It was a Tuesday evening and I just finished a long day of work. I was tired, hungry, and did not…read morewant to eat the same leftovers I had been eating for the last few days. I whipped out my phone and found Mila Thai on Uber Eats. Thai food sounded good, I thought. So I ordered a Thai iced tea and Pad See Ew, then went out to pick up my dinner. As I entered the parking lot, I was surprised to see this large parking lot with a few scattered food trucks.  Mila Thai was easy to find as the signage was very visible.  As I walked toward the cart, I saw a dad holding a cute baby girl, so I said hi. The owner, Mod, greeted me at the counter and chatted with me while making my Thai iced tea. During our conversation I learned it's a family operation, the man with the baby was her husband and daughter.  Mila Thai has been in business for about a year, and the food truck is named after their daughter, Mila. She also mentioned they have a website: Milathai.square.site and we could order directly from them to avoid the extra fees.  I'm all in for supporting local business and I will order via their site next time. When I got home, I devoured the food and the iced tea immediately. The Thai iced tea was fragrant and creamy, yum. The Pad See Ew was still piping hot and the noodles were bouncy and al dente. The flavor was on the mild side, as I did ask for mild because I cannot really handle spicy food.  I think it could have used a bit of spice and a little more basil. Overall, I think Mila Thai is very endearing and I'd like to try more of the menu next time.

Concha was amazing and not dry at all. The classic breakfast sandwich was also delicious! They don't skimp out on the portion. There were so many other pastries I also wanted try, but I guess I'll have to be back!
