Elham has been caring for our son for over 2 years, since he was 3.5 months old. It's not an easy thing to leave your child with someone else and she put us at ease from the moment we met her. She's warm and caring, and just as good with infants as she is with older toddlers. She provides detailed updates and continuous communication so that it truly feels like a partnership with your child's care. Whenever we've had special requests, she's been receptive and adaptable. We cannot say enough nice things about Elham and her family, because she has been a loving, patient, and kind teacher and caretaker of our child for the past four years. She truly loves all her kids and treats them like family! Not only do we know our son is well taken care of in a clean, safe home with a fun yard to play in, Elham is a great teacher and uses a preschool curriculum to teach all the basics in shapes, colors, letters, numbers, and writing starting at an early age. Our son never attended a typical pre-school, but starting school in the fall we know he is well prepared knowing alphabet and numbers, drawing shapes and letters, and even started getting into the basic math problems she teaches. It's such a great environment for learning and fun for kids of all ages - from mere months old our kid was consistently around a diverse group of babies and kids of all ages, which has helped him be very gentle with babies as he got older along with learning to be a good friend with kids his own age. We could not have asked for a better daycare for all these years, not to mention her rates are super reasonable for the area and she is always flexible and understanding for those times you need a bit earlier or later. We'll miss Elham when we have to leave, but glad another child will get to make a new friend and teacher! read more

We loved having our son go to daycare with Elham. She made it such a great experience for him since he was ~6 months old. She took great care of him, allowing him to safely play, learn and explore. We recommend Elham's daycare and rate it very high. Our kid has been going to Elham's daycare for ~3 years since he was 9 months old and he absolutely loves it there. Elham is very well trained and takes care of our kid as well as supporting his all-round development including academics (alphabets, colors, numbers, shapes etc.), manners and independence. We also get a daily report every afternoon with a photo of our kid and how his day was so far. We are so lucky to have found Elham. Before I became and elementary school teacher, I was director for a big preschool and afterschool and opened up new sites in the East Bay. Because of this, I know there are tons of requirements and was very picky in looking for a care provider for my daughter. We looked at so many different daycares, interviewed nannies, etc, but the second I walked into Elham's home, I knew this was it. We sat down in her living room and my husband was listening to her explain her care philosophy, but as I looked around, I knew this was the place for my daughter. Elham provides everything you are looking for - a safe, nurturing environment where kids are happy and can play with others. What sets her apart is she really meets the need of every kid while at the same time, putting the kids on a routine of napping, eating, and playing. Since I am a teacher, sometimes I pick her up at 3:00 or 4:00 or 5:00 so it can be random. Since I don't always pick her up during the pick-up time, I get to see my daughter outside playing with other kids, eating, and always having a good time. Elham always gives me a detailed report of diaper changes, overall mood, and how much she ate. She is very experienced so she can usually predict what's going on (I think she is growing a tooth. She cried a lot today, I think she is constipated) and she's always right. Our daughter started coming to Elham since she was 3 months old and now she is 13 months old. She will continue going as long as possible. The one thing that makes Elham the best and the reason I knew we wanted our daughter in her care, was that our daughter feels LOVED. Elham truly loves each and every child and our daughter is incredibly happy there. I'm pretty sure she would rather stay with Elham than go home with me sometimes!! We are so lucky to have Elham. Elham is like a second mother to my kids! She adores them and they love her and are so comfortable in her home. Our first child started with her at 15 months (stayed 2 years) and our second started at 4 months (still there) when I had to go back to work. We get a text every afternoon with a picture of the kids and a status report on how they've ate and slept, and Elham is available by phone or text throughout the day if we have questions or need to let her know about a schedule change. In addition to taking care of a group of babies and toddlers she also somehow finds time to teach them preschool lessons like letters, numbers, shapes, colors, time, date, etc! Her services are affordable and she sometimes has openings throughout the year from people moving away or enrolling in other pre K programs, so I would recommend her to anyone at any time of year. We are so thankful to have found Elham when we were looking for childcare for our 6 month old daughter. From the moment Elham opened her door & greeted us I knew this was going to be the perfect place for our daughter. What a sweet woman. She really tried hard to work with our schedule despite us needing her on the