When we call the main office to talk to someone they continually refer us to our rude salesman! Would never buy anything from them again. Update: After one of their associates saw our reviews someone from Kansas City Building Supply called and ordered us our screen and said they have the openers at their facility. We are happy to get results, but it's too bad that we have to go through social media to get results.

We rented a truck from a nearby "Home" improvement store, drove to JCBM, paid for the rock and had the truck bed loaded in less than 10 minutes, and were on our way...thus saving ourselves about 30% (not to mention multiple trips to the store). We happen to only live a few miles away, but if we were any further away or needed more rock, it would have made economic sense to just pay for delivery based on crunching the numbers.

I took my lawn mower blade in to be sharpened! that's where it all went wrong. they had blades…read moreeverywhere ( no organization at all) and i was real skeptical but i filled out the card and watched them tie it to the blade and they just left it on the counter and walk away . they told 2-3 days, well 4 days later ( i gave them and extra day)i walk in to pick up my blade, they said it's nit done after looking through a pile of blades for 15 minutes, but that they will make sure it gets sharpened in the next day (that would be a thursday ) i go pick it up on a saturday and now they can't find it! 20 minutes go by and still nothing. they did find the tag laying on the floor 30 minutes later with no blade. the guy was real nice and got my information and ordered me a new blade and gave me a cheap blade that was laying around and said they would call me when the new blade came in. No call and when i tried calling it as if they didn't know what i was talking about. luckily they gave me tht cheap blade i guess ( didn't get hosed tht bad) but for the price of a new blade i don't feel that hassle is worth the time! so a bad review is in order.... should have went with mu gut at first seeing the disorganization, but they seemed nice lol i don't know what this store is going through but its not that good of a place anymore

I've brought my pup in here as she continues to need some socialization and it always goes well. One time the clerks had their dog too and they became fast friends. This store really packs quite a bit into it. Of course it won't be as sizable as a Home Depot, but man oh man is the experience world's better. I found every single thing on my list which was great. It's closest size comparison to me would be the Ace in Westport, but hey guess what, you don't have to fear for your life in KC's worst intersection if you come here! It's easy to park in the lot out front, off of the always-busy 75th Street. My kids love it because they have a gumball machine, whoopie cushions, and other classics from back in the day when the world was making real attempts to be fun. Contacted the company who in turn had their insurance company contact us. Don't take but a few days to receive "DENIED". They wouldn't have anyone come out to assess the complaint and damage. Seems like they have a standing response "DENIED " without any consideration for the consumer and the damage their product causes. They obviously have had numerous complaints and claims filed and are still able to continue to sell products that cause damage, with no recourse or care for the consumer. We lived up north for 40+ years using other ice melt products and NEVER had this happen. It makes our stomachs sick to have to look at this daily. Do NOT use this product unless you want your property to be ruined and pay out of your pocket for very costly repairs.
