My husband and I came to Elements Restaurant & Bar for dinner on a Saturday night around 8:00 p.m. We already knew this was going to be one of the more expensive restaurants in the area, so we planned ahead and came ready to enjoy a nice meal. We were pleasantly surprised that, despite how busy the restaurant was, we were seated pretty quickly. To me, a packed restaurant is usually a good sign, and this place definitely lived up to the hype. For an appetizer, we ordered the crab cheese wontons (crab rangoons), and they were absolutely delicious. They gave us a generous portion, and I honestly couldn't get enough of them. I was there for the sushi and ordered the Sun Fire Roll and the Rainbow Roll. The Sun Fire Roll was fantastic and full of flavor. My only disappointment was the Rainbow Roll. While it tasted good, I expected more fish, especially for a roll that was nearly $15. Four of the pieces were topped with avocado instead of fish, while only a few pieces had salmon, tuna, or white fish. It felt a little skimpy compared to what I typically expect from a rainbow roll, so that was a bit of a letdown. My husband ordered the chicken wrap with French fries, sautéed spinach, and broccoli. The fries were exactly what great restaurant fries should be--crispy on the outside, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. One thing that stood out before we even walked inside was the incredible smell coming from the grill. It had us seriously considering ordering a burger or steak, and after seeing other meals come out, that's definitely on the list for our next visit. We were way too full for dessert--we definitely ordered more food than our stomachs could handle--but the cookie butter pie sounded amazing. We'll have to save room for it next time. Overall, we had a great experience with fast service, excellent food, and a lively atmosphere. The Rainbow Roll kept this from being a five-star visit for me, but I'd absolutely come back to try more of the menu. read more

Service: attentive! I had a child with me and our server made sure we were taken care of. Ambiance: family-friendly, popular spot! It's a little dark, but they have elevated decor. Food: I tried the Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken Parm, Santa Fe Salad (no quinoa), Sesame Chicken Salad (not pictured) and the Element Roll. The Chicken Noodle Soup - came with a lot of stuff: vermicelli noodles, spinach, and the usual celery, carrots, onions, and chicken. Flavor was good and quite filling. The Drunken Chicken Parmesan - really loved the flavor of this. Came hot with melty cheese, with a vodka sauce, I'd order again! Santa Fe Salad - one of their more popular salads. Pretty tasty! I like the addition of the chicken and avocado to make the salad more nutritious and filling. Sesame Chicken Salad - i forgot to take a picture of this one, but I personally preferred this over the Santa Fe Salad. Flavor was great, and i really liked the fried wonton pieces and toasted almonds. The Element Roll - i haven't had a roll with this combination of ingredients, and I'd come back to get it again! I love spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and seaweed salad, so this roll was an immediate love. Overall - I'd come back! I want to try their other salads! Haha! OMG, the Crab & Cheese WonTons are AMAZINGLY good!! Never tasted wontons like this before and I've had plenty of wontons!Apparently they are a unique secret house recipe with crabmeat, cream cheese, a blend of seasoning, with a touch of veggies. Everyone was humming ohhhh yum!! Starter soups: We chose two soups on this cold Winter night. First, the Miso Soup which was surprisingly good. Small tofu cubes and generous amount of gut healthy seaweed. The flavorful Miso broth had a nice depth to it. Husband had the Potato Soup topped with bacon and cheddar cheese. He said it was delicious - Downed it to the last drop. Restaurants soups are sometimes overly salty but these two were not. So far, starter wontons and soups were excellent. Main course: At first bite, my tastebuds realized this is not your everyday burger with a slice of fresh tomato and leafy green lettuce on a lovely brioche bun with a generous side of French Fries. Could this be the perfect burger?!! Cooked medium, this mouth-watering burger with slightly pink center, moist with a charbroiled flavor was divine. Both of us loved our burgers! Two Gourmet Burgers of quality beef and large size with 8 ounces each. Had to cut my burger in half to manage holding it. Sautéed mushrooms on one and the other American Cheeseburger with grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms. So big, I couldn't finish the burger. My husband finished his burger but he said he was totally stuffed, still had leftover fries. Moments like this we wished we had bigger stomachs to eat it all. Absolutely delicious burgers!! Ambience: Clean eatery, dark woods warm ambiance. It did seem a bit dark with all the wood and dark colored walls. It could use an updating of wall colors to brighten the space. Loved the colorful Chihuly-like glass art-decor on walls. Valentine's Day hearts hung from the light fixtures. Menu: Diverse menu. Not only burgers, but steaks, shrimp, salads, sandwiches, pasta, chicken and sushi! Almost a bit overwhelming with so many choices to choose from. Full bar with special drinks, lots of menu specials. The restaurant is huge. It's got multiple rooms including a banquet room which is really nice. I can see how this can be an elegant venue for a party, reception, special events. Plenty of free parking. Affordable moderate prices. Burgers around $20 each depending on your added toppings if desired. Kids menu with items under $10. Check this place out! Best happy hour menu in Manahawkin and $3.50 pints of Yuengling. Skip the sandwiches, go salad sushi or entree. Crab n cream cheese wantons and the potato pancakes are solid apps. The sushi is legit here and check out these entrees. Lemon chicken and chicken pot pie could serve 2 peeps each. Delicious too. It's quality for real. We started with their sampler appetizer - great taste and assortment but everything was "cheese" and also everything was fried! For dinner, my wife had their Dynamite Shrimp with pasta - it was wonderful with the shrimp being cooked well and very nicely spiced. A delicious entree.... I tried their Stuffed Pork Loin with mashed potatoes - I found the stuffing was very flavorful but the pork loin was extremely overcooked, the mashed potatoes were done well but would have benefited from some more gravy! I would suggest that you steer clear of the Pork Loin but the Dynamite Shrimp are worth trying. We brought home a dessert for later - the Cookie Butter Banana Pie - it sounded too good to pass up. I'll update this after we try it! Our server, Luke was excellent along with the supporting bus staff. They did a GREAT JOB! The interior was a little dark for my liking - all of the wood was on the dark side but to was spacious with high ceiling and overall, not overly loud even with our table adjacent to the bar. We've been there a number of times and I found that there are some really good dishes, and some not so good.the pork chop is on the top of my list. They truly do have everything! I came here with a group on a Saturday and we were immediately sat. I elected to start with their baked potato soup, and it did NOT disappoint. From the cheese pull factor to the taste, you've got to try this soup! For my entree I got the chicken and grilled vegetables. This dish I'd give a 3.5/5 stars. There was nothing special about the chicken or vegetables. The chicken was a little rubbery and the vegetables felt a little too soft/watery. The saving element (pun intended) was the balsamic glaze but I wasn't wowed by the texture of the overall dish. Our waiter (who's name I'm forgetting) really took care of us. Our homeowners association had our Holiday party here and Robin was terrific this was the second year here. There were so many improvements to the room it was just beautiful. From the lighting to the color of the walls to the floors and tables. Everything was just perfect. There were poinsettias on the tables and it looked so festive. The appetizers were nice and hot and always was refilled. Dinner was buffet nice and hot, everything was fresh. Hygiene Concern... My wife and I attempted to have nice lunch at this location. My wife who was not wearing lipstick at the time, initially received her drink and could not see what is in the photo attached. However, she did FEEL a texture on her glass rim at one point and to her horror it was another woman's lipstick and some sort of debris on her DIRTY martini glass! As disgusting as that was and to add insult to injury, we called over our waitress to explain how unsanitary and disgusting this was, pointing out the potential it has to spread disease. The waitress's response to the situation was "It's not that big a deal" with a chuckle. WOW!!!!!
