My experience at Elements was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is that of a nice, expensive spa on the Strip, but the price is much more affordable!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. I've gone a few times and have tried almost all of the therapists and they are all extremely knowledgeable and not fresh out of massage school. First and last time here. One of the most disappointing massages ever. I booked a 90 min deep tissue massage because I had a gift certificate. I made sure to ask for someone that does deep tissue and I was assured over the phone that my therapist does deep tissue. When I arrived, I confirmed my request for a deep tissue massage, and once I was in the room my therapist confirmed with me that I would be receiving a deep tissue massage.... no misunderstandings right??? WRONG!!! I got the complete opposite of what I requested... a light pressure Swedish massage. Bottom line, do not go here if you would like a serious deep tissue massage. I purchased a Groupon for two 80-minute massages, having never gone to Elements before, and all said, it was a wonderful purchase. Scheduling was super easy as I just emailed the preferred date and time I wished to use the massages (I was able to split and use one for me and one for my boyfriend - a wonderful surprise!!) and scheduled only three days in advance. I emailed my preference at around 2pm, had a response by 5:30 pm, emailed back around 9pm thinking I'd finish it tomorrow but then had a response within 10 minutes. Quick and easy for someone like me, who's in and out of meetings during the week! We came in for our massages early (just because we were in the area) and while the room wasn't ready yet, the receptionist was very friendly and apologetic that the room wasn't ready (we were early - our bad, not theirs!) They still had availability the day off, as well, as I heard several folks call in to schedule same day. We had massages with John and Cody, and they were both wonderful. Professional, very open to feedback and very talented. I had John for a Swedish, low-medium pressure (fantastic) and my boyfriend had Cody for a high-pressure Deep Tissue - also fantastic! The first time I went to this location I absolutely LOVED it. Therapist was one of the best I have had, the atmosphere was nice... just an overall great experience. I was so excited because I felt I had finally found a great place to go with my wife. The next week, I took my wife. It was a last minute decision and the only therapists available were males. My wife and I were both professional massage therapists for over a decade and really don't have a preference. In this particular situation it ended up being a disaster for my wife. From the moment her therapist picked her up, he began touching her inappropriately. First it was putting his arm around her and stroking her shoulder with his thumb... to continually touching her legs and hips as he asked her about what she wanted worked on. My wife was a bit uncomfortable... but the therapist has a European accent, so she just chalked it up to the cultural difference. Once she got on the table though, she realized she had made a mistake. Immediately the therapist removed the blanket, so she was only covered in a very thin sheet. He started leaning closely against her as he worked on her back. When he got to her legs, the draping was extremely loose... to the point that she felt exposed and had to continually grab the sheet and pull it tight. In addition to this, the therapist kept trying to work up her inner legs. She verbally had to tell him to stop, and also again pull and hold the draping tight so as to not be exposed. Then, when it came time to flip over, he moved the sheet so that it felt like he could "catch a glimpse" as my wife phrased it. Here's the thing... after 15 years as a therapist herself, my wife is very comfortable with her body and receiving bodywork. So the fact that she felt violated is a massive deal. I can only imagine what someone unfamiliar with massage would have felt. My wife didn't mention any of this until AFTER we got home... which is probably a good thing for that therapist. I immediately sent the Spa an email explaining the situation and asked that action be taken in order to insure that this didn't happen to anyone else. NO RESPONSE. AT ALL. I called and left a message the following day, then sent another email two days later asking if they had received my messages. NO RESPONSE. I left two more messages on their voice mail... and again, NO RESPONSE. I gave this location the benefit of the doubt and expected them to respond PROFESSIONALLY and handle the matter internally. To not even receive an acknowledgement that they at least got the messages is not just unprofessional, it's insulting. Had I known this was how they were going to treat a legitimate physical complaint, I would have called the police and filed a report against them instead. If you're a woman, and you still decide to go here after reading this, I would caution you to avoid their male therapists at all costs. read more

We had heated debate in which she basically said I was stupid and it's my fault. I have had a number of massages and my massage was just so-so. The big thing was the massage is advertised to be be 55 minutes. My massage was 40 minutes. When I questioned the massage therapist about the time, she said it was 5 minutes to get ready, 40 minute massage, and 5 minutes to clean up the room. My husband and I just had massages here tonight. We had gotten a deal from Living Social and since it's in our neighborhood I thought we'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It's in a strip mall and the when you walk in it's serene with nice music playing. They have a tiny front office but have snacks and water. The massage itself was great, I had a bunch of sore spots and had my therapist changed up the pressure whenever I asked and she always asked if I was doing ok. I wish the massage tables had a warmer underneath them. Every time they adjusted the sheets it was noticeably colder. A warmer table would make the massage even better. I have had chronic back pain since I ruptured a few discs in my spine about 15 years ago. I always get a massage when it gets really bad. I went to Elements Massage on Friday because my back was very bad. I got a therapist named Liz who did an excellent job. I left feeling like a new man. Came here using a holiday gift card for a couples 90 minute massage. The staff was very friendly but seemed a little frantic at times. My partners masseur walked into me at one point and politely apologized. I wished they had explained to my partner as well what to expect as well because it was his first time so at first it wasn't the most therapeutic. That being said, both masseurs did a really good job. We had Ricky and George. The session didn't feel like 90 minutes because we were so relaxed. The bed was heated which was nice but the room was a bit chilly. I'd go back for the same masseurs again if given the chance. read more

Elements has a very high turnover of massage therapists so you never know who you are going to get. When I find a therapist I like, I like going to the same person as they get to know your body and what you need. I ended up cancelling my membership because the massages were always someone different and just alright. THEY ARE STILL CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD! I have called over and over to get them to reverse the charge 2 months after I cancelled, and the only person who has the authority to do it is never in there, can't be called, won't call you back, etc. I ended up having to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and block any future charges. Shady business practices and so so therapists with a high employee turnover = no bueno. read more

Worst massage I've ever had. The lady who did my massage started off 5 minutes into the massage about her son and his she gets him to do homework. That conversation lasted 10-15 min. The the last 15 minutes of the massage she tells me about a movie I should watch and goes on to give me a shirt description of the movie. Do they know you come to get a massage to relieve tension not carry a 30 minute conversation? To make matters worse, they charge you for 60 minutes but you get a 50 minute massage! Plus they expect you to tip them $30+. Right. I've found gem for my massages. Never going back here. I guess I learned not everyone is cut out to be in the massage business. read more

I am someone who gets massages fairly frequently. I had a massage with a male who was trained in Paris. I repeatedly said I was there for a Swedish Relaxation massage and he continues to poke and prod and make me tense waiting for the next jab. Worst massage of my life. read more
