Great location near airport with complimentary shuttle (starts at 6am check with front desk) Parking is free and they do have EV charging station. Front Desk staff helpful with good service. Nice Accommodations my room was clean and it's so wonderful to have a full kitchenette. They do have a fitness room, swimming pool , bbq grills , laundry room and small event rooms available if you need to book for meetings etc. nice lobby area and a little market if you want to purchase some beverages, snacks , toiletries. They do serve beer and wine on tap ask staff to purchase. Happy Hour Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm small bites like cheese and crackers with complimentary glass of beer or wine. Complimentary breakfast in the morning from cereals, breads, yogurt , fruit and a hot dish like egg bites or frittata. Do highly recommend Beds are so comfortable!! Small pets welcome with fee.

Wow! I was not expecting such a spacious and well-equiped room and now I am a big fan of Elements! This was my first visit to an Elements property, and I guess I thought it would be more basic, but it was super nice! The kitchen was adorable with its open shelving with very nice glassware, large refrigerator, too. Shower was amazing. All very modern, super clean. Smelled fresh. Easy to control the temperature of the room. There is a pool, but I wasn't able to use it this visit. Next time. I am a new fan and will definitely stay here my next trip to Sacramento.

My wife is a worry wart. We had one of those atmospheric rivers event & needed to travel to the airport early in the morning. The weather people predicted at least an inch of rain or more overnight plus the strong wind gusts. She was worried about the street & highway flooding especially around the downtown low lying areas. Loved this one bedroom suite too despite the soft mattress & nonstop sounding fan that blew on our faces in bed. At least we didn't hear the sounds of the wind outside so my wife got sleep no matter what but I didn't sleep really:( Free airport shuttle starting at 606 AM. They provide coffee, hard boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, bananas & bagels if you're leaving before 630 AM. This hotel is only 15 minutes away. No overhang in the front door area. That wind & rain. Whoa. Craziness. Great hospitality at this hotel. Thanks Bernard & your crew! Highly recommend this hotel to those who need to be closest to the airport. Could not see the lit beam though. Go Sacramento Kings! Reminiscent of 2002.

We stayed here one night in September 2022, but it seems like a perfect place for an extended stay. Good hotel, area felt safe, decent front desk service. It seems like a newer hotel with a modern look. Room felt pretty clean. Ample space. Great kitchenette with all the basic supplies you would need. They serve breakfast in the mornings, have a gym and pool. It is across the street from a big shopping area with a Target, other retail stores, and a bunch of eateries. We stayed the night here because we were going to a concert at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland. I did a lot of research into reviews for many hotels in the major Sacramento area and pretty much all of them had low, and very mixed reviews. There were a lot of complaints and concerns about safety, neighboring homeless people, car break-ins, cleanliness, and bed bugs--these reviews were for trusted and popular hotel chains including Holiday Inn and Hilton brands! Element Hotels was the ONLY hotel in my search with MANY good reviews. Would recommend and would stay again!

What's up: We were making our way back from Oregon and decided to stop in Sacramento for the night. I've never stayed at an Element hotel before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Parking: Plenty of free parking available in the lot. Once you check in, you'll be given a parking voucher to be displayed on your car's dash. The main reason we chose this hotel was because we read that they had Electric Vehicle chargers. The J-1772 chargers (ClipperCreek) are located near the front entrance of the hotel. What was even better was that they had Tesla chargers too; they're just around the corner on the east side of the hotel. Yes!! Environment: Walking in, the place looked amazing; super modern and very bright. They had a large sitting area that doubled as their breakfast area and a really nice outdoor space near the pool; there were even BBQ grills and fire tables. Their Motion Fitness Room is located on the main floor behind the check in desk and towards the right (near the elevators). Reservations are required to use the gym (maybe due to covid?) so just walk up to the front desk; we got the entire gym to ourselves! They had a pretty decent selection of equipment like mats, free weights, treadmills, etc. What was ordered: - Studio (2 comfy queen beds with a kitchen. Stove, fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, pots/pans/utensils, and a water purification system!? Wow! Tons of usb charging ports) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. At first, we definitely chose this hotel because they had EV chargers available. Once we got checked in, we fell in love with how awesome this hotel was. The amenities were great, the staff were super friendly, and the interior was so pretty; They're also pet friendly. Credit cards accepted.

