Some idiot backed into my car when my car was parked in a parking lot. He took off w/o leaving his info but thankfully, my attorney firm managed to find him. I called Tesla but they only do body shop in Bellevue & Lacey location. So, we decided to go to Kent Collision since they were the closest (at 30mins away) & they were certified to work on Tesla cars. Went in for an estimate in early October. Waited for them to order my new bumper. Scheduled. Dropped off my car on 10/24(3pm). My car was ready for pick up on 11/4. Little disappointed they needed a whole 6 days just to paint & replaced a new bumper. My Ex used to work as an auto painter & he never took that long for that simple job. When I picked up my car, I saw an alert saying my "audio system unavailable". My horn & alarm wasn't working. We went back next day & they checked. They forgot to reconnect the wires to my bumper. When I picked up my car, they still had it on service mode so I had to ask someone to change it. 3 stars for friendly staff, completed work & +$3500 I didn't pay out of my own pocket. But it was a stressful 10 days w/o my car!!!!!! read more

This is by far the car shop experience I've had in a long time. I drive a heavily modded Subaru BRZ and to say the least it was not a easy job to fix my aftermarket front bumper. They went above and beyond to make my front bumper look brand new again and actually went even farther than that and reinforced my bumper with custom fabrication. Wow! A kid opened their car on mine, paint chip and ding x2. I went and got 3 quotes, Jason Cooker (part owner) greeted me on a SATURDAY and provided me a quote. Between the 3, they stood in the middle -cost wise. He told me they work for the customer and not the insurance, sure -heard that pitch before but he proceed in telling me that they pride themselves in "giving the car back to the owner in better condition which they brought it in"... okay? Seller! Well beside that point, the different quotes and the fact they were reasonable, sold it. They are very easy to work with, got myself booked in couple weeks later bc of the holiday. He said 2-3 days to get my car back and they were true to their word. I'm skeptical in how well auto bodies can blend their paint to match the rest of the car, luckily mine is black, you'd think it should be less complicated.. Jason was also 100% positive that I couldn't see the difference and he was right, I can't! You see ppl on the street and just cringe due to the horrible paint job but not here.. love it! They went above and beyond, filled in the other paint chips I had on my car which all blended very well into the car. They detailed inside and out of the car and did a great job as well! Even gave me a jar of jam as their little advertisement, "when you're in a jam". They have great options in complimentary snacks and drinks and definitely impressed my kiddos.. free gum ball machine! I'm hoping I don't have to go back for any other reasons BUT if I had to, I'd go back to them. Not too long ago I made the disasterous miscalculation error and scraped the rear passenger side door against a concrete pillar while parking. It sounded like sandpaper rubbing against the door. My heart sunk and I inspected the damage to see five long scratches on the door. My fingernails could catch in each of them, so a simple buff (which was initially tried) did nothing to fix the error of my ways. I had asked around work and was recommended to go to Kent Collision Center. Mind you I was very wary because I am initially wary of all things related to car repair. I have had terrible experiences, so I am immediately distrustful. But I couldn't let this go. I e-mailed the shop and told them the situation. I received a response within a couple hours from Aaron suggesting that I stop on by for them to have a look. I went down and met with Aaron who evaluated the situation. He told me that it was the best case in a bad situation because while I dug pass the clear coat, I did not dent the car. He gave me a quote and said that they were booked pretty heavy that week, so if I could come by in a week they could take care of me then. He estimated that if I dropped it off on Monday morning it would be done by Wednesday afternoon. He walked through the estimate and clearly explained line by line and it all made sense. I dropped off the car as planned but instead of getting it back on Wednesday I got it back on Tuesday afternoon. They arranged for Enterprise to pick me up and drop me off for the day that I didn't have the car. I enjoyed their calm dog who came by for head scratches when Aaron was not around. When Aaron was around she stuck close to him. They charged me exactly what was estimated which was very appreciated. And the car...the car was perfect! When I received it back I gawked and squealed because seriously it hadn't looked that good since I first bought it four years ago. It was so shiny and reflective and it had no trace, no blemish from my accidental clipping of a concrete pillar. And they even cleaned the inside! I mean, they wiped down the console, they vacuumed my floor mats, they cleaned the GPS. I sat there for a minute thinking I didn't want to touch anything because it all looked so pristine. It was beautiful and smelled of fresh paint. I did not mind. It was a great experience, fantastic customer service, and the jar of jam was a cute promotion. The only downside to having the car so clean and pristine is that now I am acutely aware of all the little door dings the car has received from various parking lots! read more

