We made a purchase on Reverb for a G&L Tribute ASAT listed as "Brand New" only to find out from a…read moreguitar tech that one of the frets had damage and was either filed incorrectly or some other attempt was made to fix an undisclosed issue. Definitely not "Brand New" condition and not playable. You would think an Authorized G&L Dealer that lists a guitar as "Brand New" would be more agreeable to resolve this situation, but Infinity Guitars was completely unwilling. Also pretty unresponsive. This was not an instrument sold in "as is" condition. So we're stuck with an expensive fix. Sadly, with our limited expertise this was discovered outside the return window (of 2 days!) BUYER BEWARE. Instrument was not as listed.

She is a great coach and motivator! She is my saving grace because she prepared me to perform the Beethoven Piano Concerto No.2 in Saratoga, California (January 2015); the Piano Texas Festival in Fort Worth (June 2015); and, the International Keyboard Institute & Festival in NYC (July 2015)! She has helped me live out my dreams and continues to guide me down the path of success! Lessons seem to go by so fast! I wish we could have lessons for longer! She's awesome, kind, and truly concerned with her students' musical development and success! I look forward to lessons, every week! Her attention to detail is flawless - I love that! She helps me with the small and big details within the music! She is an excellent instructor and guide! Two big thumbs up! I was looking for a Roc N Soc drum throne with a backrest and Cymbal Fusion had…read morethe best price. Not only that, it comes with fast, free shipping. The price aside, what I really appreciate is their customer service and attention to detail. I ordered the throne Thursday afternoon and asked it to be shipped to a different address from my billing address, and within 1/2 hour of placing the online order, I received a phone call from Eric asking me to confirm that was my intention. Then he shipped the box from Houston, TX that same day, about an hour later (Thursday afternoon), and I received it Sunday in California. I mean, what company do you know other than Amazon processes your order that quickly? This will be my go to place for drum equipment. I was a bit hesitant placing the order online with a company I've never heard of, but this business is legit. It beats out Guitar Center and Sweetwater in price and customer service.

Not acceptable for a "brand-new" cymbal…read more I purchased a brand-new Paiste 20" 2002 Power Crash from CymbalFusion. It arrived with multiple visible blemishes, two marks on the underside, and a nick on the edge. Several of the marks were deep enough to catch my fingernail. I have included photos documenting the condition of the cymbal I received. This should never have been shipped as a brand-new cymbal without the condition being identified beforehand. I paid new-item pricing and expected a new, undamaged cymbal--not one that required me to document defects and arrange a return immediately after receiving it. To CymbalFusion's credit, they refunded me in full. That resolved the financial issue, but it does not erase the fact that the product I received did not meet the condition I was promised. If you are buying an expensive cymbal advertised as brand new, I would expect it to be inspected carefully before it leaves the store. This experience fell well short of that standard. The photos speak for themselves.

Two stars for voice lessons. I think the piano instruction is likely very good - at least their…read morestudents seem to be able to play the piano well. For voice, not as good. I don't know if the instructor thought that my child had been warming up her voice prior to the lessons, but at some point she started using the first 15 minutes of the lesson conversing about random topics unrelated to voice instruction (as in cats) with my child and dramatically shortening the length of her vocal warm ups. When my child, who is a professional actor/singer (member of Actors Equity Association) received sheet music for a production that she had been cast in, the instructor refused to help her learn it, telling me: "you don't tell me what music to teach her." I think that Houston Music Institute would be fine for children who are just beginning to learn to sing, but if your child already has some training under his/her belt or is looking to perform in any kind of musical theater production, I recommend you look elsewhere as this is not the place to do that.