Came here for a weekend. We stayed in their king room which had a small fridge, sink, and toaster. Plenty of parking space. The hotel is basically brand new and very clean. We stayed on the second floor, we couldn't hear any of our neighbors. The bed was comfy along with their pillows. A lot of space and the bathroom was huge. They have shampoo and conditioner. They also have tea and coffee along with silverware and plates. I loved how they had a filter water faucet in the rooms too. Comp breakfast which was actually decent. Good selection. If we were to come back to sac we would def stay here again. Also you can log into your Netflix account! It's also dog friendly.

A very nice place to stay, in a shopping center, so you can shop till you drop. They have a free continental breakfast with a grill to order. It was so good. I'd stay here just for the breakfast. The gym is also really nice. It's clean and has an assortment of free weights and machines. The room we had was very clean and extra spacious.I was shocked at how big it was. The lobby has tons of outlets and is set up with Wi-Fi so you can work. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the most part. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Pros: - Newer hotel, which was clean and honestly best smelled clean. - Saw hotel staff regularly cleaning throughout the day - Pool was perfect to hang out at on a very hot day - Lobby area was clean - Hotel room was so spacious. Would be comfortable for a family of 4 in the room with two queens. - Loved the kitchenette in the hotel room with a good sized fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. Kitchen had pots and pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. - Close proximity to shops and restaraunts - Had security outside at night - We had to wrap a gift for a baby shower and the staff at the front desk allowed me to use scissors and scotch tape after realizing i had forgot to buy some at Target. - After we checked out, my son remembeted he left some goodies in the fridge. The front desk staff personally went up to the room to get them for him. Cons: - Evening staff not so friendly/inviting. She did not have good customer service. - While this hotel offered breakfast, wish there was more traditional breakfast foods i.e. scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, etc. Bagels were individually wrapped which was a good thing, but when i went and gave it to my son, i noticed it had mold. Check your baked goods before you eat it. -

This is a gorgeous and up-scale hotel with lovely amenities. Parking was very easy. You have the option to valet or self-park in the underground garage. The elevator from the garage leads you directly into the beautiful, modern, and clean lobby. There is an abundance of lounge seating available and a very nice coffee/hot cocoa bar. In the coffee bar, there were syrups and toppings available for use which made it feel much more luxurious. The room was great too. We booked the Premium King Room with the Golden One Center view. The room was spacious and clean. It did not feel cramped or crowded. The bed was comfortable and was furnished with many pillows. The hotel offers almost any bathroom amenities that you can think of if you forgot them. The mini bar is fully loaded, but pricey as expected. I was unfortunately disappointed with the view though. We were placed on the sixth floor and could hardly see the Golden One Center. The window overlooked just the roof of the stadium. We could not see the plaza, city, or much of the stadium at all. If you crane your neck to the sides, you can barely see the Tower Bridge and the State Capitol. We also had some trouble with the AC in the room. It was working early in the night, but despite being set to 65, the heater seemed to have kicked on. It got very hot in the room, and then got very cold on its own even later. Despite this, I would definitely stay at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel again, just without paying extra for a "view."

As someone who always has their dog with them, I naturally headed to the Kimpton Sawyer. I love the Kimpton brand and their super pet friendly policies, so they are always my go-to. When I arrived, I was surprised by the exterior which felt more institutional than boutique but the bigger surprise came when I was quoted a room rate. I travel often and felt that the amount they were asking for a weekday night or two seemed incredibly high. I decided to take a minute and check out some nearby options before committing and within a few minutes I found another hotel, just a short walk away that cost roughly half as much. That price tag of half as much also included a hefty pet fee, which kind of made it even worse in my mind because Kimpton doesn't charge a pet fee, it's so it made the price to discrepancy seem even more egregious. While I was there I did have a meal at the hotel restaurant and after waiting for my order on the patio I was informed that they no longer had my items available. By the time I left I had a sunburn on my neck from sitting outside, waiting, and eating my meal. It wasn't a major issue but it definitely added on to my already disappointing experience. What makes this even more frustrating is that Kimpton has consistently earned my loyalty over the years. This is genuinely the first time one of their properties has let me down. I will still look for Kimpon hotels when I travel because I appreciate their pet friendly approach, but this experience was a good reminder that it's definitely worth doing extra research and comparison shopping before blindly trusting and booking with their brand.

