I have my oil changed here on the regular, and I love it. It's super efficient and I'm out of there in 15 minutes. The $40 premium oil change quickly went to $92 because my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup will require 8 quarts of oil instead of 5. That's $52 more for 3 quarts. That's gouging at it's best. I said no, took it to Valley Buick GMC in Auburn and was done in 30 minutes for about $55 with it hand washed and vac. Remember the old saying, "If it's too good to be true, it not true!" Very disappointing. I've been bringing my SUV here for years and the quality of service has really gone downhill. After my last two washes, I noticed the back looked very dirty so today I specifically asked the attendant to please give it a little extra scrub. His reply? 'Oh just ask the guy on the other side of the wash to do it.' (You know, the guy who DRIES the car?) No scrubbing at all as my car went in and of course the back hatch looks filthy and unwashed. I appreciate good service and always generously tip the guys; I guess I needed to get out of my car to check it each time. I hope the Covington location does a better job since I don't plan to return to this location. read more

Against my better judgement, I returned today to use a use coupon I printed off of Valupak's website for an oil change and "free" car wash. The girl handed it back to me and said you can't make copies of coupons. After arguing (yes arguing) with me for about 5 minutes she finally went and got the "manager" who reluctantly said I could use the coupon but "I can't be doing that anymore." All the guys outside I have to say were bustin their butts to try and keep up and were really friendly - Total time from drop off to completion for a simple oil change: 1 hour 22 minutes! Second chances only come once - they blew it, they will not be getting a third from me! read more

If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. Vehicle was taken in for routine car wash and oil change. Instead drivers side door was almost completely ripped off. Staff was not very professional. I would not recommend this place. read more

My husband had them wash his car 2 Times and it still wasn't clean. The employee told him it wasn't a detail shop. He just wanted the dirt washed off the exterior. Terrible service and terrible customer service. I hope this isn't typical but we won't be back to find out. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I paid for and didn't get the tire shine, and I had spots. The second visit I still had spots. Definitely not worth the $14 - $20. Go to an automated car wash and they'll do a better job. read more

I visit this location every 2-3 weeks, they do a fantastic job on my car! I get the coupon off of my safeway reciepts, so my Gold wash is only $21.00-instead of $30.00. They always ask me to check my car to make sure it's perfect! They do a great job and eveyone there is very friendly!! read more

Oil filter either fell off or was never installed. Drove about 600 feet before engine and oil light went on. Pulled over, checked under the hood, no filter. What a mess. They came over with a new filter and more oil. Drove back to shop. They tried to clean up the mess. Drove the next week with an extingwisher in the back seat. Complained to corp. office. No refund, no formal apoligy. Used to be a good shop. Now just grumpy folks and bad service. read more

Waited in line. Machine didn't work. Lost our discount. Four cars managed to get ahead of us while that problem was remedied. Ended up with them running out of water which left us with a soapy car. They did give us a ticket to go around again. I guess we can use it another day but we will not. They did rinse us off a bit. Said they had been having trouble. If you are having issues, close down. I know it's a sunny day and you are busy but we paid $10 to get soap on our car and little else. The young men working there were pleasant. I actually felt sorry for them. read more

I use them for my oil changes because they are thorough, efficient and have never had a problem with them. They use Mighty Auto Parts which is all I will use and you can sign up for email discounts which is a nice feature. read more

Pleasant staff, fast and thorough job done and good clean for the car. My only complaint, a little pricey. Only one vacuum for cars. Of course I am here and behind several mini Vans with kids. They should have at least two if not three. read more

Wow, nice staff but just left paying 15 dollars but this dies not include the inside vacuum, then when i inquired after the was about the inside vacuum they told me they have no way to give me tokens without cash , and they cant do it by card, they told me to run to safeway, so dont waste your time, no mention as you drive in that vaccum in unincluded , mention this to two employees and walked all the was back to a manager , i had no cash on me , he did not even offer me a:stinkin token , just told me to run to safeway, what a waste my time and money , now im going to have to go find a vacuum somewhere , bad customer service ! Went there for the "VIP" hand wash with a coupon from VALPAK. I won't be going back and you shouldn't either. After they sent me through the automated wash (they "pre wash" it by hand).. the guy on the other side went to town with the towel dry and tire shine. I thought everything was cool until I got out of the car and looked at it when I got home. The lower side panels still had dirt / road grime all over.. the car wash just smeared the dirt across the panels. The guy who towel dried the car had his face right there while he was doing the rims/tires... There's no way he could've missed the dirt as I drive a bright yellow car. Brown Bear automated washes to a much better job. Also, the Elephant Touchless wash in Covington does a decent job too. read more

