I'm very sick. Like in the bathroom every 10 minutes sick. Fever of 101 kinda sick. But because I got sick within 24 hours of my appointment, there's no exceptions, so I either go and hopefully don't vomit, or worse, everywhere or let them take $45. But as the lady i spoke to (the THIRD time I called) said, "we're not forcing you to come in". Sure, but you're still taking my money. And like I'm not canceling outright, I'm rescheduling. Like I WANT to give you my money and my business, i was literally looking into joining your membership program. But after this, nah. It also shows a crazy lack of concern/respect for their employees. I'm sure the lady I have an appointment with is not going to want to touch me. And i wouldn't blame her. It's probably food poisoning, but what if it isn't? What if I'm contagious? He worked my back on both Wednesday and Friday since I have had so many issues with knots on both sides. He also helped with my clenching, giving me a fabulous tool that I can use at home to relax my jaws. Not only did he perform magic on my poor old back, but also he wrote notes for me to take home to my physical therapist since I am visiting from Atlanta. First off, I've been a member of the Stetson Hills location for approx 4 years and have always received excellent service and care from the massage therapists. This last spring however, I requested to have my membership cancelled due to a military move and since then I've only had incredibly disappointing experiences with their customer service. It was immediately after my last appt in May that I requested to have my membership cancelled, and at that time I was given a hardcopy cancellation form to complete and return... which I did before leaving the appointment that same day. I was also advised that due to where my cancellation request fell within the billing cycle that I would also be charged in June, but I completely understood and was fine with that. Fast forward to July though and my credit card statement showed I was being charged again. I quickly called and spoke with one of the employees who works the desk to have it remedied; it took her some time to find my cancellation form but once she found it, she advised the charge would be refunded and I would not get charged again. Well, come August, September, and now October I'm still being charged. I've called each time to request assistance with my cancellation, but they don't seem interested in processing it. The last time I spoke to Savannah, who also said she couldn't find my form but would email me a new one so it could get filed appropriately. It's been a month, and I still have not received an email with said cancellation form. I've spoken to multiple employees, left messages, and asked for a manager call back but as you could probably assume by now, no call back. I'm lucky if I can even get through to a person and not the voicemail. I feel I've been fairly patient considering this has been 5 months but I'm already out a few hundred dollars and there's no effort I can see on their part to fix it. Not to mention they've now raised their rates and I'm being charged even more as of October. Really disappointing end to a great service. read more

We did a couple massage for Valentine's day. Service I'll give an A with a bonus for the receptionist. Massage therapists also an A. Great relaxing session. What really throws me off though is when I book a 90 min massage I think it is reasonable to expect a 90 min massage. Massages were st 4PM. Arrived 20 minutes early so we were very much on time. Got called in at 4:03 then with greeting & getting ready that took us to about 4:10. Massage ended at :24 past the hour. So the massage was really best case 75 min. I am generally not this calculating but there was a clock right there in the room. Message for you readers. Great place but clarify up front what you are really getting. $218 (before tip) for our massages I do expect 90 min is 90 min. read more

Extremely friendly and welcoming environment. Going for my first massage, I was a bit wary and nervous, but the friendly staff and simple environment put me at ease right away. No strong arm sales pitches, just a menu and some recommendations on things you might like. They encourage rotating through different technicians so you get an idea of different pressures and styles. Technicians were knowledgeable on anatomy and biomechanics, which was much more important to me than the more foo foo stuff (no offense to people who like the foo foo it can be very nice). I had an injured shoulder and the two people that have worked on me knew what they were doing from triggers points, acid removal, traction, and some other stuff I didn't understand. Great atmosphere. I was scared I'd be covered in candles and incense. Definitely worth a regular visit. read more

Them: Skilled, pampering, and focused. Me: Disabled Veteran, musculoskeletal pain, appreciative. I was a regular at this Elements for a long time until I recently moved to CA. I cycled through a few of their people and was never disappointed. Front desk staff went through each provider's style and expertise and helped me choose one. Membership was easy to sign up for and highly recommended as it truly helped rehab my back/shoulder/knee/feet/neck/hips/glutes. Deep tissue all the way and enjoy the friendly service after your massage. I love their report cards on what they experienced (i.e. tight muscles) and the follow up as you see them more. 5/5 for a high quality location. read more

