I took advantage of Elements massage special intro rate to give the place a try. The atmosphere is contemporary and welcoming. The massage tables are heated, which is nice. My massage was perfect, except for the fact that my therapist was a little late and ended a couple minutes early, which I find annoying. Before my massage I was given a questionnaire and told about the Elements Wellness Program which is a is a month-to-month membership that gives each client one massage per month at a discounted rate. When ready to pay, I was asked if I wanted to join the program. I refused to join and then was told my massage therapist recommended another visit in a month. I think reminding me once about the program when I leave is acceptable, but adding the therapist recommendation (how surprising a month later :)) when I already said I am not interested is less than subtle. One star for administrative issues, like the online booking system allowing you to book appointments that are actually not available as shown, which means you will get a call from the front desk, which makes you question why the online system is available in the first place. Massages are supposed to be relaxing experiences, but Elements Massage (Louisville, CO location in my case) really make it a hassle and an overpriced ripoff. Here's my story: I received a gift card for a one-hour massage ($119 value) as a holiday gift in December 2023. I was excited to get a massage but I thought, I am really busy and stressed right now with work, so I will wait until I get a break with work and then I can really enjoy the massage. It was not until the end of June that I had the time to book a massage. Here's where the hassle began... Registering Online Doesn't Work (and you have to speak to a receptionist who upsells you): I went through a lengthy process of filling out detailed personal information (just to book a massage??) including health, contact, emergency contact, billing, and 7 pages of consent forms. When I finally got to the submit page, I was greeted with an error message that said my email address was already in use for another account, and that I would need to call them on the phone to schedule the massage. When I got home from a long, busy day of work, I called and was able to schedule the massage. I explained that I had a gift card for a one-hour massage, but the receptionist encouraged me to upgrade to a 90-minute massage. "Whatever, fine" I thought. So, I went along with the upsell. Then, the receptionist told me she would send me some forms for me to fill out before my appointment. She texted me the 7-page consent form again and another invasive questionnaire that asked things like my occupation. (what does that have to do with me getting a relaxing massage?) Daily Spam Marketing Emails (that you can't remove yourself from): Ever since I registered for my massage appointment, I have received daily marketing emails from Elements Massage. I have unsubscribed 3 times and responded and told them I did not want to receive any more communication. To this day, I continue to receive daily spam emails from Elements Massage. I have had no choice but to block them from my email account. The appointment: Finally, my appointment day arrived, and I was pleased to be greeted by friendly staff and a clean, peaceful environment. The massage was very relaxing and my therapist, Amy, was skilled and professional. After the massage, blissed-out and relaxed, I went to pay... Deceptive Charging Practices: When I handed the gift card to the cashier, she informed me that it was no longer worth the full price of the $119 one-hour massage and that the value of the card was now $59.50. When I asked why, I was told that the full value of the gift card was only valid for 6-months from the date of issue, and that my gift card had expired days earlier, and therefore it was only worth half-value. When I said, "That is really lame." The cashier said, "Yes, it is." And, to her credit, she gave me a $20 dollar "new customer" discount (which she really should have given to me anyways because it was my first time as a customer at Elements Massage). The receptionists also said they tried calling the owner, but he wasn't picking up, so there was nothing they could do. So, I ended up having to pay $40 extra because of their deceitful fine-print gift-card tactics. Furious and frustrated, I left Elements Massage with more tension in my body than when I went in. To add insult to injury, two days later, I received a call from Elements Massage. When I listened to the voicemail, I expected it to be the manager/owner apologizing to me for the gift-card ripoff. No, it was just one of the receptionist with a follow-up sales call to see if I was ready to schedule another appointment. What a joke. For the amount I was ripped off ($40), I could go to any number of massage spas in the area and receive a comparable massage (without having to fill out 7-pages of legaleese in triplicate) and without feeling like I was ripped off. Conclusion: Let me be clear... I will NEVER patronize Elements Massage ever again. What a horrible experience. read more

I've had 2 massages with Chris, as has my spouse. We agree that Chris is an intuitive, strong, experienced masseuse, and very, very good at what he does. My husband has also had a massage with another masseuse, Michelle, perhaps, and said it was also very good. We've been pleased with our shared monthly membership, and enjoy the opportunity to treat ourselves. The check-in/out is okay, and the lobby is comfortable. We've not had any issues that others have commented negatively about in recent reviews. We've had only positive experiences. read more

