Today was my second visit with my wax specialist, Sara. She's warm, personable and knows her stuff. She had a shadow with her last month but today she was by herself. At both appts she did a mini consult (eyebrows) to make sure what I wanted with my shape. We have a game plan going forward to grow them out. Before and after treatment I was handed a mirror to point out areas that need attention and also to approve the final results. Waxing is not completely pain free but it's way more bearable compared to waxing at a hair salon. I typically use powder to fill in my brows. She showed me new products they offer to help with fly away hairs (eyebrow gel). They also offer baby powder and calming cream after your waxing service. After I was done, I was escorted back to the lobby to get preappointed and potentally leave gratuity. Making an appt is easy by phone or app. I purchase a service package and preappt for $$ perks. I get billed in 3 installments for Buy 9, Get 3 free...and then I'm good for the year. I get text confirmations and appt reminders. Due to covid, they prefer that you text when you arrive and wait in your car until your wax specialist is available. The facility is clean and modern. White walls/ floors with pops of red and black. Each room is similar. There is a stool, shelf and hook in the corner to place your belongings. There is a long table to lay on, with paper liner for cleanliness between clients. Even though it's a flat table, I find it relaxing to just lie back and close my eyes and get pampered.

Quoting they only booked me for 1.5 hours, then what were you even doing for that long? I have been a licensed cosmo for 20 years and HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A SHAM! They wouldnt even talk to me after I was done and upset. They demanded their money or else. So I paid 100 dollars for a set that I have to remove today to get redone tomorrow. I am calling the cosmetology board today because for some reason I dont think these guys are licensed.

I was not aware of what I was getting or what was going on my skin. The massage was ok, but the spa music was playing on Sarah's phone and her phone kept buzzing, interrupting the music...not the most professional. I also did not appreciate her making comments about my body. I get it might be a cultural thing but saying I am "so skinny! You must be less than XXX pounds!" Is absolutely not ok and very triggering. So yes, I am open to trying their other location but I will not be going back to see Sarah.

Decided to get a wax before I have my daughter and was dreading the pain, time & all that goes into a full wax lol.. but she exceeded my expectations. She's is QUICK QUICK!! I'm not sure also if she uses a different wax than my previous lady did but it was just way more pleasant. Less painful than I was anticipating and she was also so sweet kind and accommodating as well since I'm a week away from giving birth so she gave me pillows and made sure I was comfortable. She…read morehand crafts artificial nails and molds them to perfection...no nasty glue and plastic fingernail to get nocked off or that would ruin your nail bed. Heidi's native language is English. I hate that that's an issue, but it's important to speak the same language when trying to communicate what I want to have done. Heidi doesn't yank, rip or hurt me with her work. She is gentle, kind, and does QUALITY work. I'll never go to anyone else.
