I contacted DARI RESTORATION for an estimate to remove some drywall in two connecting rooms where…read moremoisture remained from an old roof leak. There was some damage to wall where paint and tape were peeling, some mold started to show on the wall in addition to a slight musky smell from the moisture behind the wall. Prior to me calling DARI RESTORATION I had the roof repaired 5 months prior. I also, had an air quality assessment done ensure there was nothing toxic in the air for the mold I noticed on the wall tape. "Environmental Solutions Group" at a cost of $375.00 performed the assessment stating ALL air levels were normal and recommended that I have a restoration company do the repair to ensure that any mold behind the wall is removed correctly and completely. So, I called DARI RESTORATION and David and Juan came out on a Friday July 9, 2021, They spent about 30 minutes looking at the walls, thoroughly inspecting the attic and AC unit, living room area and garage for any active leaks or moisture. David tested the wall and found high moisture in one wall and stated the other wall appeared to be dry. The inspection resulted in no active leaks. Meaning the damage was from the pervious roof leak over 7 months ago. David explained it would be an easy fix to remove about 8 feet of dry wall, clean the area for any mold, remove any installation that may have gotten wet, dry the area out and replace the installation and DRYWALL. He explained that this was a common fixt; that they they do this type of repair often and it was a small job for them. No problem whatsoever. I was excited because it would elevate the slight mildew smell in the two rooms. David stated he would be in touch with an estimate and left. After a few minutes he came back to the door and said he spoke to his manager on the phone and he had gotten the estimated price from him. David said it was going to be about $1500.00 and they could begin on MONDAY. I said okay let's do it. I was okay with the estimate, not a problem at all financially, it seemed fair to me. Then I asked if that was for everything and he said yes, EXCEPT for putting the dry wall back! I was surprised at his answer. So I asked him to find out the cost of having the dry wall replaced. I wanted a full price for the complete job. I said I couldn't authorize the repair to begin with out knowing the full cost. He was very pleasant and said "I'll have my manager cost it out for you". He said they have another person that handles the replacement of drywall. Someone will be in touch with me on Monday. This took place on Friday July 9, 2021. There was no callback on Monday! No callback or follow-up on Tuesday so I called David got his voicemail and I left a message. On Wednesday I call David again, he answered and said he was out of the office on Tuesday he apologized and said again he would have his manager call me back. I said okay, I still wanted the work done. I just wanted to know how much for the job. So, I waited and waited and waited. After two weeks on July 28, 2021, I decided to follow up yet again, because I haven't heard a peep from David, his manager or his drywall repair person. I called, David picked up. He went on and on about how he thought the drywall repair person had made contact with me. He stated he had forwarded my information to him but, he had not heard back from him, so he assumed I did not want to have the work done. He apologized AGAIN and said he would again, follow-up and call me back by the next day. End of Story! He never called me. He never followed up. I called him three times about getting and estimate. just an estimate! Its been over seven weeks and I've heard nothing from DARI RESTORATION. Absolutely nothing from David or his manager or the so called drywall repair person. It's been over seven weeks of wasting my time... waiting on David and DARI Restoration! Thus, resulting in a very frustrated potential customer having to write this review! If DARI RESTORATION can't get giving the estimate right, I surely don't have any confidence in them performing demolition work (no matter how small the job) in my home. I don't know what to think of this type of Customer Service other than it Sucks. Did DARI RESTORATION actually think I would let them rip out walls in my home without an estimate of what it would cost to put the drywall back? I don't think so! My advise to everyone and anybody do your research when needing this type of repair work and if you come across DARI RESTORATION ..Do yourself a favor - Hit the next button or the delete button and continue your search for a more Consumer Friendly Company.

Our shower pan leaked and we came home to water pouring through our kitchen ceiling from our second floor bathroom. Todd was kind and helpful. He worked with us to get our project completed and our bathroom basically had to redone. It looks beautiful. Dari Disaster Mitigation & Restoration definitely places a great deal of emphasis on what the customer needs and wants. They were always professional and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend them without reservation.

Now this is a rental so the landlord handled calling them out and has been fantastic through the process. When an estimate of at least 2 to 3 months before re-entry to the property was given he did it in a month and over two holidays. The gist of it is that the piece of property was obviously not damaged prior to them arriving. I explained to them exactly how the damage occurred. They provided a couple of pictures and gave me an alternate theory as to how it happened and that what that they could not have caused the damage. Their theory didn't support H2O as the photos did not show the actual area where the damage occurred. I then provided them with photos of the actual damage. I also questioned why, if they were obviously concerned enough to take photos of the damage two hours after arrival, why they didn't feel it necessary to tell me when I was still there. At any rate, after some review they came back and advised that they were not going to repair or replace the damaged property. I could talk to my landlord about the damage. This decision, according to the person on the phone, included input all the way to the owner. Well I'm not doing that. The landlord has always been very responsive to issues, resolved problems and beat the companies estimate by nearly 2 months. And he didn't do the damage. So I'm left with telling this story and moving on. I am considering small claims litigation among other legal actions. But certainly my next complaint will be with the Chamber of Commerce/Better Business Bureau. Again, had this not occurred the rest of their work would have generated a much better review. However, they damaged something and refuse to set a positive corporate example of taking care of the damage they are responsible for.

I can understand some incurred cost, but this was excessive. I felt blindsided by the bill. The roofers covered up our skylight on the job as well, so we had to schedule them to come back and fix it. We spent days picking up nails around the yard to protect our dog from stepping on loose materials. I would not ever recommend this company. Please find another company.

I was a bit skeptical to let strangers on the roof, but they explained that they were able to get my neighbors roof covered by their home owners insurance at no cost UL other than their deductible. I let them take a look, and sure enough there was storm damage from hail and wind over the years. From there they took the reins, contacted my insurance on my behalf, incited the insurance adjuster out and met with him to show the areas of concern. And like that, I was approved for a new roof, minus my deductible. They ordered the r materials, arranged the work crew to come out, even had a dumpster delivered with a port-a-potty attached so they didn't have to come in the house. The whole process was painless and effortless on my behalf, other than having to listen to a day of banging and nailing on my roof, they were in and out in less than 2 days, leaving a beautiful new roof. My only complaint, and I should have checked is I still find roofing nails in the near the down spots when it rains. When cleaning the gutters I realized there were a lot of old pulled nails from tearing the old roof off. They could certainly work in their clean up procedure and check the gutters. But all in all I was very pleased with their work and their communication with the insurance company's, one less headache for me, and now I don't have to worry about an impending leak. I would recommend
