Any pains or areas that I felt needed special attention? He did an excellent job on working out some kinks in my shoulder area. And worked out a slight flare up of my sciatica. Was going here for a few years, always had a good experience but starting noticing the "one hour massage" is actually not a full hour. The therapist would come out to get usually after the hour started, then you need to change and they would always be done before the hour finished. I was willing to let that go. Then I started noticing the lobby area deteriorate, and the door was broken for months. The last straw for me happened last year. My wife and I got a total of 6 gift cards. When I used my first one I noticed there was an expiration date. When I used the gift card the woman said, "you can use this one but we won't honor any others." No apology, no willing to work something out, no call from the manager, no nothing. They knew exactly when the cards were issued, so they knew when they would expire. Maybe they could have warned us they were about to expire, but nope. I have been a customer for many years- including the Wellness Program. For personal reasons that I shared with the front desk, I could not provide an updated card for the monthly deduction via phone or computer once the freeze on my account was up. I waited for my next massage to do so and shared the information. I was told though that I had lost all of my banked sessions and couldn't get them back despite reactivating my account. This was worth over $600. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The texts and email I received as reminders just encouraged me not "to let it lapse". Again- I have no recollection of signing something that would allow some business to keep my money for NO SERVICES RENDERED. I usually get massages all the time. At first glance, this place is nice. Very clean and the staff is pleasant. The woman who did my message Jeanne was very nice. The only complaint I have is that she was only able to do a level 2 pressure and no one told me up front. When I asked her to go harder she said NO and she can only do a level 2 pressure. By that time I was already 20 minutes into my message. It was not her fault but the staff in front should have said something or asked if that was okay. I was well overdue for a message and to think that I booked a 90 min massage with someone touching me way too light was a bit annoying. I didn't want to be disgruntled about it so, I made the best of the message. I thought I would have been flipped twice with and work on any stress areas with the amount of time I had but instead, the last 20 to 30 minutes the therapist flipped my ears back and forth and pressed a few pressure points.  Yes, I was relaxed because of the eucalyptus oil and tranquil environment. As for the message if I liked soft touch messages It would have been perfect but instead, I still felt stiff and desperately in need of a good massage when I left. Not to mention my stress points were even more in pain.  I would not trash them yet. Elements massage was okay. I would only return to use my Yelp coupon. Unfortunately I checked in only after I left, reasons why I'm not a Yelp elite yet lol, rookie move. So yeah after checking in I got a deal to receive complimentary aromatherapy. The environment was clean and zen (sorry took no pics), I had Brenda... who I felt was pretty short with me. She did a good job with the massage but hunny, if I paid for a 60 minute massage, I expect 60 minutes of giving these muscles of mine some TLC. I was on that table for 51 minutes. I would have benefitted so more with that extra 9 minutes. Not cool. She also left the room so abruptly, didn't say the massage ended or asked me what I thought.... Just walked out saying "I'll grab you some water and give it to you out the door" ... i was confused? I laid on that heated table for an extra 5 minutes and then got dressed and tipped her a good 15 percent... not getting 20 from me hunny. I really wanted to like this place. I went once before as a gift from my husband and it wasn't memorable but I didn't hate it and I liked the convenience of location. I'm 32 weeks pregnant. I went for a prenatal massage because my back has been absolutely killing me as well as my knees (God help me with 8 more weeks of this!). I'm gonna partially blame this on the pregnancy hormones, but it was an awful experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because I'm so big, I had trouble getting situated on the table. I wanted to treat my aunt to a much deserved massage and I was long overdue for one as well. My aunt opt for a swedish massage and was very happy with after her session. Although I started after her, I somehow finished before her...hmmmm. Anywho I knew immediately when she floated out into the wait area that she had a great massage! It just didn't feel like a professional massage. The use of lotion as opposed to essential oils on my skin was a big negative. Lotion has a tendency to dry out quickly and when the lotion started to dry out the therapist was rubbing my skin with her dry hands... not a good feeling. Also, the constant sound of the lotion pump when she did decide to replenish is quite distracting. To further elevate the experience I would suggest having an essential oil mister in every room. Lastly the walls are paper thin and each time someone enters or exits a room adjacent to where you are it sounds like they are entering your session. It would be extremely beneficial if it were more than sheet rock separating the various rooms. On the bright side everyone was very nice and polite, the space was clean and my temperature was taken at the door - made me feel comfortable given the pandemic, that is why I am giving 2 stars as opposed to 1. read more

I use to really love this place. I was so glad I found it. The staff are wonderful. I bought the monthly membership that allows you to purchase discounted massages in advance and you have a year to use them. They charge your credit card automatically and monthly. I realized as a busy nurse trying to practice self-care, I wasn't going to use all the services I was purchasing in advanced. I canceled my membership and had about 5 massages that I needed to use. I was told to switch them to gift certificates and that they would never ever expire. If I had left them as pre purchased membership massages, they would expire in one year. After about a year or so, I went and had a massage and went to use my gift certificate. I had 3 left at this point. I was told they were no longer accepting the gift certificates and I had to pay. So $100 massage ended up costing me $200. I also had 2 more certificates left that are now garbage. Dishonest and disrespectful. I get it, the pandemic hurt a lot of businesses and economy is bad, but victimizing your customers is not really the way to go. So, I would advise that if you continue to frequent this buisness, DO NOT purchase the membership as they are untrustworthy. Only pay for your services once rendered. read more

