This is such a unique concept and they have a great location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. I can't believe I've never been in here before, me and a girlfriend came here last Saturday and we smelled everything. They give you card and a pencil with a long list so you can check the ones you like most. They have so many scents to sniff. We both LOVE the molecule scent which was the stand out. I'm going to go back and concoct my own signature perfume. It's like chemistry class only WAY more fun! They let you have vials and droppers so you can add whatever scents you chose. We were on the hunt for a truly non-toxic perfume and discovered Elia Parfum in Newport Beach--and it ended up being such a fun, memorable experience. We were able to create our very own custom perfume from start to finish. Smelling all the different scents, narrowing down our favorites, and then working with one of the team members to blend them together in varying ratios until we found the perfect combination was so enjoyable. Once we finalized our blend, we even got to name our perfume and have the bottle engraved, which made it feel extra special. I'm extremely sensitive to fragrance--I usually can't spend more than a minute in a perfume or candle aisle before getting a headache and needing to leave. But at Elia, I smelled every single scent and every custom blend option, and I never once developed a headache. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and non-toxic nature of their fragrances. I'm so excited to wear the perfume my husband and I created together. This would make such a fun date day/night, bridal shower activity, or girls' night out. If I could give more stars, I would!!! I came here with my family and my best friend (and her family) for Mother's Day to make perfume. The experience was magical Amanda and her associates were so helpful and gave great tips and advice for making my own custom scent. My kids also made me a custom fragrance and the staff was super helpful with that process, as well.
