Ordered a large pie with extra cheese and pepperoni and fried calamari. The pie was average, having a thick crust while we prefer thin. Not much extra cheese and the sauce was ok. While the fried calamari was crispy and tender, it tasted like it was fried in old oil. It was ok for a quick Monday night meal. The Grapevine has drastically improved!! Haven't been here for quite a few years. Service was outstanding as was the food!! Food: Eggplant appetizer was excellent. The eggplant was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Mozzarella and tomato topping was flavorful. All around great app. Mozzarella sticks were fat and cheesy!! Dinners: Linguine with clams was delicious. Mixture of both whole and chopped. Chicken parm was equally as good. Big portions cooked perfectly. Chicken Murphy was excellent. WHEN IT COMES TO WORK. this was a horrible experience for me. I applies for food delivery driver. when the owner came out, he basically told me that their was not a driving position open and that he needed front desk for pizza checkout . I was the least bit excited but I said whatever and went with it. so basically while learning everything on their computer system and all that, he would pick up on three way call almost everytime I was taking an order and butt in on the conversation, almost like he was scared I would do it wrong. We used to come here all the time but stopped... dont remember exactly why...think in might have been ownership transition, covid, whatever....but glad we came back on a whim tonite. Same great service as years ago, the chicken pot pie was exceptional, and it's just a good old tuckerton piney watering hole with good food. Will be back very soon. Yeah, me neither but that is what the Grapevine 2 pizza has become. I have been from ordering from them since they opened, and for years it was the best sausage pie around . The best from any place that delivers to the West Tuckerton area. Over the past year or so I have been getting consistently worse pies. The middle of the pie has a way too thin, sometimes almost non existent crust underneath, Impossible to pick up and eat. A truly sloppy mess. For a minute I thought I had the problem figured out and started ordering the pies well done but that only worked once and the next , and the last 2 pies I will ever order from them , came in their new found signature recipe ...Their soupy mess like state. Now when I want a decent pie that can support its own weight in your hand , with or without toppings, and doesn't require a spoon to eat I have to drive over to Mystic Island. The Grapevine has been my favorite local place for several years now. However, I think the quality of the food has declined recently. I went this past weekend with friends and raved about how good the prime rib was. When it arrived at the table it was literally as tough as shoe leather. I noticed immediately when I tried cutting it. It is usually very tender and delicious, but this time it was awful. Not sure what has changed but this meal was extremely disappointing. Based on their Mother's Day buffet, I'd never return here. The rolls were cold and stale. Coleslaw and Ceasar Salad and green salad were uncovered and limp and warm. The "hot" food was cold. Over the past 5years, we have been coming to your restaurant periodically for your wonderful Tuesday chicken madness meals at a wonderful price. We are a party of 4. One of our members, due to health reasons, substitutes cooked veggies in place of the pasta. This has never been an issue, and we have never been charged extra for this substitution. Tonight, we had a different waitperson take our order. She informed us that there will be an extra charge of $5. for the veggie substitute. We asked her to check with management and she came back and told us that the $4. extra charge holds true. We travel over 50 miles to get to your restaurant and I am wondering if we should try another restaurant when we are in the area. Is this policy on the menu. Ordered espresso martini (delicious) soup was beef vegetable, not much beef but delicious!! Bread is the best I've had down here!! Just as good as North Jersey if not better! Very roomy inside, though I thought it was really loud. Staff was friendly and we got a seat right away on a Saturday night. We got the Seafood Broil and it was really good and seamed like a good value for the money. I really wanted to try the tuna, but decided on the broil instead because of the variety. They have mostly Italian dishes and a HUGE menu so you'll definitely be able to find something to eat. The house salad with house balsamic dressing was the best house salad I've ever had. It was fresh and the dressing is really good. The French onion soup was a little on the bland side: something salt couldn't even fix, so we won't be getting that again. With three people, the bill with tip came to $100 so it's a little on the expensive side, but it was good. read more

One of my favorites. They always have a great staff and the food is impeccable. We are locals and have tried almost every restaurant in the area and we always find our way back to the grapevine. We love the wings, on Weds they have 6 dollar pizzas (only in bar area/patio). They are a little bigger then a personal pizza but a little smaller then a small pizza. Also 2 dollar Coors lights during happy hour. When we want an actual dinner I go for penne with vodka sauce. You can tell it's fresh and it has such a unique taste. I can confidently say it's by far my favorite. My husband always goes for linguini with the white clam sauce. Also a winner. I basically drive by this place everyday and today me and my friend went here for dinner. The calamari was amazing and it's fresh, and it was well seasoned. I also had todays soup and for my entree I had the Truffle Mushroom Risotto, you can add meats to it like grilled chicken or shrimp but I got it plain. It was very good and everything was fresh and delicious. It may look small outside but it looks very roomy inside and they do takeouts! They also have live music today when I came. My server Michelle was very fast and was ahead of everything, we didn't even have to ask for boxes and she always filled our water. I have to say, I NEVER thought their pizza was going to be as good as it is! I WILL be ordering from there again. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable. My father in law got us a gift certificate and it definitely came in handy. Especially when you don't want to cook that night. My son who's autistic is really picky about his pizza (he LOVES pizza, he'd eat it everyday if he could) and he LOVED this pizza! And my youngest loves the fries! I'm so satisfied with this place!
