We were visiting for a day and needed to find a place to rest and recharge before heading back. I've stayed at the same lodging in Chandler Arizona a few years back and fell in love. When I saw there was one within the area we were shopping, I knew I had to book it. Made the reservation and decided to see if all possible to check in early. (It wasn't by much) Swasy is the one who greeted me, asked how I was doing and overall made me feel welcomed. She explained the amenities and just by scanning the area, I could tell this was a nice place. As we were making our way up the room, Maria from housekeeping greeted us and let us know if we need anything, please let us know. Arrived at our floor and you can tell how comfy and inviting the bed is. Woke up and decided to take advantage of the gym at 5am. Greeted by Seth as I was helping myself to coffee. There were some items ready in which he added to help myself. As I thanked him, he reminded me breakfast will start at 7am and provided me what was on the menu. Made it to breakfast with Cecilia who works the area. I briefly met her along with Madison when I first checked in. Breakfast was fresh and flavorful Checking out I was greeted by Madison who I recognized yesterday when I checked in. Told her shes pulling a double in which she giggled and has such an infectious smile. Overall I am very satisfied with the awesome customer service especially the attentiveness and acknowledgement. Element Hotels are among my favorites. Very comfortable rooms, and a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator. I was concerned that there wouldn't be anything nearby, (it's an airport hotel) but there were many dining options. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to have a little staycation and time to ourselves so we stayed at the element Sacramento hotel, it was absolutely perfect with a in room fridge, coffee pot microwave free Wi-Fi (if you sign up to become a member of the Marriott family) and I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I did not like about the room is that the pillows were soft and mushy they weren't firm. We got a complementary breakfast in the morning which consisted of, baking quesadilla they have three or four types of breads with peanut butter and almond butters bagels fruit they had a yogurt bar which I really loved and dry cereal. They had orange juice, coffee, cranberry juice. It was a great start to our day. read more

Nice Accommodations my room was clean and it's so wonderful to have a full kitchenette. They do have a fitness room, swimming pool , bbq grills , laundry room and small event rooms available if you need to book for meetings etc. nice lobby area and a little market if you want to purchase some beverages, snacks , toiletries. They do serve beer and wine on tap ask staff to purchase. Happy Hour Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm small bites like cheese and crackers with complimentary glass of beer or wine. Complimentary breakfast in the morning from cereals, breads, yogurt , fruit and a hot dish like egg bites or frittata. Do highly recommend Beds are so comfortable!! Wow! I was not expecting such a spacious and well-equiped room and now I am a big fan of Elements! This was my first visit to an Elements property, and I guess I thought it would be more basic, but it was super nice! The kitchen was adorable with its open shelving with very nice glassware, large refrigerator, too. Shower was amazing. All very modern, super clean. Smelled fresh. Easy to control the temperature of the room. There is a pool, but I wasn't able to use it this visit. Next time. I am a new fan and will definitely stay here my next trip to Sacramento. read more

This is a beautiful hotel, with fantastic front desk service and wonderfully located. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. They've got refrigerators, stove, microwave, all the conveniences you'd ever need. The only negatives are the walls are pretty thin, so when it's time to sleep you hear everything outside, and the shower was not very clean. We found some gnats flying around and quite a few hairs. Aside from that negativity, this is a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend staying here. read more

