I frequent this location for one reason, Jennifer the masseur. She easy to talk to, but doesn't require conversation. She gets into the deep tissue without it feeling too aggressive, and she is very knowledgeable about her field of work. I'll also note that the front desk staff and management are always pleasant. When entered the location i was greeted warmly by the receptionist and thought this would be a good session. Now mind you idk much about massages because I've never got one, I was told to just choose areas I want to work on. I explained the areas I want and the areas to avoid as they cause me discomfort. Tried to talk to the therapist and no response, felt like he didn't even want to work or even care about taking care of a patient. Then after that there was an area that I told him to go a little softer on and his INSTANT response was "this is the lightest I go , we can end the session now if you like ?" I thought why would I want to end the session ? Did I ask for such an impossible task? After that he attempted to work on the area I LITERALLY told him not to touch and when told him to avoid he literally gasped. I didn't realize my pain was ironically a trigger point for him ? Now the best part is the session ended after 45 minutes when it should've been an hour and when brought it up was told I would receive some sort of upgrade next time I come, that's funny that they'd expect somebody to come back after being ripped off literally $25. I still left a nice gratitude because the massage itself was great! All in all the receptionist was very nice and did her job well and even the massage therapist was good at his job but the experience made me very salty, and although it was a great massage the experience wasn't the best ! read more

I don't get all the 5 stars. I had a massage here today for first time in a long while (pre-Covid) and the rave reviews are most definitely not deserved. I had the strangest massage of my life here today with JW. I came in with a focused area that I wanted worked out which was barely touched. At the start of the session, the therapist told me that his massages "incorporated stretching", which sounded good, but wasn't. Mostly this involved a lot of shaking of my limbs and joints and telling me to "relax" . WTF is that? I can stretch on my own, and if I wanted more range of motion exercises I I would have sought out a physical therapist or stretched at home. What I really wanted was my sore muscles, knots and trigger points worked out. Also, the 90 min massage I booked was really only 70 min. I won't be back. Also, they made a big deal about having me fill our new paper work, where I indicated and initialed that I did not want my feet touched, but they were any way--my fault for not saying "no"--but it's also the therapists fault too for not reviewing or asking before starting treatment. I will own that wish I had said more during the massage, but how do you say "your technique sucks" when you are practically crying from not getting a real massage? 15 min in, i new that this therapist was not for me---but how does one stop a massage in progress and request a new therapist? I can definitely be communicative when massage pressure is not right--but this was challenging because this "massage" was really really weirds. How does one give feedback on a massage that isn't a massage but more of a stretch session when you are mid way through and hate the person performing your treatment? Especially when your therapist never once asks about the pressure? I left feeling completely stunned and shocked at the unusual service I received, I felt so awkward when I left that I even left a gratuity because I've worked in service, and the cashier pointedly asked me if I wanted to add a gratuity to the card in front of other customers. In retrospect I wish I had complained loudly about the quality of the massage at check out. I will be calling management on Monday morning. read more

The massage I received was absolutely amazing. The pressure was exactly what I asked for and John targeted the areas where I carry most of my stress. Hadn't had a massage in over a decade but decided to try Elements (recommended by a friend) as a birthday gift to myself. Professional atmosphere, essential oils diffusing when you walk in which smells wonderful. My masseuse was Brooke and she took about 5 minutes to go over things with me..what kind of pressure I preferred, any tight spots, etc., and to answer any questions I had. Made me feel very comfortable & welcome. Overall it was a great massage and went very fast. I got the "calm" add on- with Lavender which was lovely. Would recommend Elements and Brooke for anyone looking for a relaxing, therapeutic massage and I hope to make it a regular part of my lifestyle. read more

They steal your money. Call them to find out how much money you have rolled over only to find out they canceled your account for it being non- active. Their policy ( to find out later) is 60 days to use up what you have rolled over. How do you know it's canceled when you do not get notified? It's their word against yours. They say they call you. The problem is, during 2020 most people have rolled over most of their months and their "phone calls" are not tracked like a piece of mail or email so you have no repercussions to regain any of that lost money. I would love to get everyone involved in a class action suit that this has happened to. read more