Called Elements at the recommendation of a person who works there. This is the first time I have ever went for a massage, and much needed due to some back issues. Very friendly on the phone, set me up an appointment for next morning at 10:30. Said they would email me new client paperwork, never did. Well, arrive for "curbside check in" at 10:08 (10:15 was check in) and sent to answering machine, directed to leave message and "we'll be out soon to check you in." Waited for just a bit over 20 minutes, nothing, so called the other phone number finally at 10:30. They said, "oh gosh, i'm so sorry, we have a note here that we had to cancel your appointment... blah blah blah, tried to call you, which they did not. No messages on my phone, no missed calls, nothing. Wanted to reschedule me for 7:45PM with a guy, when I was very specific that I didn't feel comfortable with a guy. They didn't even have the courtesy to come out to the car and say they made a mistake, nothing... I just got to sit there and waste 20 minutes of my time, my gas, and drive time... I'm in pain, and this is how I start my day! I was really looking forward to this, but the experience pretty well ruined my day, and a great way to really piss me off first thing in the morning. Do not waste your money!!! The massage therapists are unskilled and talk throughout the entire massage session. My entire left leg was skipped..I was brought a cup of water with something floating in it.. absolutely disturbing. Customer service, Massage therapists, and Cleanliness all need to be improved. I have been threatened by the owner of the company, "Dan" for putting up these honest reviews of my experience at his massage parlor that he keeps taking down. I will continue to post about my experience as it was the absolute WORST massage I have ever had. Seriously, your money is better spent at Massage Envy on First & Main. They are wonderful! Dan, I declined your free service because aside from the massage being horrible I do value peoples time and don't believe any service should be free. I wish there will be zero stars to give them. DO NOT USE this place. I scheduled a massage just to be called few hours before the service and asked to reschedule. The day of the new appointment I was told again that I had the dates wrong even if I had them on speaker and 3 other family members heard the conversation. My son is a cadet so I always confirm the dates. They didn't even apologized. So they just responded . When I asked to reschedule the appointment I rescheduled for this Saturday January 24th. I asked my son if the date was ok as he has an injury and this is the reason of the massage. The day of the service he borrowed a car, used a pass to leave the base just to get there and be told the appointment is for February 1st. It's true you have no control over someone getting sick, but on the VM they left me when they cancelled the original appointment the therapist wasn't sick he had a family emergency. I had a great experience with Patrick. I've recently had some surgery and he helped make sure I was comfortable position wise the whole time. Love this place. Love the flexibility of the memberships as well. Wayan is the bomb if you're looking for a true, deep tissue massage. I actually had to tell him to back off a little which is unheard of for me. Everyone there has been very friendly and accommodating. I even had to do a short-notice cancellation due to illness and received no flak at all. I haven't ever been to one of these "chain" massage clinics, but after a broken foot and walking on crutches, and not being able to get in with my regular massage therapist until January, I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Nathan was my therapist, and his knowledge, technique (deep tissue) was amazing, and better than a lot of the independent therapists I've used. He has a degree and a background in physical therapy/wight training, so this was an added bonus. read more