My wife is a worry wart. We had one of those atmospheric rivers event & needed to travel to the airport early in the morning. The weather people predicted at least an inch of rain or more overnight plus the strong wind gusts. She was worried about the street & highway flooding especially around the downtown low lying areas. Loved this one bedroom suite too despite the soft mattress & nonstop sounding fan that blew on our faces in bed. At least we didn't hear the sounds of the wind outside so my wife got sleep no matter what but I didn't sleep really:( Free airport shuttle starting at 606 AM. They provide coffee, hard boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, bananas & bagels if you're leaving before 630 AM. This hotel is only 15 minutes away. No overhang in the front door area. That wind & rain. Whoa. Craziness. Great hospitality at this hotel. Thanks Bernard & your crew! Highly recommend this hotel to those who need to be closest to the airport. Could not see the lit beam though. Freeway side of the hotel is WAY too loud! Front desk, not willing to assist, one very sleepless night, even with earplugs and a fan on high. Yeah, it's a beautiful hotel, fancy, etc. but it needs to be quiet. I am there to sleep. Spoke with GM Sevannia - she was argumentative and unhelpful. Gave me a phone number to call that only took reservations, hung up on me when I tried to talk with CS agent. She is obviously incompetent! The entire experience was a zero!!! We stayed here one night in September 2022, but it seems like a perfect place for an extended stay. Good hotel, area felt safe, decent front desk service. It seems like a newer hotel with a modern look. Room felt pretty clean. Ample space. Great kitchenette with all the basic supplies you would need. They serve breakfast in the mornings, have a gym and pool. It is across the street from a big shopping area with a Target, other retail stores, and a bunch of eateries. We stayed the night here because we were going to a concert at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland. I did a lot of research into reviews for many hotels in the major Sacramento area and pretty much all of them had low, and very mixed reviews. There were a lot of complaints and concerns about safety, neighboring homeless people, car break-ins, cleanliness, and bed bugs--these reviews were for trusted and popular hotel chains including Holiday Inn and Hilton brands! What's up: We were making our way back from Oregon and decided to stop in Sacramento for the night. I've never stayed at an Element hotel before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Parking: Plenty of free parking available in the lot. Once you check in, you'll be given a parking voucher to be displayed on your car's dash. The main reason we chose this hotel was because we read that they had Electric Vehicle chargers. The J-1772 chargers (ClipperCreek) are located near the front entrance of the hotel. What was even better was that they had Tesla chargers too; they're just around the corner on the east side of the hotel. Yes!! Environment: Walking in, the place looked amazing; super modern and very bright. They had a large sitting area that doubled as their breakfast area and a really nice outdoor space near the pool; there were even BBQ grills and fire tables. Their Motion Fitness Room is located on the main floor behind the check in desk and towards the right (near the elevators). Reservations are required to use the gym (maybe due to covid?) so just walk up to the front desk; we got the entire gym to ourselves! They had a pretty decent selection of equipment like mats, free weights, treadmills, etc. What was ordered: - Studio (2 comfy queen beds with a kitchen. Stove, fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, pots/pans/utensils, and a water purification system!? Wow! Tons of usb charging ports) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. At first, we definitely chose this hotel because they had EV chargers available. Once we got checked in, we fell in love with how awesome this hotel was. Came here for a weekend. We stayed in their king room which had a small fridge, sink, and toaster. Plenty of parking space. The hotel is basically brand new and very clean. We stayed on the second floor, we couldn't hear any of our neighbors. The bed was comfy along with their pillows. A lot of space and the bathroom was huge. They have shampoo and conditioner. They also have tea and coffee along with silverware and plates. I loved how they had a filter water faucet in the rooms too. Comp breakfast which was actually decent. Good selection. If we were to come back to sac we would def stay here again. Also you can log into your Netflix account! It's also dog friendly. read more

We booked a room for just one night, and I am so pleased that we did so here! The lobby was incredibly clean and welcoming, the staff were all super polite and helpful, and even the elevators were spotless. Our room (a suite) was super clean, spacious, well organized, and my favorite - had a filtered water dispenser. The bed was extremely cozy and comfy, and we liked how there were blackout curtains behind the normal curtains (which helped keep our toddler asleep.) Loved it, and we will absolutely be coming here again on our next visit. read more

Before booking a 1-night stay at Element Sacramento I considered a lot of other hotel and airbnb options. The latter were excessively priced (as airbnb generally is for a single night) and each of the other hotel options seemed to have some deterrent, often sounding like they were located in dicey neighborhoods. Element Sacramento won my business based on good reviews, the newness of the property, and my reasoning that an airport hotel would not be in a questionable downtown location. It didn't hurt that Element Sacramento is a Marriott property and I was able to use Marriott loyalty points to pay for my stay here. (Stays are currently running $190-$220/night.) I had hoped that this property would be like the newish Marriott property I'd stayed at in Duluth, Minnesota. It differed slightly, with a somewhat more casual feel, but even in that feel they did a lot of things right. * Very nice breakfast included in price of stay. Eggs and sausage made to order, Greek yogurt with a host of add-ins, fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee drinks. You won't need to eat again until late afternoon. * I didn't use the outdoor saltwater pool but it was very clean and nicely situated. In fact, the whole outdoor space is pleasant, with large gas BBQs on-site to enable guests to bring food in and prepare it on site. * I also didn't use the well-organized fitness facility but it looked as tidy as the pool and patio. * Bicycles available for guests to use. * A market of sorts in the lobby features drinks, Lean Cuisine, and other things to make an in-room meal a reality. * Double blinds in the room to thoroughly block sunlight, a good in-room set-up if you needed to work there, very functional AC in the rooms, and a very welcoming array of staff who exuded warm hospitality. That the hotel sits very close to a busy highway and an airport and that I could hear neither when in my room tells me that some forethought was put into this property. It shows. I have no reason to stay in Sacramento again but if I did, this hotel would likely be my first choice. read more