My first time using Elephant Car Wash for an oil change. I had no coupon so paid "full" price. I about fell over when I went to pay the bill, $80.89, for an simple oil change. I think this is an outrage and I have been ripped off! I am a senior citizen of Maple Valley and I hope others will avoid this place. Don't leave your car there! Their inexperienced "tech" crossed battery cables and fried my battery. When I went to pick up my truck, it was dead and needed a jump. The worker tried to tell me my battery was old. What a crock. My battery tested good when I dropped it off and was dead when I picked it up. I tried to contact management but they won't respond. I normally don't go for the negative, but no response from management - that's just a zero in customer service. read more

Received a coupon, went to redeem the oil change and car wash, instead of the $34 charge they charged me $50. They could have informed me at check in of the additional cost but failed failed to do so. This is customer service 101. When I asked the manager about the additional charge, "he stated that I should have read the fine print.". When I asked for the owner he stated he was the owner. This place is fairly new so I decided to try them out after a family drive of over 3000 miles. I had them wash the outside and clean inside, it was pretty pricey at $30. I wasn't that impressed with the work done on the inside. They vacuumed, washed the floor mats, and dusted but all of it was only half-assed. In fact, it took me several minutes to put back the cables they took out and the few things I had in there was thrown out in the open. It was more of an inconvenience than anything else. The wash wasn't too bad cleanliness wise. However there was still quite a bit of road grime left that couldn't have been missed too easily, especially since the employees dried all of the car with rags. This carwash left my front license plate hanging by one screw. It almost ripped it clean off! They have a liability sign that says there not responsible for that stuff, (which by the way won't hold up in court) regardless I get it, you're trying to shirk responsibility. What fires me up about it though, is these guys spent more than five minutes drying my car with towels and when I get my car neither of the two employees bother to tell me the license plate is about to fall off. I don't understand why they wouldn't say something. If the company truly is not liable for these damages why would they avoid saying something about it. I was planning on bringing my wife's car in for oil changes because this is the only place that doesn't use Pennzoil, but if the employees can't give a heads up about a license plate, I'm not going to trust them to handle an $8000 motor. I had high hopes for this place but now I'm going to avoid it and every other Elephant Car Wash I see. Are there any good business out there anymore? read more

My vehicle was damaged, and they tried to cover it up. Twice. I used to take my vehicle there exclusively for oil changes and a wash while I was at it. On one trip they stripped the plug in the oil pan. Instead of properly repairing the damage they caused, they tried plugging it with a helicoil and sending me on my way. I drove to work, then drove home. When I pulled my vehicle out of the garage the next day I happened to notice a large puddle of oil on the floor. I checked my oil level and it was empty. I called Elephant Lube and Car Wash and told them they caused a problem, as yet unknown. Their manager came over and looked, agreed it was their fault, and they put more oil in and took it back to their facility. There they tried to tell me that the helicoil was installed elsewhere because the mileage on their computer from my visit from the day before was shown as in the 10's of thousands, not hundreds of thousands (which is what my odometer showed), and therefore it must have been done somewhere else. I laughed at him and asked how I had driven a hundred thousand miles overnight, and why the mileage on his computer for all previous visits was slowly incrementing up to the hundreds of thousands, then suddenly dropped back to the 10's on the day before. He didn't have an answer for that. I told him he either needed to fix it permanently or pay to have a shop do that. He happened to have a real mechanic on duty that day, so it was repaired at that time. I was fortunate there was no permanent damage. Based upon the fact that after a short while they owned up and fixed the problem, I kept doing business there. A few months later I took my vehicle in for another oil change, and when I got home I noticed that it was lighter by two expensive repair and maintenance manuals for that vehicle. One of their employees had stolen them, and they refused to acknowledge this. I will never again do business with these people, and recommend you consider the quality of employees they keep. read more

I was in here the other day and it was great. I went in for a car wash that was excellent and then I found out I can get my oil changed there too. They told me I could get a coupon at the Safeway next door or at ValPak for an oil change wash combo and when I did it was great. Way better then Jiffy Lube. The Lube techs really know their stuff and it was great to see. read more

I took my truck through the car wash. First the equipment malfunctioned and had to go through twice because it stopped in the middle during first drive through. Second, when I got out to put my antenna back on, my front metal plate holder and license plate was destroyed. I had seahawks metal holder, and it was so bent up it broke in two pieces. I went to file a incidence report, and they told me I was out of luck, and they are not responsible for any damages per their sign. I've been a long time customer for oil changes and car washes, and for them to not be accountable for any responsibility is ridiculous. The manager and owner says it happens all time and it's not their responsibility. WHY would their equipment cause a metal plate and license plate to be bent and break. I will never use them EVER again. Horrible place, any car owners should be warned. DO NOT GO TO MAPLE VALLEY, WA PINK ELEPHANT. read more
