I was in Colorado Springs this summer and stopped by this place last minute for a massage. I loved it so much I booked another massage while I was there. I will for sure be booking a massage here next time I'm in town. I absolutely felt like I was matched with a great therapist. I've been a body worker for decades and I'm always apprehensive about seeing a new massage therapist but this place had some talent masseuses. My family has been a member for years before they changed names. (Same owners with a new name). We have had a family membership where we could all use their services. Over the past 4 or 5 years we accumulated quite a few credits and after their name change their policies changed. They no longer allow family membership so we tried to work out using up our credits with the manager before getting individual memberships. We were given very few options on "transferring" a few to each of us. Only the "primary" member can use them. We were told we each needed individual memberships at $75 each month per person to freely use up our already paid for credits. This was unreasonable, so after multiple conversations with the manager we came up with an agreement that seemed doable to use up our $600 in accumulated credits. The manager apparently did not add these notes to our account, so when we proceeded to try to use the credit agreed to, we were told that we were back to square one and we would need to sign up for individual memberships again. We have witnessed other members having the same discussion at the reception area. I would NOT recommend a membership here. Just pay as you go. This has been frustrating and we feel like we have been ripped off. read more

I went in today for a 60 minute massage. My masseuses' name was Shayla, she greeted me and went over areas to focus on and areas to avoid. We discussed pressure and she assured me to let her know if the pressure was too heavy or too light. I ended up getting a full body massage focusing on back and neck. My massage was awesome and very relaxing. My only complaint, that i haven't noticed is consistent across many massage businesses, is they count the time dressing and undressing as part of your 60 minute massage. So, your massage only ends up being 40-50 minutes. Other than that, i have no complaints. The front desk staff, named Casey, was very welcoming and gave me options for future massages. I will definitely be recommending this location to others, and will be back. read more

It's really quite a shame. You can have great service, I had a wonderful massage from Leah..then have it ruined by rude front desk staff. There's no reason to be that rude. I told her my massage was supposed to be 90 min and we started 15 min late (I was on time) and ended on time. So, it was short. I told her the therapist was wonderful but my massage was short and she said "Leah never does that" well she did tonight. This could have been so much better an experience if she wasn't so rude about it. She should have said sorry, we can give u an extra 15 min next time or we can give you a discount or anything other than "she doesn't do that, you got 90 min. Basically, I'm lying? Really disappointing. Short version: Front desk staff was rude. The massage (what there was of it) was fine but the masseuse asked me questions about my job the entire time, and the massage was cut short. Go elsewhere. Longer version: I received a gift card for this massage, so this was my first time here. On the way to my appointment, there was a car accident and google said it was a +10 min delay, so I called them right away. They said they would let my masseuse know. I hurried in, filled out paperwork, and went back for the massage. It was a nice neck and shoulder massage, but the masseuse asked me questions the entire time. I answered to be polite and figured she would only ask a few and then finish the rest of the massage in silence. But suddenly she said, "Ok, the time's up." I had been on the bed less than 30 min. for a 60 min massage appt. At the front desk, I asked if the massage was cut short because I was caught in the accident traffic. The woman at the front desk was rude and icy in replying. I understand if that's their policy. However, no one explained that when I came in or even smiled at me once. This was the second time my husband and I have been to this spa. My therapist, Leah, was amazing and one of the best massages I've ever experienced!!! The receptionists were friendly and very accommodating while scheduling our massages. Unfortunately, my husband's massage with Lyndsey was not good. She continued to apply pressure in the same area for 10 minutes and did not decrease the pressure after he asked her to several times. There was no flow to how she did the massage. I have been here twice, the first time I was suppose the receive a 90min deep tissue massage,it was 70 min.  I don't need 20 minutes cut from the massage for dressing.  It was not a deep tissue massage it was very light more like a rub down.  Because it is so dark when leaving,I left behind my new Fit bit.  Of course they never found it. My seconds visit was for a 1 hour massage, it was 38 minutes.  I was early for my appointment, I watched scheduled  time arrive and pass, then the counter girl  rushed over  said it shouldn't be too much longer and asked me to fill out a form (the person that was with me was not asked to fill out any form, and they had never been.  Finally 8 minutes into my appt I was called in, then  another 7minutes to undress. Again suppose to be deep tissue..... it was a let me run my hands over the sheets lightly, literally more like Reiki. I then said I asked for deep tissue, which was then an elbow on pressure points, on my shoulder blades, then back to a very light sheet massage of course, leaving to dress with my 7min.  I  received 38 min. of actual time. Then again because they leave you in the dark, I left a behind Starbuck bottle. Contacted them, yes they found it. Told them I will pick it up, but within hours came down with a severe case of the flu for 10 days.   Once I had recovered I Immediately went down to pick it up, there response was we threw it away. A 25.00 Starbuck bottle they just threw it away. Manager " sorry but we can hold things" I explained I was sick, you could have called before throwing it away it had my name on it and you have my number. Said she would talk to the owner, and get back to me. A week went by no call, I stopped in and the owner said It's not our responsibility, I'll give you half. No where does it state a time limit, nor did the person I talked to say a time limit. After never finding my fitbit that I did not ask for replacement. But a second time with them actually having the bottle. I was also told by one of their employee that only 1 person can do a deep tissue massage and she is always booked 3 to 4 weeks out. So if you like Reiki this is the place for you. read more