Watch out for billing issues with this hotel. I was billed after canceling. I asked the front desk to speak to a manager and was told management was busy, so I left my information. I was contacted back by email, and told I couldn't be refunded because I was a no show for my reservation. I called again another day and again was not able to speak to a manager. I emailed and left voicemail. I haven't heard back. I filed a BBB report. My advice, make sure you get reservation and cancellation numbers and double check if you cancel that it was actually canceled. read more

A very nice place to stay, in a shopping center, so you can shop till you drop. They have a free continental breakfast with a grill to order. It was so good. I'd stay here just for the breakfast. The gym is also really nice. It's clean and has an assortment of free weights and machines. The room we had was very clean and extra spacious.I was shocked at how big it was. The lobby has tons of outlets and is set up with Wi-Fi so you can work. I highly recommend staying here. read more

So I thought I did a review for this place and thought I was gonna have to do an update, but doesn't look like it so I'll get right into it. This place has went down hill. It's a lovely location, rooms are nice. Staff is helpful or was helpful. Price is decent. This weekend I stayed there for two nights. I always stay here almost once a month or every other month. Last time I was here the one elevator was working and seems it's still like that. Very odd cuz it doesn't say it's out of service, but hey no big deal. Breakfast is ok, but they juices are so water down I don't know how people are drinking it. OJ is so sour it's a damn shame. Room service never came to clean up the room. Big no no. All that I ignored until my truck and several other vehicles were vandalized. Gas tanks damaged or punctured to steal our gas. Wtf... when I called AAA and tow arrived he informed that this had been going on and in this area. I went to front desk to inform the hotel and the person at front desk couldn't care at all. I asked about why do er get passes to park here as hotel guest if there isn't anyone around patrolling. Make matters worst I came out to my truck at 8pm and this happened. So it wasn't even late. Where is your security. What is going on. Staff as a whole this past weekend was terrible and this hotel lost a customer. I don't want to say avoid this place cuz of one situation, but it's hard to ignore everything as a collective hole to not say it. Choice is yours. read more

At night, you can pay for on draft beer in the lobby. That was also a nice touch. Parking situation was good. My room was great! Kitchenette, flat screen tv mounted on the wall, spacious area with two beds, nice sized bathroom with a nice sized shower. Could've used more water pressure, but it was t bad. This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the most part. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Pros: - Newer hotel, which was clean and honestly best smelled clean. - Saw hotel staff regularly cleaning throughout the day - Pool was perfect to hang out at on a very hot day - Lobby area was clean - Hotel room was so spacious. Would be comfortable for a family of 4 in the room with two queens. - Loved the kitchenette in the hotel room with a good sized fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. Kitchen had pots and pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. - Close proximity to shops and restaraunts - Had security outside at night - We had to wrap a gift for a baby shower and the staff at the front desk allowed me to use scissors and scotch tape after realizing i had forgot to buy some at Target. - After we checked out, my son remembeted he left some goodies in the fridge. The front desk staff personally went up to the room to get them for him. Cons: - Evening staff not so friendly/inviting. She did not have good customer service. - While this hotel offered breakfast, wish there was more traditional breakfast foods i.e. scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, etc. Bagels were individually wrapped which was a good thing, but when i went and gave it to my son, i noticed it had mold. My daughter had a softball tournament this weekend in Elk Grove and this is where we chose to stay. At first because it was an airport hotel I wasn't expecting anything great. In fact I almost cancelled for one more expensive and closer to the sports center. I am SO glad I didn't. It is very clean for a pet friendly hotel that allows dogs! Grounds are well keep, rooms are nice, there was a whole kitchenette, couch and cooked fresh breakfast included. It was surprisingly quiet even though it's next to a busy street. It's also very close to a huge shopping center with plenty of places to eat and shop and it has a pool and looks like bikes you can rent. No complaints here at ALL! I stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend while visiting family in town and had a lovely time overall. This hotel is very clean, modern and new (opened around July 8th) and everything is clean and tidy there. With the current circumstances (pandemic), I never felt unsafe at the hotel and noticed everyone adhered to wearing masks. The executive suite was clean and we had no issues with the room (aside from eco-friendly light switches which we didn't realize require you to insert your room key in the slot by the door to operate all). Pool and grills were open with reservations. Overall area is very quiet - directly across from shopping so it is convenient if you need to pick up food or toiletries. The executive suite room facing the freeway may have a little freeway noise, but it isn't anything disruptive and we were able to sleep well through the night. Also, shoutout to the front desk associate Emilio for great customer service! We had no issues checking in or out of the hotel. Would definitely return for future visits to Sacramento - this is my new favorite hotel. read more

