Eli came out early in the week and cut a hole in my shed floor to remove a hive. He charged me $500. He relocated them to a plastic box and left. He said he'd be back on Friday. In the meantime, the queen and the hive got out of the box and flew off somewhere. He never called or returned for the bees. I feel this was inhumane for the bees to sit in a plastic box for days in the sun. No wonder they flew off. Hopefully, they didn't relocate to another area of my yard. I contacted Eli yesterday after my gardener told me about a cluster of bees at ground level in the front yard. Eli answered the phone right away, asked me a few questions. I sent him a brief video of their activity, and he was out to the house a couple hours later. He came out of his truck with a warm, friendly smile, and the enthusiasm of a young child ready to engage in activity with his favorite hobby or toy. He saw the bees on the ground, then looked up and saw the hive in the palm tree. Eli then suited up, got his ladder and box to retrieve the hive, then managed to entice many of the remaining bees into the box containing the hive. The whole process took no more than 20-30 minutes, including his fielding our many queries. Eli is personable, knowledgeable, professional.