I wish they were more transparent with the actual massage durations. I've taken numerous 1-hour, 90 mins & 2-hour massages and they never last that long. 1-hour is more like 45 minutes and 2-hour is more like 90 minutes. I believe it's misleading advertising a 1-hour massage instead of 45 minutes, etc. That just leaves me unhappy as a client, always thinking I am going in for a full hour and not getting it. read more

I wanted to give a shout out to Dina, an expert massage therapist, at the the Louisville location. I get massages not for relaxation, but instead to help with chronic back pain. Dina is extremely talented and helps me with pain management. She goes extremely deep; especially where I ask her to massage. She leaves me pain free between massages and I'm so grateful for her! I cancelled a monthly subscription when covid first closed anything. Now, the owner says I can't come back, because "of the way that went down". Naturally I was upset when they told me this. It was an absolute shocker. I guess it's OK, as I have not found anybody at the facility that knows how to do deep tissue. The last therapist I had was abhorrent, and was singly one of the worst massages I have ever had. Do not do business with these people. In Janine's reply, she stated that "You have been unkind to my staff and swearing at them". However, she invited me back to get a massage today (9/23/21) at 2:30pm. She further stipulated that I have to pay "full rates", and would not extend the subscription price to me and my wife. I said to the person that called, why should I pay full price, if there is no issue with me coming back in. She said it was the owners preference. At hearing this, I was livid, and I responded with a colorful language conveying my response quite adequately. To Janine: if you were afraid that I was going to be unkind to your staff, why did you want me to come in and pay full price? For the price paid for a 90 min massage, I would not return here. The massage was decent (three stars if that's all I were rating this place on), but the overall experience was canned and constantly reminded me I was at a chain store with a chain store business model. The emphasis on selling me a membership, getting my credit card number, and committing me to another appointment very shortly after I just received my first massage here was off-putting to say the least. I had just finished my massage and it was already paid for including tip; I wanted to finish my water and leave, but I was called by the front desk person to talk. That's when she started pressuring me with sales. Not cool. I wanted a massage not financing options for a used car. I give their front desk credit for acknowledging feedback I left them directly as a result of my experience, but there was no real accountability for the fact that I had a bad experience, just an "I'm sorry you don't like the way we roll," response. Their business model is to keep selling even when you are trying to enjoy your "wellness experience". I will not return - there are many local options for massage and wellness and, frankly, at $99/hour, I can get a better experience many other places. read more

Updating from 1 to 2 stars for the effort to correct it. I don't like leaving a poor review but I think I've had just about enough of the front desk staff. I have been using the membership program since last summer and have thoroughly enjoyed getting massages from Melody. She talks through ways to improve flexibility and tightness and works with the client on their individual needs. She has made a tremendous difference for me in relaxing stressed upper back muscles. However, I have struggled at times with the front desk staff, especially in terms of scheduling. While they haven't been perfect, they are almost always flexible and friendly. That changed today. I have been waiting for my next massage which was scheduled for Tuesday. I scheduled it specifically after my last appointment and was very specific about it being on a Tuesday, which is the best day of the week for me to get to this location. I had a voicemail waiting for me after work today telling me that they had the day and time wrong and that I needed to return their call. After touching base with them, it became very clear that it was my fault they had the appointment details incorrect and they expected me to come in anyway. They made zero effort to admit mistake, apologize or fix the problem. To really show they don't care about customer service, they didn't attempt to fix the problem after I asked immediately to end my membership and I even wrote on the form that it was because of the front desk staff. I was regular customer of Elements massage before pandemic. Not sure if they were closed during pandemic. When they went back in business 2021 , I got lot of emails to get the membership and I did. Me and my husband both were enjoying massage and therapist were quite good. Sunday we had massage scheduled and got a call for reschedule around Sunday noon (not 24 hours before) I picked up and scheduled it for Monday. We realized later its bit of struggle to work this time out so we did call to reschedule appointment within same week with same person and they asked 35$ fees. This is ridiculous. We did plan massage for weekend what works best for out schedule. We tried to accommodate changes being considerate but when we requested the same response was unexpected. They asked for cancellation fees, when it was not even cancellation but just a reschedule. Front desk person was quite rude dint care even if we are taking off our membership. I don't generally give bad reviews, but super pissed with this experience. I believe massage should relieve your stress, this place is giving me stress. read more