I got rear-ended by a drunk driver about a month ago, and after getting things arranged with my insurance and scheduling a repair, I dropped off my Mazda CX-5 before going on vacation. Competent and responsive with the willingness to bend over backwards to get your vehicle back on the road. They do all the heavy lifting while you sit back and wait. If you have some bumps along the repair process they will clearly set your expectations and deal with the insurance company so you don't have to. When it comes to finished product I can tell you my 2015 Camaro - which was damaged on the passenger side door and rear quarter panel - looks factory again. This is my baby and I bought her with 13mi on her. She looks like I just drove her off the lot. Amazing and unmatched workmanship not only due to their state-of-the-art Laser guided machines - but their experienced workers - who obviously take great pride in their work. I had wrecked my 2015 Ford F350 and it was a good amount of damage. I searched the web and found K.C.C. I reviewed the reviews and chose to bring my truck there. Definitely NOT A BAD CHOICE! They took care of me in every aspect of the repair. And since the parts list was 7 pages long and well into the 10's of thousands, it took a few months to get it back. and when I did I was nothing but happy. Learn customer service, your employees are the first contact with your customers and should be trained to speak to people with respect. So where do I start... First, on their website there is an option that says "need a quote?" Click on it and you can leave your information and a message about your car. So okay assuming that setup us for someone to call you, go over it with you on the phone and quote you not a set price but some type of idea based on what you said because they're the experts right? Well I called them instead because I wanted to get my acura in right away. Background on my acura -somehow a huge dent miraculously appeared on my driver side fender. The entire fender needs to be replaced and so I bought two new bad ass fenders for both sides and wanted them put on. Not my everyday driving car so I'm willing to wait for the best option. Anyways back to this review. -When I asked for the quote he said I would need to bring the car down, I said "I just need the fenders replaced, is there some type of estimate that I can get just for that, no other work needs to be done" the person on the phone said no and that they can't do that over the phone so I was a bit confused as to the purpose of their internet quote option. He then starts to tell me all the things that they would do and said they also paint. So I asked if they had any paint specials because I want to paint my acura black. He tells me $5000 for a paint job. $5000 FOR A FUCKING PAINT JOB!!! This paint better be bullet proof for $5000, paint better not ever chip, shit better withstand a nuclear war if they want me to pay $5000. I've never heard of a paint job costing $5000 damn dollars. He tries to tell me "well its not like maaco, we actually paint the entire car" yeah not my entire car. The car cost $7000 and you think I'm going to pay $5000 for a paint job? Gtfoh. They pick and chose who they want to speak to respectfully or tell the truth to because there is no way in hell that a regular ass paint job should cost $5000 damn dollars. Kent Collision knocked it out of the park with my Tesla Model S. The car was finished on time and came out looking like a brand new car! My wife and I are over the moon. In addition to doing a great job, they were about $1,000 less expensive than the other five quotes I got, which ranged from $3300-$5700. The only small negative comment I'd have is that they didn't do the best job cleaning the inside of the car. It had a strong chemical smell and apparently they forgot to clean the back of the car and around the lift gate. Wasn't a huge deal though. read more

I pulled up to the shop at 12:08 to see a sign on the door stating that they were closing early, at noon. As I was about to drive off, a gentleman walked out and asked me if I needed an estimate. I showed him my front bumper where I had clipped the post pulling into my covered parking. He took the time to not only look at it, but to go inside, get a solvent and rag, then proceed to all but remove all of the damage at NO CHARGE! He then stated that their detail person good buff it out if I came back. Not only did they save me money, but when I expressed my frustration at not being able to find a decent carwash in Washington, the owner quoted me a very good price to wash and vacuum out my car! Not too thrilled with the way they left the inside of my vehicle. Upon further inspection, they left black marks and stains all on the interior. On my visors, and on top. It's VERY noticeable. I am extremely unhappy about this. My car was NOT dirty when I gave it to them. They could've at least scrubbed these grease stains out. I asked for my car to look like new. That meant inside and out. Very unhappy, I guess I will have to try to use some Ivory and a rag and hope the stains come out. read more

Bought a 15 year old bmw for a great price so I brought it to Kent Collision Center for a full paint job. The previous owner had never been in an accident but the bumpers were wasted and down both sides were plenty of door dings including where chains came off a rear tire scaring the whole quarter panel. (Got it for a great price though!) I was a little worried it would cost a lot to fix when I bought it. The car came back just as beautiful as new and the damaged panels I was worrying about are smooth as glass. The car is a dark green so it shows all flaws, but front to back, I'm happy as can be!