I will admit that my discovery of Elements Massage was based on my cheap-assery. I was trolling Amazon Local looking for an inexpensive couples massage for my girlfriend and myself. I found a deal for this place, complete with cookies, and I am so glad that I did. We had big plans that day. It was Valentine's Day (observed) for us. We were going to go get a nice lunch, walk around the Roosevelt Field Mall for a bit, and go and get a nice couple's massage to unwind on one of the few days we were able to spend together. Too bad it was a holiday. The traffic was so bad we couldn't get to the mall, couldn't make the restaurant for lunch, it was terrible. I was pissed. I live 15 minutes from Roosevelt Field which in turn is 10-15 minutes from Rockville Centre. I spent almost 2 hours in the car that day. I was worried we would miss our appointment, someone else would get our spot, my money would be wasted and the day ruined. Then we got there. If you've ever had a moment where a gesture you'd otherwise hardly notice completely take you by surprise, you'll understand what happened when we walked in. I entered the lobby hating the world, expecting everyone in it to be as volatile as I was at that moment. I put on my best I'm-not-angry-at-you face when I told the receptionist of our reservation. I was then completely disarmed when she replied in a most soothing voice "of course, have a seat, would you like some water?" Simple kindness goes a long way, and I immediately began to relax. We were asked to wait the exact amount of time for me to go from fuming to chilling. We were brought into the couple's room and were treated to a wonderful hour of warm relaxing massages. The treatment both my partner and I received was HORRIBLE! First we showed up at 7:55pm for our 8pm and 8:15pm massages, Dorothy let's me know guests cannot wait inside due to COVID reasons. I thought okay that's fine and replied with can you just give me a call when we can come in. So it gets to 8:10pm now and I still have not received a call so I call them and Dorothy goes on to say our appointments were set for 8:15 and 8:30 which is a lie. Dorothy then rudely proceeds to argue with me about the time I booked my massages for and I had to remind her I am the paying customer and I know what time I booked for. However, even if the appointment had been changed we were standing outside just waiting so a courtesy call would of been nice to inform us of the new updated time but of course the lack of customer service and communication skills they posses did not allow this to happen. This was an error on Becky's end. (Who initially scheduled the appointment) despite me confirming multiple times what time our appointment was set for. I also had to call about 10 times before I received my COVID screening questionnaire that would enable me to get my massage. Every time I called someone said they would send it over but never did so finally I decided to stay on the phone until I received it. This was an hour before my massage and I had been calling all day. So we get our massage and we are leaving they then let me know my massage was covered and not my partners which did not make any sense at all because I had at least 5 sessions banked due to it being a while before I last went. So I explained this to Becky and she still charged me. So I paid and then confirmed with my home location I have 4 sessions left, so they then had to process a refund for the massage. She clearly did not know how to work the system because I don't know how she could not see that. THEN to top it all off my partner let me know while he was waiting for my massage to finish one of the ladies then asked him to wait outside in the RAIN! I understand the COVID measures but he was well more than 6ft away from them and the workers computers are not even 6ft apart. He proceeded to let them know I had the car keys and he was not going out in the rain. I called to speak to the manager multiple times and Breed pretended she was the manager before slipping up and saying the manager was out until Monday. What kind of customer service and treatment was this? I have never been treated like this at any other Elements I have been to and I have been going for years! Despite everything going on in the world I simply cannot help but to wonder if we would have received a different type of treatment if we were caucasian rather than African American. I went to Elements for a couples massage as a surprise for my fiance. I initially called to see if it were possible to have a couples massage with him receiving a deep tissue massage and I receiving a prenatal massage. I was told it was absolutely possible. The receptionist I spoke to broke down pricing, explained that I would have the option of lying on my side with a pregnancy pillow and just requested a credit card to hold the appointment. I was NOT charged until our massage was completed :) We entered through the front (located on Sunrise Hwy), not the back entrance which you have to ring a bell to enter and we were greeted by a very kind gentleman who led us down a long, dimly lit hallway which I actually liked because my fiance was absolutely clueless LOL! We walked passed a couple of rooms and were seated in the main lobby which had tea, mints and water available as you waited. We filled out some paperwork since it was our first time and waited just a few minutes since we were a bit early for our 1 o'clock appointment. Afterwards, we were greeted by our massage therapists who were so sweet. I can't remember the name of my fiance's massage therapist but Susy (my prenatal masseuse) was a joy. Bought an Amazon local deal for a couples massage and chocolate chip cookies (it was a valentines day special). The room was very nice, dim and I loved the heated bed since it was freezing out. My massage was just okay. My massage therapist didn't speak much & she was a little rough. I wish I could go back in time & tell her to ease up a bit. I guess that's my fault but I was in pain for the rest of the day. What made me feel uncomfortable was my man's therapist. The entire time she was making little comments & jokes which I didn't appreciate. She was a little too friendly. After scrolling through a bunch of yelp reviews, I had decided on Elements Massage because of their great offer for first time clients. Can't go wrong with sampling a massage with a great discount. I had never gotten a massage before, and wasn't sure how I would like it honestly, and didn't go in with any expectations. I had to schedule my (hot stone) massage two weeks in advanced because they were booked up. The place was quite crowded and busy when I got there, so they obviously get a lot of business. The room itself was so nice, comfortable, upscale and had a calm vibe to it with great background music. My masseuse was very nice and she told me to definitely let her know if I wasn't liking something, felt like I needed more/less pressure, etc. During the massage I definitely felt comfortable letting her know how everything was feeling and she was extremely accommodating to my requests. I was confused about the pricing upon payment and the staff very nicely explained to me why the price was what it was. Even when I got home I still felt I was overcharged and called back, the staff was again very nice to explain my receipt to me (I was wrong). Discussing pricing and money can often be awkward and can turn into a hostile conversation, and it was anything but. My first massage was amazing, and the quickest hour of my life. It was amazing to clear my mind, focus on myself and be at complete peace for an hour- which is very hard to do. The staff was unbelievably amazing and accommodating.