Due to staffing and my own schedule I have had many therapists, all of which are professional, classy, and great. The office staff are extremely nice and professional. Most recently I have been working with Taffy Wallace my personal favorite. A gentility mix of spiritualism, massage, and conversation. Yeah, I'm one who likes people and loves to talk. She fits that bill perfectly. Not all therapists do. Taffy is a body and mind experience in one. I highly recommend her. Not good is a vast understatement!!! Worst massage I ve ever had. There was not a single moment of pleasure. Infact I ended the massage early because it was so horrible. It felt like the therapist was trying to massage my bones not my muscles. He spent 10 minutes just laying his sweaty palms on my face. So gross. The back massage consisted of hairy arms and not enough oil. I would never suggest this place. The entire experience left me more sore than when I arrived. I purchased two 90 minute massages through groupon for a Christmas gift for me and my partner. The experience was great from the first phone call to the checkout. The staff was very friendly and professional and the office was very clean and well kept. One thing that stood out to me was that they did not treat us differently for using a groupon voucher. I bought a gift certificate for my 17-year-old daughter to get a one-hour massage at this location because she is a serious athlete, and we have been looking for somewhere for her to get massages on a regular basis. The reviews here appeared outstanding, so I called to make sure that my daughter's age would not be a problem. I was told it was no problem, so I bought her a certificate online as a Christmas gift. My daughter called in late December to make an appointment, and she learned that there are only 2 massage therapists who work with underage clients, and they were both booked for the forseeable future. I called again just now and spoke to Angela, who advised me that actually, there is just one massage therapist who works with minors, and she only works weekends. I said, great, my daughter could come 4 or after on a weekend. Angela said Barbara works 9-3. I said, well, then my daughter will never be able to come, and I would like a refund on the gift certificate. Angela said they had never refunded a certificate, and she suggested that someone else use it. I said, no, it was my daughter's primary Christmas gift, and if she can't use it due to restrictive scheduling constraints on the part of the business, I expect a refund. Angela said she did not think they could refund a certificate bought online through the Elements website. I looked at the certificate and the online system and found the terms and conditions, which state that Elements locations can issue refunds by logging into the site. So they clearly CAN issue refunds. I feel like this was very unethical of the business. Bait and switch. I am so disappointed because I really wanted to support this locally owned business. read more

The atmosphere here is amazing- so relaxing and peaceful. The receptionist was kind, helpful, and even offered me some water upon arrival. I had Erin as my massage therapist and was extremely pleased as she was very professional and made my neck/back pain a lot better with just a 60 minute massage. She even gave me some neck stretches to do at home to help ease the pain. just returning from this place. The most shocking experience I have ever had at a massage. I booked a 90 min trigger point and deep tissue massage. I was given an appt with someone called JW. He takes me to massage room, does not bother to ask how much pressure I am comfirtable with. nevertheless i explain my trigger points in upper back. he is abrupt, avoids eye contact and simply informs me he will start from the foot and do my trigger points last. then leaves me to change. returns a few minutes later and starts working on the leg with a LOT of pressure. I tell him about having had surgery on the knee 2 months ago and that its still sore. he does not acknowledge it. then he is putting way too much pressure on the calf and thigh so much that it brings me to tears. I tell him this is hurting. his response" well this is the least pressure I use so let me find someone else" and leaves the room. informs me a minute later that there is no one else. I dress and leave. This was a pathetic experience and no customer should be treated this way. He could've checked about extent of pressure and worked on my problem areas first . In the past massage therapists have been empathetic and accomodating and enquiring about how it feels and if anything needs to be done differently. This was ' my way or the highway". Never again to elements massage at desert ridge. read more

Overall good place but some therapists have absolutely no strength in there hands and didn't even feel like got anything from it. They need to be transparent about there membership versus the partially suspend policy as they charge u for not cancelling in time. It can get very confusing. read more
