The pros: It's brand new, clean, has good customer service, and the massage was nice. The cons: My masseuse was sick. I have never had a prenatal massage before, this was a gift from my husband, and I didn't realize how hard they are to book because no one has any appointments. Typically I go to those Asian salons where for $40 they walk all over you. Prenatals are.....much more delicate. Don't get me wrong, the experience was lovely and relaxing, just different from what I'm used to. They have a prenatal membership for a monthly massage at $89 which is a great price. I'd go back but would appreciate someone who isn't sick working on me - I'm pregnant, if I get sick it can be bad. I also didn't feel like I got the full hour because she kept having to leave to cough outside of the room (yes, she wore a mask). That said, she was very nice and I did enjoy the massage. I just wish they wouldn't throw a pregnant woman in a 1:1, hands-on room with someone who may or may not be contagious. read more

Awful experience ... I paid for an hour deep tissue massage . I didn't get deep tissue, idk what technique that was . My masseuse felt like a used car salesman - spending a chunk of my hour massage hands off trying to give me an anatomy and physiology lesson to validate why I needed subsequent sessions .. I'm a medical professional who has dissected an human cadaver and I couldnt stomach his speil. i also didn't go there to have a conversation , like please don't talk to me just massage me. I can't stand when you pay for an hour of hands on massage and they fool around and cut corners to spend less time hands on. what an awful disappointment. This is more a warning than complaint. I have had 2 very rough massages here now. I was gifted the second and thought I'd give it another try. I had more pain afterwards than when I went in, for days, both times. Including a throbbing headache. I believe the intention is to help, but I would suggest 2 things: if you want a relaxing gentle massage be very clear about that. And be prepared for overcompensation if you have a problem area. For the therapists: PLEASE ask BEFORE you use anything other than your hands. Both times devices were used before I could weigh in. And definitely let people know that the massage could leave them in pain or with a headache BEFORE you begin any deep rough massage techniques. read more

When I booked my appointment, I was not informed that all of my sessions had expired. There was no communication at the time of booking to let me know that I could no longer use the massages I had paid for. When I went to leave a gratuity, I was told that I had to pay the full price and could not use any of my prepaid sessions. I would not have booked the appointment if I had been informed about this upfront. The communication and customer service were very poor. read more

Loved my massage with Kim. At least I think I did as I fell asleep through half of it as it was so relaxing . You know its a great massage when you're a struggling to stay awake. Overall typical massage place, similar to Hand & Stone and Massage Envy. Very clean, nice staff, good massages. When I checked in on Yelp I got a free essential oil upgrade, no complaints there. Only thing that upset me was that they up-charged myself and my fiance $10 a piece for a couple massage. Like what? Why? And didn't tell us beforehand. I wasn't too thrilled with that one. Don't listen to Mary S.'s ridiculous review. Elements is solid at this location and I have been a member since they opened. As far as the massages go, you might have to give a few therapists a try before you find the therapist that's right for you. You may love them all because they are very talented and experienced in their techniques. There's no upcharge for different modalities like some other places that will charge for pregnancy, deep tissue, or medical. I have paid upwards of $160 for an hour medical and still prefer my sessions at elements. As a member I pay $80 per hour massage and $120 for a 90 min massage. Although gratuity is not included in the membership price, I always remember to tip my therapist well because for the work that they do. IMO they deserve the whole rate for the time and whatever gratuity they are gifted, but they don't get that so tipping is a way for someone to show appreciation. For almost a whole hour or more a massage therapist is working on you physically It's, not just talking or writing notes, or cracking a few joints, or showing a few exercises. If you value your health, and value massage as part of your wellness, the price is very reasonable.. It's pretty sad if you're going to complain about having to tip. Go to a massage parlor instead. I have gone to massage parlors for $40-50 btw, those places leave you sad to part with your money, and sometimes a few bruises and new pain. People go here to save a buck or two, but you get what you pay for. The front desk receptionists at bellmore location are awesome. They're friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. If you need help with finding the right therapist they will make it happen. Elements at Bellmore follows all covid protocols, I have never been next to people upon entering. The spa is beautiful, simple and elegant. The rooms are dim and the music calming. By the time I am on the table my anxiety starts to disappear. Everything is clean from the entrance to the bathroom. I have seen most of the therapists at this location and love them all tbh. I see Lionel the most because of his unique techniques I leave with less pain and tension. I have seen Linda who is amazing. Donna is also very experienced with very gentle soothing hands. If you're looking for a solid place that incorporates massage both for wellness, and for pain/injuries, you have found the right place. Whether you just need to relax, or have to rehabilitate a shoulder injury, there is a therapist or two or three here that can address those concerns. read more

So very happy I found Elements. On a whim I made an appointment because I work down the street. I have to agree with review from Gordon D. I booked an appointment with Lionel and it's one of the best massages I ever had. I suffer from RA and ankylosing spondylitis and the RELIEF I got was better than any muscle relaxer or anti inflammatory medication I have taken. The atmosphere and service were wonderful. I've been a member of Elements Massage of RVC since it opened some 7 years ago I have enjoyed all of the benefits of my membership, great massage, amazing staff, convenient location, an overall wonderful experience. Well now there is Elements Massage of Bellmore which I had the good fortune of visiting last week at the direction of the staff at Elements RVC, my normal masseuse was on vacation so I took a leap of faith and booked an appoint with Lionel, wow I was totally blown away it could have been the best massage I've ever had, and the new studio was just as warm and cozy as RVC which was very calming . Thank you Elements Massage now I never have to worry about where or when I've got two great locations to choose from. read more

This review is only for the scheduling issues. I was never able to complete my massage. I booked a couples massage and was called 50 minutes prior to the start time and informed one of the therapists canceled and no one else could substitute. I was on the road already and 50 minutes is nowhere near enough notice especially when customers are forced to provide 24hrs cancellation notice. read more

I do not recommend this business. I signed up for monthly sessions after being gifted a session for Mother's Day in 2021. Being optimistic, I agreed and signed up. However, as life would have it I wound up in the hospital and unable to use my sessions. In December 2021 I contacted them and advised I needed to cancel my package and was told I could convert those months into gift cards. The next appointment I had was May 2022 (also for Mother's Day) and used one of my banked "sessions" with Lionel (he's amazing btw). Subsequently, I called in August 2022 to convert my remaining 5-6 sessions into gift cards and was told they expired and to call Jerry/Dianne in RVC. I spoke to Jerry a few days later, she activated 1 session but said my other sessions were expired. I rebutted explaining the backstory and lack of info about the expiration timing from any person in Bellmore. She asked to call me back and a few minutes later she did and said unfortunately nothing else could be done. I made her aware of this Yelp review at the time of our call. I would go elsewhere for massage memberships with a more flexible policy. read more

Very soothing atmosphere . I regularly have been getting massage for awhile at another chain and followed my massage therapist here when I found out that they were leaving their old location. Karen is very professional and gives a great deep tissue . When you find someone that works you want to stick with them. I have tried a few different therapists in Bellmore and have to say I am so pleased. The staff is very professional and friendly.. I purchased 3 gift cards for my co- workers over the holidays and they all told me the same thing, omg it was amazing..
