This was my first visit to this salon. It's very nice inside all the employees were friendly, I had Erica cut my hair I haven't had my hair cut in a few years and was so tired of the length. I didn't really know what I wanted to do with it besides chop off a lot of it. I was pretty much open to whatever she thought would look best, but she made sure to ask me if I liked layers, how did I part my hair, did I wear it curly or straight she was very professional and extremely helpful with helping me figure out what I wanted. I went specifically for lash extensions. The lashes are affordable, however they are made of plastic and the said they are made of mink lashes. They are painful. Horrible. I've never had one problem with lashes until coming here. I've been going to lash bars for 5years. I'm not particular about my lashes, but the 3 times I went the lashes were heavy, the glue is unbearable and they looked bad. I really wanted to like it there. So badly. Unfortunately my last application was a total botch job. Most of the lashes fell out the next day. Lashes were glued in the middle of my eyelashes instead of the base of my eyelid, they were clumped together by the glue and they were way too long. Tacky and uncomfortable. Then half of them fell out! When I spoke with the lash girl she said it would take $20-$25 to fix it. I opted not to fix them because $80 in 2 days is too much to spend on lashes. Then, the manager called and told me I shouldn't come back. She acted like I had a "reaction" from the lashes when it was just a horrible botchy, rushed application job. She wasn't mean, but I felt like she didn't want to be bothered. They should have reimbursed me or fixed them. I also had a friend that scratched her cornea from the glue there. She complained to Cristy and the manager. When I mentioned this to the manager she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. I told my friend this, and she couldn't believe that she said that. She was out of work because of this. There have been complaints if this place. They really need to change their lash line. I do not recommend going there. Whatever they use is low-quality and they are lying about their products. At the end of the day lashes aren't a huge deal, but my eyes are. One star for the color, which turned out ok. Went in for a long awaited color, cut, pedi, and waxing. After tips and a can of mousse, my tab was $300. Huge ripoff. When I saw that the pedi was $46, I envisioned hot towels and a soothing leg massage. I got my feet soaked in some kid of oil, nails, cuticles, and calluses done, and some cream slapped on my legs. No massage and no massage chairs; you get to sit on an old, uncomfortable, tired bench. I've had far better $20 pedicures. After my 5 minute, $19 lip and eyebrow wax, I came home and tweezed out everything she missed. Foils and haircut are $167. What haircut? Got a bang trim and a few snips aimed at my head. Sides and back look like different haircuts. My fault, did not ask to see sides and back before I left. Was pretty upset when I came home and looked in the mirror. For $300, one would expect to leave feeling and looking good. Instead, I was angry and stressed. Won't be going back. read more

My hair has become so unmanageable these days, always frizzy and dull, Now it's shiny, silky and smooth. I first started going to D'jais 30 years ago. I left for a little while because it takes me an hour to get there, I had to go back. No one else was able to fix all the issues with my hair. Just got a cut today, a Sunday, from Suzanne. First, love the Sunday hours! Many salons aren't open and I love the flexibility they offer in scheduling. Suzanne was FANTASTIC!!!! She talked with me at length about what I wanted. Ive been wearing my hair basiccally the same way for two decades and was bored as hell with it. I showed her pics of what i liked, and she cut it with a nice compromise from where I was to the pics. She could have gone totally drastic like what I showed her, but gave me something in the middle so I could have some bangs and layers without being in shock. It looks AMAZING, and I can't wait for the next cut when we refine it even more! The salon is clean, everyone is super friendly, and they dont even try to push product on you like many other salons. She also does my lashes which always leave me feeling flawless when I leave. No need for mascara makes mornings a lot easier to just get up and go. My daughter recently had her whole bridal party's make up and hair done at D'Jais Salon and Spa. There were nine in all. We all left feeling relaxed and beautiful. Since the wedding was on a Saturday, early afternoon, D'Jais accommodated us by opening early to ensure we had enough time to have done what was requested without feeling the pressure of time. For over an hour we had the whole salon to ourselves. The D'Jais staff couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. We were served continental breakfast which included special treats and offered us the opportunity to chat and wake up. Having the whole salon to ourselves for that time also allowed the videographer to roam around capturing the true meaning of getting ourselves ready, from the beginning. The girls floated throughout the various stations talking, laughing and even singing with one another. It was so nice, as mother of the bride, to see such support and friendship. A few girls were unsure heading to D'Jais what exactly they wanted to do with their hair or make-up for that matter. The stylists, whether hair or make-up, took their time talking the girls through their likes and dislikes before even beginning. We were done in enough time to relax at home before the photographer showed up to begin their pictures. There was no time pressure throughout the whole day. Everything was ahead of schedule and calm, including the bride. And I truly believe it was because it began so smoothly. Before we left the salon, all the girls were saying how happy they were with their hair and make-up. We even had the regular clients who began coming in after an hour or so commenting on how natural and beautiful all the girls looked. i walked in, took about 7-8 minutes of people working on shelves in the same room as me to acknowledge me (awkward), i was acknowledged AFTER a customer they knew walked in after me, i was led back to have my hair washed by a young girl who complained about her job the whole time, then they led me to the haircutting area, my girl introuced herself, she was so nice! she listened, she did exactly as i asked-great. the two other workers who were 5 feet away and obviously talking about me made me a little ill at ease, but whatever-i mentioned this to the girl who was cutting my hair, she wispered "they're horrible people"(GREATTTT!). i left very happy with my great haircut, she was the only one i tipped because she was the only one who performed a professional service-i went back one more time, for that stylist, she's gone now so i can find better places to be treated like garbage for a $60.00 haircut. read more

Let me start off by saying I'm not usually someone to take the time out and write a review BUT I got my nails done by Lisa two days before vacation. It took longer than it normally takes when I get my nails on ( by other salons ). An hour after I left a nail popped off. I went back and she tried to fix it by just putting extra glue on there. Keep in mind my nails generally stay on for three weeks at the least from other places. Not one apology was given from any of the workers and they made me feel as if I was the bother. The following day two other nails fell off. I called again and once AGAIN not one apology was given. I would also like to add that they are extremely unprofessional. There was another older blonde woman doing nails that was constantly speaking loudly on the cell phone and to her co workers speaking of stuff that definitely shouldn't have been spoken of at work. I cannot speak for their hair service but as far as customer service and and the nail service in general I HIGHLY do not recommend this place. read more