I didn't feel it was worth the money. The massage was maybe 35 minutes if that, I paid for an hour. She said I'll step out for you to get undressed... She came back 10 minutes later. She asked me a few questions about my previous messages and what I wanted, all was previously discussed when it was booked, more time wasted. Then the massage was pretty mediocre. Then she says, I'll step out to get you water and let you change. At least another 10 minutes if not more. I feel like I was not taken care, and my appointment was from 1-2pm, I checked out at the front desk and was in my car at 2pm. I 100% did not get my money's worth, I was very disappointed as it was a birthday gift. read more

I was very disappointed with my massage today. I arrived for my message and the font staff was okay, they got me all checked in and had me fill out some paperwork since it was my first time there. Then Dani (the message therapist) came and got me. Started out well, she asked me if I wanted a full body massage or just focus on one spot. I told her I would really like to just focus on my left shoulder, upper back and then do some full body work. She spend about 2 minutes on my back and used way to hard of pressure. She then worked a good amount on my arms. She pushed and squeezed so hard it hurt so bad. I kept trying to jerk my arm away from her and she told me to "just relax". How can I relax when you are hurting me!!! I could feel my hands going numb. She also kept trying to move my joints in odd directions. At one point I screamed out "ouch". She continued. I then said 30 seconds later, "That is really starting to hurt". She said nothing and just moved on with the massage. Once I turned over onto my back she went to go for my neck. I grabbed the back of my neck and said "no, I have a bad neck. I don't like people touching my neck". She said "okay" and continued massaging my shoulders and then up my neck. I even filled out on the sheet in the beginning to avoid my neck and lower back. She did not avoid either. She would also do this weird pulling and tucking thing constantly through the massage with the sheets. It was weird. After the massage she apologized for getting a little rough with me and tried to give me advice on how to not be so stiff. I left. Paid for the massage and did not tip her. Told the font desk that I probably would not be back. They apologized and said they would have the manager call me. All in all, I would not recommend this place. If you do come here I would not recommend Dani. She was not a good massage therapist. So much for a relaxing massage. read more

I had a couple massage scheduled for today and ended up having a flat tire which caused me other issues because we couldn't get the tire off and I ended up having to get roadside assistance well being that I didn't call Massage Green Spa right away they still charged me for the appointment. I am highly disappointed. I suppose people who book shouldn't run into LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES that may cause you to miss the appointment. read more

