The nicest couple I've ever met owns this place. It's well kept, remodeled, and we slept so good. We wish we had more time there because the bathroom was great and it had such a sweet country cabin feel. Check out is at 11am and be sure to get up early so you get coffee. There's only 11 rooms and it seems they do book pretty quickly. We were lucky to book the last one the same day in the afternoon. Lucky us! It was right off the 10 and definitely a great rate!

Love this place! It is family owned and you can tell you're in a small Texas town because they so are friendly and personable! We stopped here from a cross country road trip after a bad winter storm came in and made the roads icy and dangerous. They were not even going to be open during this night because they were going on a trip the next morning but decided to open the motel for the travelers to keep safe. How thoughtful is that! Seriously, they are super friendly. A HUGE PLUS is they allowed dogs and we had two that were with us on the trip. Its has eleven rooms (hence the name) and the parking is right in front of ur door so u can keep an eye on ur car even though there is no need to. The outside is well lit and this place is super cute. Not a five star hotel with huge flat screen and all the bells and whistles but its great either way. The small tv has HBO and Showtime and theres a small fridge and microwave. I will warn, however, that there is no stink vent in the bathroom so if ur staying with ur stinky brother like me id recommend bringing some air freshener. The beds are cozy, theres a cute rocking chair in the room, and a desk, a bench, and a small closet. I 100% recommend this place. Its quaint, family owned, and friendly. Its super cute and safe :)

How on earth did I miss doing a review for this place? Karen, one of the owners is the biggest sweetheart on earth... Someone had dumped a dog there at the hotel and when I met the big boy I fell in love! Problem is I had to go to Arizona to take my daughter to college but I promised to pick him up on the way back. When I was coming back through town Karen had our room ready for us and didn't charge us because we were giving the dog a home... How Charitable is that? And on top of that in the room there was a leash, a collar and some flea shampoo for us to use the next morning before we hit the road. Well enough about my story... The Eleven Inn is charming little roadside hotel and a perfect place to stay when you're out west especially if you're going to Balmorhea Springs! Down to earth places like this just make me happy. So does my dog Levinn, named after the Eleven Inn!

I'm in my room here at the "Eleven Inn" as I write this. I'm driving from South Lake Tahoe to Austin solo. Drove from Phoenix today only stopping for cash, gas, and sonic. Long day. I have had limited cell service all day and still do so I had my mother hunt me down a room. She found the 11inn. Wasn't quite sure at first but it wasn't long. got here and they were not on the property. I walked in and found a brochure and the key to my room on the desk with a note saying "son- we'll talk later- Karen". Cool, right? walked out of the door and they were pulling up. These are two awesome people! Their pup Sam is quite a guy too! Introductions were made and I made it to my room. I love it, I haven't laid down yet because I don't want to stop appreciating it!

After being cramped up in a car for three days, it was so nice to have a little room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, had lots of good storage, and had all the in room amenities we needed. The shower had good water pressure. There was also laundry out in the lobby that didn't require payment and everyone was using it courteously. The pool was indoors in a gazebo with sliding glass doors. The hot tub was broken, which we were pretty bummed about because we had sore backs from all the driving. The kids didn't care that it was broken though. The breakfast in the morning was a really good spread! There were options for every type of breakfast goer. You do have to show your buffet ticket in order to eat and you're not allowed to take food back to your room though, so we had to get everyone out all at once to eat. It was a nice stay overall, definitely recommend the plus over the basic Best Western.

The Best Western Plus Swiss Chalet Hotel & Suites in Pecos, TX has to be the best in town!…read more I decided it was time for a girl's trip that comprised of me, my mom, and my two young daughters. My mom enjoyed museum hopping and site seeing with us. She also got a really good night's rest here. As we left she referred to it as "a neat place." My daughters absolutely loved the pool and hot tub here - we had it to ourselves the night of 1/13/2024 and the following morning. They also raved about the hot breakfast with a cute little Texas-shaped waffle and a variety of boba pearls, including blueberry flavor. Yes, I said boba! We stayed in Suite #203. It was nice and clean with two double beds and a sleeper sofa plus two flatscreens and ample outlets. After taxes and fees, my rate was $160.99 The only pitfalls for me was the interstate noise which wasn't too bad, but I could also easily hear kids running up and down the hallway a few times. Additionally, we had to use towels from our room for the pool. At one point I had to go downstairs to ask for a blanket that I thought should have been supplied in the room as part of the sleeper sofa. Nice, friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend for families.

With a limited menu, we presumed anything ordered would be rather scrumptious. We decided to order the chicken fried steak along with the green chili bacon burger. We shared our dishes per, swapping plates half way through our respective meals. Our consensus was identical and is as follows: The green chili bacon burger was indeed the superior dish. In fact, it was quite delicious! The chicken fried steak was good as well, but the portion was a bit small and the sides were nothing to write home about. Was the burger worth $18? Probably not, but to be fair, I'm not sure that any burger is deserving of such a price. That being said, it was indeed a tasty burger if you don't mind the price. Was the chicken fried steak worth $20? Certainly not. Truly an average dish with small portions, we both feel the decision was regrettable at such a price point. In conclusion, with a juicy burger, an average chicken fried steak, and a limited menu with overpriced entrees, the Harvard Hotel receives a 3 star rating.

We were pleasantly surprised, especially given the "curb appeal" of the place!…read more This was our fist time visiting West Texas. We had done some research and realized that we needed to "set out expectations" for what to expect on our trip. That being said "Rustic" is an understatement!!!! Now, on to this particular establishment......... VERY laid back with self check-in/out. We only encountered two staff members during our stay, and they were both very friendly and "colorful" (in a good way). The accommodations, while small, and VERY RUSTIC, were clean, and thoughtfully laid out. It had ample places for our luggage, hanging clothes, toiletries, etc., and a kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and a sink which doubled for the bathroom sink. There was a make up dresser for my wife, with a mirror, but no hair dryer (which their website had stated would be the case, so no surprises there). The "compound" had a nicely appointed community pavilion, though it was a bit chilly at night when we were there, and we were exhausted, so we didn't use it. The bed was comfortable, and the heating/AC unit worked properly and wasn't unusually noisy. We left before the cafe was open, and they had closed by the time we checked in, so we didn't get a chance to try it, but the lingering food odor was wonderful, so we were a bit disappointed that we missed out. The ONLY comment I have is that the price, WHILE LESS THAN SOME OF THE OTHER PLACES WE ENCOUNTERED ON THIS TRIP, seemed a tad on the high end. We are generally a Hilton/Best Western/Holiday Inn Express type of client and we paid about the same for "Rustic" as we would for typical lodging at one of those establishments. That being said, this was the best lodging VALUE we experienced during our stay in West Texas, so not really a complaint. We would/will stay there again if/when we're out that way, again.
