I am absolutely in love with my new hair! I came in wanting to go ice blonde, and Carine completely exceeded my expectations. She listened carefully to what I wanted, explained the process step by step, and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Going this light can be tricky, but she handled it with such skill and confidence--you can really tell she knows her craft. The color turned out stunning: the perfect icy blonde, bright yet natural, with so much dimension and shine. My hair feels healthy and soft, which is amazing considering how much work it takes to achieve this shade. I've gotten so many compliments already, and I can't stop looking at it in the mirror. On top of the incredible results, the whole experience was wonderful. Carine was warm, professional, and truly passionate about her work. The salon itself was welcoming, clean, and relaxing, which made the appointment even more enjoyable. every time I visit toms river (it's my home town) and I need my hair did ;) I always go back to elemis, there prices are unbeatable. I just got back from a trip to newark and once I got back I called them on my cell phone, usually when I am there they are very busy, so I told them I understood if I had to wait. they said not to bother and to come in without an appointment. I was a little shocked by this as I felt that I was going to have to wait regardless of what they said. Well all of my doubts vanished when as soon as I walked in they had someone waiting to help me. As you can see from this picture, they did my hair with finess! im a regular and they already know what i'm getting. and the facility itself looks great from the outside and on the inside it looked very tidy the last time I was there. all n all a great experience and I will be back when I take a trip back to toms river. read more

I just went for my second visit and once again Kim impressed the hell out of me and did a brilliant job!! I went for more long layers as she had suggested, she did an amazing face frame with lots of sexy layers. She works fast in a flurry of cutting {Ms.Edward Scissor hands} and she is super precise and a true artist at what she does. I am so glad I found her!!! It is so hard to find a great hairdresser!!!! This is a young hip, & trendy Salon, the clientele walking in and out of the door looked great. She makes my hair look as sexy & luxurious as possible. I had my hair done by Sara and she is SUCH an angel who does amazing work! I was looking for someone down by me as my hairstylist that I've had for years is up in Red Bank and while I absolutely loved her too, it was just a lot to try and manage driving up there and now having a newborn I have to go by my husbands schedule so this salon was highly recommended and Sara is just the best! I'm so glad I took a chance on this salon. Carine was my hairstylist and owner of the salon. I told Carine and Tori my horrible salon experiences. The first bad hair experience was my last perm in the early 90s that hasn't gone away. My hair is a frizzy curl. Always need to use product. Lastly several bad haircuts throughout the years. After a nice experience getting a color and cut in this salon, I waited 2 weeks before writing a review. I wanted to see if my color would fade after washing and I'm delighted with my color. Had lashes done at this place. Lashes came out within a few days. Went with whatever was left to a new place that came highly recommended. She could not believe that I had my lashes done 10 days before. She also had to remove my lashes because every lash was glues on in a different direction. Very unprofessional and overpriced!