My husband purchased 5 massages for me at 49.95 and got 1 free. I was told to use the free one first, which I did, and had 5 left, (I thought).I used two and a couple months went by and I had not used the remaining 3. When I tried to make an appointment for one of my three remaining massages, the receptionist aka assistant manager could not find me "in the system". I was previously told not to worry because I was "in the system" and I had 3 1/2 massages. I don't know what receptionist had to do to find me, but she did call me back and said she "found me" and I could book my massage. I booked, and went for my massage. No complaint. When I left, I asked how many massages I had left, the receptionist in a very cold manner told me I had 39.95 left, and that is not enough for one massage, I asked what I had been charged for the massage I had just finished, and she said 59.95, there was a price increase, and my original contract for 49.95 had been negated (my words) and the price was now 59.95. I was not given any information about a price increase changing the product my husband had originally purchased. I am not accustomed to a company practicing "bait and switch" (which is illegal) so I requested the remainder of my money back because I would not return. Well, asst manager can't do that, so I asked for her supervisor, she can't do that either. I can only surmise that the owner of the franchise is in the witness protection plan because I have been unable to get their name. The saga continues: Massage Green Spa quit taking my calls (obviously recognized the phone number on my daily calls) requesting name and phone number of franchise owner. Today I received a "blank Massage Green Spa letterhead" with two $20.00 bills aka cash in it. Who does that ??? I can only assume that the owner of the franchise is ashamed of the way they treat clients, and does not want their identity revealed. BBB has no information on this franchise. read more

I went in for the first time to get a massage because my neck had become painfully tense and was limiting my range of motion. I told the masseuse, Lauren, the issues that I was having and she listened carefully and decided to focus on my neck and shoulders. By the time I left I had full range of motion in my neck with very little pain. I'm not an aficionado or anything, but the vast improvement I experienced speaks for itself. Very nice,and clean, location. I have a membership-which works out to be cheaper than going to most other places. The other good thing is the massages roll over (you don't lose them if you don't use them that month). The reason for 4 stars is it sometimes hard to book an appointment and I have had a couple of massages that weren't so great. It depends on who you get that day. You can book with a certain masseuse, but it can be difficult to find a time that they are available. Overall pleased with the experience and will continue with them. read more

Booked a couples massage towards the end of our vacation in Colorado Springs and it was just what the doctor ordered. The entire facility was very clean and serene. The two massage therapists were very professional and provided a great experience. Rakhaela, which I may have misspelled, was wonderful for strong, deep tissue massage. The price was very reasonable for the couples massage 140.00 including tip. The temperature in the room was perfect and there are options to add more aromatherapy and fragrance to your massage experience. The practitioner I had was very nice. I was looking forward to a therapeutic/deep tissue massage. I usually talk to my masseuse and decide what type/intensity/pressure, etc. I was not informed about the particular style of the massage on special for $39.99 until we entered the room and it was mentioned offhandedly. My mistake for not asking. The massage was relaxing, the pressure was nice, and I had no complaints. She did a great Swedish style massage. Massage Green provides you with the greatest number of minutes for actual massage than any other business I have tried. In addition, Nadya is an excellent deep tissue massage therapist, who can work out the worst tight and aching knots in my muscles. Some of the negative reviews had me pretty apprehensive about my visit. However, I found the front desk staff professional and unlike some other places, I wasn't bombarded with a sales pitch for extended contracts. My wait was short and the massage was great. The therapist, Whitney, focused on my back issues but gave me a great full body massage with just the right amount of pressure. The massage gave me the full amount of time I requested and left me feeling great. The aesthetics of the surroundings were good and the music was soothing. I have been getting massages for many years now. Usually once a week. Being new to this area I thought I would give this place a try. I got the introductory price which was $29.95 for an hour. It was right up there as the worst massage I have ever had. It really was not much more than slathering oil on me for an hour. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" comes into my mind. By the time you leave the recommended tip of $10 you are not really saving any money. I had considered a "membership" before I had the massage. I will not be returning.
