Rafael's team finished the job by patching the drywall and painting. My parents were so happy because they handled the details from beginning to end with no loose ends, demonstrated flexibility, and took care of last minute requests during the final stage. We purchased a new house and hired Element Home Remodeling to work as our remodeling contractors and remodel our kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. We met Refael at the initial consultation and were impressed with his ideas and approach on how to overcome some of the obstacles that we were facing. We had previously met with a couple of home remodeling contractors and although Element Home Remodeling weren't the cheapest, we felt that our money would be well spent if we choose to work with them because of the knowledge and professionalism that they presented.  During the meeting Refael was very transparent with what we could expect from the remodeling project regarding cost, deadlines and setbacks. He had some beautiful and helpful ideas which had a great impact on the results of this home remodeling project. We stayed in our house during the entire home remodeling process, together with our two young boys. This was something that worried me, at first, but Refael and the remodeling team were very flexible and respectful towards our needs. They went out of there way to clean up after themselves at the end of every workday and made us feel as comfortable as possible. Our home remodel was a big project and involved completely redesigning the interior of the house and some back yard work. We hired Element Home Remodel for the complete home renovation, after I got a chance to see their work firsthand at the house of a family member who recommended them. We got the company's full service including design and architecture, in addition to the remodeling work. The architects were spot on with the plans and ideas and the company got the plans approved by the city much earlier than expected. They knew exactly what we were expecting, and they delivered it to us. We just finished our project, and I am happy to share the positive experience that I had while working with this company and the people who are a part of it. I have never had anything remodeled before, so this was a first-time experience for me. I hired Element Home Remodeling for a full home remodeling project. This was all recent and the work was done during Covid 19, which was very stressful at first. This wasn't a small remodeling project. We remodeled our entire home which required architectural plans, submitting for permits and passing many city inspections. First, we partnered with Element Home Remodeling designers and architects to create architectural plans which were submitted to the city in order to get an approved permit. Due to covid 19 that took quite some time. However, Refael our project manager and the company were the ones who took care of the submission for us and did their part of the process as fast as possible so we could get started with the actual remodeling work.