Julie was amazing, small frame but she can def give you some pressure if you like it deep and hard. My body feels like a very relaxed spaghetti noodle. She even massages my love handles which was cool. She also did this thing with her forearms and my neck that felt amazing/ trippy. The Himalayan Hot stones were legit, if your sensitive to heat you might want em to cool them off but I liked them because they were lava hot. Been to a few places with hot stone massage and it's more of a Luke warm stone massage but not here. Wife's getting a prenatal massage, she's still in there but I went ahead and wrote this before I forgot. There monthly memberships are pretty good too, I'm sure my wife's is gonna want to sign up. This was my first time here. Although I had many massages before this was my first deep tissue for neck and shoulder pain. My experience started with the front desk. They were very friendly and professional. I felt right at home. My massage was rough, but then I expected that. Tim did a great job working through my multiple knots. Elements knows their business and their therapists are amazing! I usually see Tricia, and she DEFINITELY knows her stuff! I've suffered from lower-back/mid-back pain and pain in my hips and lower body off and on for three years (due to an old injury that hurt my sciatic nerve when it happened), and Tricia worked her magic and after ONE visit, I could actually stand up straight again. Now I go when I can and plan to continue giving Elements my business into the New Year if possible. My only issue is making schedules synch, but that's no one's problem but mine and I make do as I can (finding reliable babysitting is kind of hard for a stay-at-home mom like me). We booked a couples massage and had such an excellent experience! We both suffer from previous vehicle accidents and regularly have chiropractic adjustments. But the soft tissue continued to make us ache. Adding deep tissue massages to our regular routine will keep us well tuned and allow us to live the active life we crave!! I started getting regular massages when my fitness trainer suggested them because of my extremely tight hip flexors. I requested their highest level which is a level 4. I got Jarrod. We're quite the pair since we both like to talk. Most people don't during massages. To follow up, we still entertain each other; Jarrod has really helped improve my range of motion in my right arm. He's helping me work through my neuropathy which really affects my balance with walking. It's slow progress but my muscles are finally responding!! read more

I had my first session 6 days ago and walked out not satisfied. I was pretty cold throughout my session and thought from my previous massage sessions elsewhere that the therapists was going to apply a warm compress after massaging each area. That didn't happen and I walked out feeling I didn't get a full body massage. I wrote a disappointed review days after and was given the opportunity to go back for another session with another therapist. Nathan at Elements first offered to start the warming blanket, I had no idea they had the option and became at ease that I wasn't going to be cold throughout my session. I called last night to see if they had any openings first thing this morning. The receptionist was so nice on the phone. They had a 9am. I scheduled at 90 minute massage. I arrived this morning to a warm greeting. The receptionist greeted me by name. I waited only a short time for my therapist, Missy. She was great. Just the right amount of pressure and focused on my problem areas. She kept the talking to to minimum. Just asking about pressure and any other areas of concern. She was very thorough on my problem areas. I felt very relaxed and enjoyed my massage. I didn't feel rushed out of the room. I will be going back. Thank you very much!! read more

I had a good massage experience here. I was able to get in same day, which I appreciated. The massage was pretty good. I like that they give you something afterwards that tells you where you tense spots were. The follow up is a bit excessive. I'm sure some people like this, but I do not like getting calls afterwards to check in and try to schedule the next appointment. At the least, it would be nice if they would ask on their forms if you'd prefer not to get these calls so you can opt out of it. read more

My mother-in-law had purchased several massages from this place, & she gave 2 to my husband & I for our visit. My husband had a deep tissue massage with Alecia. He said she was really good & very strong. That's all that I could get out if him. I had a Swedish massage with Lanette...she was awesome! She asked about my problem areas & if there was anywhere I would like her to focus & what I was looking for in my massage. She let me know what she found & gave me suggestions to make sure I was not soar the next day, since I am not a massage regular, & I was not soar the next day. I really enjoy this place! I have been going to Elements for almost 2 years now. Their customer service is very friendly and i typically don't have much trouble booking day of appointments when i call. The facility is clean and relaxing. Every therapist i have had was always very professional, making me feel comfortable. The only down side i would say is it seems therapists don't stay long. After getting a couple sessions i would call back to book with the same person all to find that they were no longer working there. Also, in my opinion their membership program isn't really worth the hassle it ends up being. Being busy i don't get in as often as id like so my sessions rack up, and the game of putting it on hold to eventually cancel it is sort of a pain. Originally i read you could pay $10 dollars each to put them on gift cards but then was told that if i cancelled i would lose those massages. Which doesn't make much sense since i already purchased them. Maybe just a miscommunication with the receptionist. Yes you get a discount for each massage, which is VERY nice but just make sure it is something you will use regularly to make worth your money and time. These past few times i have gone to see Tyler and he has worked wonders. Due to my job i carry about 50lbs worth of gear for upwards of 12 hours a shift. He has worked knots, aches and stress out of my neck, shoulders and back while also giving me very helpful tips for at home care. I will be back! read more