The tall ceilings and quiet rooms--thanks to excellent insulation--made the stay very comfortable. I also liked the different water options available near the front desk, especially since the bottled water in the rooms cost $10 each. The music in the pool area created a great atmosphere, and the jacuzzi was a nice size and very enjoyable. However, the main issue was the mandatory valet fee--even when not using valet service. This makes no sense and feels unreasonable. If arriving by Uber or not bringing a car, there is no justification for being charged valet. The website does not clearly state that valet is mandatory, and there was no prior notice when booking. At check-in, staff simply said, "We have to charge it anyway," regardless of whether the service was used. The fee is also quite high at $52 per night, which adds up quickly for a service not utilized. According to previous reviews, valet fees have increased significantly over the past three years. I would not stay at this Westin Hotels & Resorts location again. The accumulation of mandatory fees makes the experience feel transactional rather than guest-focused. I would much rather voluntarily tip valet staff when I actually use and appreciate their service, rather than be required to pay a substantial fee regardless of need. Overall, while the hotel has many appealing qualities, the mandatory valet charge without clear disclosure or usage was a major drawback.

I booked the room with my CC and then I called them to let them know I would like incidentals to be on my card. So all my parents had to do was get the keys from the front desk upon check in. I added my pops name to the reservation so he can check in with out me. I received an email from Raquel Torres with a Docusign that allows them to put everything on my CC. I filled it all out and sent it back to Raquel and email her back letting her know I filled it out. I never heard back from her so I figured everything was fine. Turns out, when my parents checked in, they had to put their own card on file for incidentals. The Room was charged to their card and they were double billed for parking fees (2 cars each day instead of just the 1). I lost out on the special offer I had with my CC with Hilton and I had to pay my parents back. My parents enjoyed the stay and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff at the breakfast area was very nice and my mom said that she wanted a waffle and she was looking at the waffle maker trying to figure it out and one of the staff members saw and made it for her and brought it to her table. The driveway into the parking lot is right off the freeway exit, so they missed it the first time and had to come back around for it. While my parents enjoyed the stay and the staff was great, the billing mishap was a waste of time for me filling out the paperwork and making the calls to get everything ready for a seamless check in and stay. 3 stars.

This hotel was recommended by folks at Sac State for a conference. It is walkable to Sac State but that is not advised. The parking lot is gated and locked. Sometimes the hotel itself seems locked. It is opposite both freight and light rail lines. And there is a lot of graffiti. Not a great neighborhood. No walkable restaurants though it does have a Grocery Outlet nearby.

It is surprising how different every Residence Inn is, in terms of the kitchen set up. Many have odd assortments of mismatched pots and pans or none at all. The plates, silverware, cups and glasses vary in quality. Here, everything was well-supplied, including hand-washing tools in addition to the dishwasher. The refrigerator was a generous size and the electric range was easy to use. The bathroom area had a configuration I love - hand towel racks at the sink and bath towel racks in the bathroom next to the shower. Towel racks - such simple and mundane but necessary items - are often missing or placed in inconvenient places, such as just above the toilet. The bed lamps on both sides of the bed worked and although one of the outlets for charging cords didn't work, the charging outlet on the bedside clock was functioning . My only complaint was the lack of drawers for putting away our clothes. There were suggestions of drawers scattered in the bedroom, some doubling as bed stands, others serving as open shelvings for books or shoes, still others as cubicles beneath the sink. Try as I might I could not transform them into drawers in my mind's eye.

No clear communication, no urgency, just a lot of standing around and frustration. I understand delays can happen, but this feels excessive and poorly managed. At the very least, some transparency or effort to accommodate guests would go a long way. Not a great first impression at all.