This hotel was great! Has a full kitchenette in the room, beds we comfy and cozy. Bathrooms are spacious and so are showers. Most hotels have tiny showers, but this one was a good size. The hotel was super clean and smelled nice. The gym was big and spacious. Pool area was great! Has 2 fire pits and 2 grills! Staff was nice and polite. This was a great stopover on our way from Seattle to Palm Springs. Decent rate, pet friendly, very clean. The bed was positively plush and the room spacious with a kitchenette. Staff was welcoming. We left early so didn't try the breakfast options but noted they were plentiful. The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is that no one was enforcing mask wearing in common areas of the hotel despite signs being posted up everywhere. The staff themselves often had their masks pulled down and would then correct themselves when someone came in. Other than that our stay was very comfortable. read more

So we booked this hotel last minute as we drove from Oregon to San Diego. We needed a pet friendly hotel that would not break the bank. We were so glad to stay here. First the hotel was spotlessly clean. Second the staff who checked us in brought us foam pillows and helped me find a can opener. The rooms are very nice and big with a small kitchenette. There are pots and pans and a microwave, stove top and fridge. There is also a dishwasher and dishes. We could have comfortably stayed a long time. The fitness center is well stocked. The breakfast we had this morning was great. Oh and they have self service beer and wine in the lobby for a small charge. Thanks for making our stay a good one. I recently stayed at this property and was disappointed with the indifference the front desk personnel treated me with when I needed to check out early due to changes in business travel. The front desk personnel informed me at 830am I could not check out a day early and I would receive a charge. I was surprised because as a member with ambassador status I do not normally have this problem. Irrespective of status, no one should be treated with disrespect. I travel a great deal and was ready to stay here regularly and recommend this hotel to colleagues. I no longer feel the same. read more

This place opened recently and it is so modern and clean inside. The service was great! Helpful and kind, they helped me look for some breweries around to check out. The rooms are clean and I love the look. The mini kitchen is definitely a plus and the bathroom is pretty big. You do need to place your keycard near the door so that the switches will work, to conserve energy . I will definitely come back, I hope they open more element hotels around so cal and other locations. I heard the pool and bbq area are really nice but we didn't get a chance to check it out, plus it was a little chili that weekend. read more

Element is one of the best brands you will find if you are looking for green, refreshing , stunningly creative , beautiful spaces this is your spot. The rooms are spa inspired but green in every corner , they even have a commons where you can get a suite with 4 rooms! The room service is quite fast and I love love love the interior setting. This is going to be my little escape hotel when I feel like having a staycation. The outdoor patio is gracious and has a bbq area and lots of room for people , I think this hotel is going to be a destination, it truly is great to see such design in Sacramento , this is exactly what the area has needed , you should come check this place out you will NOT be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay from being checked in early all the way to our late checkout! Our room was was very clean along with the beds, the kitchenette and the bathroom with a Gigantic shower lol. Had their 2 go breakfast that consist of eggs biscuit n gravy, or egg frittata and pancakes, and baskets and bins filled with fresh fruits, muffins, bagels etc. Had to workout what we ate at the gym room by the pool. After sweating out and freshening up, we enjoyed the cool ac eating lunch and watching a movie. Hate to leave but had to go back to reality lol. I travel to Sacramento often for work. I am also a Marriott Platinum Elite member. There are not many nice hotels under the Marriott umbrella that I can recommend staying at, but this is definitely one of them. The Element Hotel recently opened over summer and still looks brand new. This hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They have a very modern gym and during COVID you can reserve the gym for an hour at a time. For breakfast on the go, the front desk has many options from cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, OJ, milk, and granola bars. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was perfect. I had a living room, kitchen, large bath, and two huge TVs. This is now my go to Marriott brand hotel until a few of the downtown hotels improve on their parking situations. read more

Hello, I've been staying at the Element Sacramento Airport for roughly a week, This morning I had Oxana call my room before check out time asking if I was leaving followed by telling her "NO" I was reserving another night. Then two members of the hotel came to knock on my door demanding they search my room. I AS A LATINA COLORED WOMAN felt extremely racially profiled Seeing as though I've spend lots of money staying at the hotel in question. I asked to speak to supervisor after doing so I received two different stories first being it's because I'm extending day by day and another being it's their "policy" I listened to see if anyone else had gotten any "wellness checks" on the same floor and I was the only one on the whole floor.
