She is not overbearing or cruel but she's not easy on us, either. She helps explain the exercises and moves us a long at a pace we can handle but still challenges us. We learn the progressive nature of the exercises (one prepares for the next) and how to properly feel the exercise and do it correctly. The facility is clean, well-lit, warm and inviting. The staff are all very friendly and responsive. There are two or three changing booths and a bathroom. Filtered water is available to drink. They have flexible hours that fit even our weird schedule. I have never taken Pilates before but here I have learned tower, mat and reformer exercises. The instructors are all trained and certified in power Pilates. They have instruction classes for those wishing to be certified as instructors. I don't know much about the history or technique of Pilates, but I know that this is a great place to go and get started for anyone like me who is hesitant and doesn't like the workout crowd.

Ms. Gould has -Given me incentive to work out more frequently. -taught me techniques to strengthen my body through repetition exercises and core muscle training. -taught me various exercises using fitness balls, resistance bands, chairs and other home gym equipment. -challenged me to work harder to improve my stamina and balance. What I like most about Juliet Gould is her genuine enthusiasm for what she does, which is building strength and empowerment by helping me to reach my personal fitness goals. The workouts are varied to include Zumba, stretching, Yoga, Pilates, etc. Ms. Gould is mindful of my physical limitations, injuries, health concerns and works with me to design exercises that are tailored for my body. Since training with Ms. Gould, I have noticed an improvement in my body as it is leaner and stronger and I have been able to increase my workout time from one hour to an hour and a half.