Dragged myself in, probably a bit disheveled and was confronted with a woman (Kate?) who eyed me head to toe, pursed her lips and asked if I was lost. Huh? Lost? No, scheduled an appt. I was told I had no appt, and no one from that location had spoken with me. Was she kidding? I tried to give her details of the recent phone call and scheduled appt but was cut off by her tirade of how much money she makes in this business and how it includes "select clientele ". I have been coming to Elements Massage off and on for about a year now. I will say that I had been having a good experience with this company up until this point. I will also add that my negative experience was with the customer service, NOT with any of the massage therapists. They were wonderful, friendly and professional. I had received an email that told me I had a 10.00 off Birthday Reward for Elements Massage. I was a member with the Louisville Location and naturally assumed that I received this email as a result of my membership with them, since they ask your birth date on the paperwork. To celebrate, I booked a long massage (two hours) and came in and received the massage. Afterwards when I went to pay I tried to use the email and was informed that it was for the Boulder Location only (a location i had not been to in at least 2 years). The woman at the desk was trying to be very nice but could only tell me that there was nothing she could do, and that their location did not have Birthday Rewards. I left it at that. The next day I received an email from their location (this time I double checked the address at the far bottom of the email) advertising exactly that. A Birthday Rewards sign up. I called and spoke to the woman at the front desk again and she said the same things as before, that since they are franchised and independently owned, that they would not honor the 10.00 off coupon. I was passed on to their manager Crystal, and when put on the phone with her, all she said was "hello" and I responded "hello", and then silence. She did not offer to help me, she did not ask what the situation was, she sat there silently on the other end of the phone. I asked her if she was aware of what the situation was and had she spoken to the receptionist, and all she said was "yes" and then again silence. Seriously, I have worked in customer service for ten years now and I have never experience customer service that bad. I have also never treated an unhappy customer that poorly. It was very clear that Crystal had no motivation or interest in fixing the situation or keeping me as a customer, which is very unfortunate considering the fact that she is the manager. I said, "well would you like me to explain the situation again?" and shortly thereafter she requested that I "prove"(my words, not explicitly hers) what I was saying about receiving the email by forwarding it her so she could see it for herself. I agreed to do so and we got off the phone. What has followed through emails has been that she conceded that they would honor the birthday reward, but that for their location, the reward is free aromatherapy and that to redeem that reward i need to come in and pay for ANOTHER massage in order to do so, which quite frankly is completely beside the point. What is more, this discrepancy has not been addressed by her in the slightest. At this point, I am fed-up and I will definitely not be coming back here again. Seeing as Elements massage is a brand (albeit franchised, but a brand nonetheless) meant to guarantee AND benefit from a degree of reliability and recognition between locations, I am very disappointed that the location I had a membership with would not honor a small coupon that meant a lot to me, simply because it was from a different nearby location. They are more than happy to benefit from my booking a massage at their location as the result of a differing locations email/advertisement, yet not willing to honor the coupon, in light of the fact that I did not scroll to the bottom of the email to see the address of a location i have not frequented in 2 years. The quality of the service throughout the interaction was poor enough to convince me that supporting them as a business is quite simply, not worth it. read more

I absolutely love Elements Massage in Louisville! Every time I have been in, they have taken the time to understand what I am looking for and pair me with the perfect therapist. I play a lot of sports, and sometimes I need a sports related massage and sometimes I just need something more relaxing. Either way I know they have it covered.! I called to book my massage and the person I spoke with scheduled me with a therapist who she thought would be a great fit for the type of massage I was looking for. She found a time that worked well with my schedule and got me booked for a weekend appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff who made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The best part though was my massage therapist. She asked me some questions before the start of the session and gave me an absolutely fantastic massage. Really disappointed in this place. Tried to make and appointment using their phone number and for hours of trying all I ended up with was unable to compete the call. Checked the number on their web site and it was the number I was calling. Loaded their app mindbody and what a terrible user experience and underlying design. After struggling with the app ( I design apps for a living ), was finally able to make an appointment and received a confirmation. My wife shows up and they have cancelled the appointment because we did not prepay How the h*ll would I know to prepay! The app didn't tell me. I cannot reach them on the phone.
