For quite a long time I was looking for someone that was knowledgeable about Brazilian Blowout and Keratin. Ok, so I've been going to Liz off/on for the past year. Ive recently relocated from NY and have tried her in addition to a few other stylists in the area. Liz is expensive, but uses great products. I had an appointment this past Saturday for a keratin treatment. She agreed to see me at 10 am , but had someone in the chair once I arrived. Long story short-she overbooked and as a result my service was delayed two hours. I went in at 10 and didn't leave until 1:30pm. I should have been done in 2 hours tops. She apologized by NOT giving me a discount, but a free deep conditioner treatment. I left in a bad mood and felt no loyalty whatsoever. On top of it all-she was supposed to clip my ends-but failed to do it appropriately. She only clipped the ENDS, but failed to cut all of my LAYERS! I take great care of my hair in b/w services and was not pleased!!! What an utter disappointment!!!! I had a job interview recently and decided to try Elizabeth's salon located in Beauty Mall (Aventura) because of it's yelp reviews and close location (where my nail salon is located). I called and Elizabeth was gracious to schedule my appointment. Arriving on time she was punctual and professional. Her salon is clean and stocked with some traditional products and plenty for all hair types. She offered me coffee and was not insulted when I provided her with my own shampoo (WEN). She took her time combing my curly hair and made suggestions to help my hair health. Her trim (1 inch) was just what I needed. The only advice I can give is how to find this place. It's a little confusing but just look for the publix plaza and it's right above the Cuban guys sandwich shop and the supercuts. This place is by far the best salon I've been to since I left my prior stylists of 10 years. She washed, cut and conditioned my hair with love. I cried when I left because I hadn't received that much hair love in one year. She did what I needed most: hair care. She rinsed with cold water which closes the hair cuticle. It's shiny and bouncy. I love her dearly. I'm coming back. She refused to cut more than I needed when I wanted to cut off more. She treats you with white gloves. Which is how it should be. read more

I called and asked if they could take me and although they were busy, they went out of there way to make sure I did not wait and started doing my hair ASAP.