weekend. She was honest about her concerns and availability but was willing to trial with our schedule anyways. She's so inexpensive compared to others and I can tell cares deeply for the children she looks over. Her home is clean and beautiful. She helped us with the quote too. Unfortunately, our schedules weren't very compatible. So she didn't watch my son for very long and we figured out other arrangements with family. But wow! She's really awesome and kind hearted! Looking for a safe, enriching caregiving option for our 5-month-old (at the time) son was a daunting task for us as new parents. A great daycare !!! We entrusted our little boy Axel to Elham, from the moment we arrived until he entered Preschool and we have always been delighted with this choice! Elham is extremely gentle with the children, while teaching them to have a framework. We are both teachers too and the activities she offers have always been very interesting and of an excellent level. The activities are always adapted to the child's level and have always allowed him to progress and go further while having fun. You can tell right away that teaching is her real job and that she has the skills and diplomas to do it. Axel has always eaten very well with Elham, all meals are home cooked and the products are very varied and healthy. She develops a taste for variety in our children. Axel always went to daycare with enthusiasm and asked every morning if we were going to take him to school. The work done in class is regularly brought home and it is a pleasure to hang it on the wall because of the quality of the work. At two and a half years old, Axel knew his alphabet, knows how to count, knows many songs, is able to concentrate on an activity, loves puzzles and this is thanks to Elham. What we also liked about Elham is the spaces: a "Classroom" space, an outdoor recreation space (with toys, sandbox, trampoline, slide structure ...), an indoor recreation space in case of bad weather, all on the first floor, and the children go upstairs to eat and nap in the house, which allows them to have an airy and varied environment. Her two boys and her husband, whom we also meet from time to time, are very friendly and demonstrate the balance of this family daycare. Julia who helps Elham is also very sweet with the children and Axel likes her a lot. We couldn't have found a better place for our son and can only recommend Elham daycare 3000%! read more

Our son started going to Elham's at 10 months. We saw different daycares but Elham gave us the quick confidence and comfort that our baby is in great hands. When our twins were born 2 years ago, we were really torn on whether to go with a nanny or a larger daycare environment and, in fact, hadn't really entertained the idea of an in-home provider. That's before we visited Elham Daycare. Elham has taken care of my kids since they were 3 months old. Her home is clean and safe, but, just as important, she is kind and warm and loving and an amazing care provider. It was a great balance for us as our children were able to learn to socialize with a few other kids, while at the same time getting tons of attention. She has been extremely flexible with our ever-changing schedules, often opening up an hour early to accommodate my commute. She is almost always open, which is so important for working parents! We switched our son to Elham's daycare from a bigger daycare at around 21 months since he was falling sick quite often at the previous daycare. Once we switched him, we noticed a difference in him immediately. He adores Elham and so do we. Our son has been extremely happy at Elham's place. Every morning he runs to her from the car and waves a big bye to us during drop off. She is a very responsible caretaker always welcomes us with a big smile and greeting. She makes sure the babies are all always content, well fed and happy. She is very patient with the kids, and knows what they want to do and plans the day accordingly. Lot of educational activities are included as part of the day, our son has started saying his ABCD's recently which he learns from Elham during the day. At the end of the day during pick up, she gives a very detailed summary of what he ate, how long he napped and his general mood during the day. He loves his time in the backyard and the water activities during summer. Elham has been a blessing for our family, finally we all have peace of mind knowing our son is in good safe hands. Our son has been with Elham's daycare for close to 2 years. When he started daycare, he was pretty challenging. He would constantly not drink milk from the bottle and had trouble taking long naps. Within the second week of daycare, he started taking better naps and that habit continues till today, he naps about 2 - 3 hours and he is well rested and active for the evening. He always eats well for her and finishes his food and milk, whereas at home his eating pattern varies a lot. He is always excited to go to daycare and meet his friends and when we pick him up, he is always in a good mood. He works on ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes and songs at the daycare and its wonderful to see him imitate Elham going over ABCs and numbers. Elham is pretty accommodating and understanding when you are running late by a few minutes. The thing that I like the most is end of the day I get to hear what about all that happened in the daycare and I feel we have developed a good relationship over the past years.
