After a long day galavanting around the parks, your scent may be less than pleasing to the passerby. Have no fear, a parfumerie is near! Bewitch your betrothed with a scent for every palette as this store has quite the selection. This is a great shop if you are into perfume or cologne.

Mlle. Antoinette's Parfumerie in Disneyland's New Orleans Square is unique among Disneyland stores that it does not sell Disney-themed merchandise. (Even the nearby Pandora boutique around the corner sells only Disney-licensed Pandora charms.) Instead, this small shop sells Guerlain perfumes, skincare, and cosmetics. The store's selections previously included other LVMH-owned brands like Dior, Givenchy, and Acqua di Parma, but no longer; as such, the cases and counters look a little bare. And the stock was on the thin side, as well: Only two men's fragrances were available (L'Homme Idéal and Vétiver) -- no Habit Rouge, Héritage, L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme, etc. On the women's side, Mitsouko, Samsara, Jicky, Vol de Nuit, Nahéma, Jardins de Bagatelle, Chant d'Arômes, and Chamade were missing -- along with Shalimar. (Which begs the question, can one really consider it a Guerlain boutique without Shalimar?) The Absolus d'Orient line was down to one option; the L'Art et La Matière collection is not offered. For cosmetics, Météorites (finishing powder) was all I saw, no color to speak of. Guerlain -- a nearly two-century-old perfume house that has produced many legendary fragrances -- is harder and harder to find these days, and it would be great if Mlle. Anotinette's stocked the full line consistently. On the bright side, the store stocks Après l'Ondée, a delicate scent from 1906 that evokes the scent of violets after a spring rain shower. And how strange to think that a shop just steps away from the Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the few places to buy Queen Elizabeth II's favorite perfume, L'Heure Bleue, which she first wore on her wedding day. The shop also carries a large selection of Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria line of lighter, botanical-inspired scents made from predominantly natural ingredients and sustainable French beetroot alcohol in refillable bottles. Prices are full MSRP, but cut-rate perfume deals are getting harder and harder to find (while counterfeits flood the gray market). And as price reductions on fragrance are impossible to find at retailers, the Magic Key, Club 33, or Disney employee discounts are not a bad deal at all here. Mlle. Antoinette's is one of those little discreet locations that even relatively few Disneyland cast members seem aware of, but they offer something rather special in the sea of Minnie ears and character popcorn buckets.

This perfume shop sells some unique perfumes that you won't find at Sephora at Downtown Disney AND you can get an annual passholder or cast member discount. Perfumes of this caliber are RARELY discounted so if you're a passholder or cast member I'd recommend perfume shopping here first. I came here a few years ago and they had a perfume that you couldn't find any where else outside of Italy or Paris. The store itself is something to marvel at in that it's got a Victorian feel inside. It's great to peruse if you're in the area and need a break from the hustle and bustle of Disneyland park.

This is a small perfume shop in New Orleans Square. The perfumes and colognes are expensive. However, they will give you an idea of what the scents smell like with their testers. They'll either spray a piece of paper or upon request they'll spray it right on your skin. The kind person behind the counter was kind enough to spray some $500 cologne on my arm. It was nice walking around the park smelling like a man who could afford such an expensive cologne :-).

Left bottle De Givenchy middle bottle is J'Adore Dior, painted as requested.

This location is tucked into The Arbor Village Center so it's surrounded by other eateries and businesses. Most people familiar with this plaza know that parking is a headache during lunch and dinner hours. I would not want to be here if it was overly crowded, but thankfully that wasn't the case when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. My friend recently visited Japan so she wanted to stop by to show me their popular haircare products. We ended up spending a whole hour here and I've added more products to my wishlist for the near future. I also walked out with a purchase and can't wait to try it. Notes: ~ Hours of operation are 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM daily ~ Opened in 2018 and it's a smaller store but they still carry wide range of cosmetics, skin/hair/oral/ personal hygiene care products, toys, snacks and lifestyle items (not just Japanese ones, but also trendy Korean and a couple of Chinese brands) ~ Prices are actually not outrageous (some products appear cheaper than the Japanese and Korean markets) ~ Aisles are a bit more narrow here so please be patient ~ There's a spacious sink in the back of the store for hand washing after testing out the wide variety of beauty products ~ Store associates are nice and ready to help find any product ~ Partnered with Fivestars for their loyalty program ~ Sometimes they offer deals like spend $50+ to receive a free gift ~ Products approaching end of shelf life are placed right by the checkout counter (items can be between 30-70% off) ~ Mobile payment accepted

The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

I love the idea of community gardens but couldn't it have been designed as a green house and is it possible to be updated? The area most definitely attracts natural bugs, birds, and probably too much sun which ends up ruining the crops, right? If it was indoors, instead, it could be cool and more monitored and automatic sprinklers could be added and the community can just pay a small fee for the upgrade. The roof of the green house could be solar powered and could be used to keep the place lit if needed at night or early morning or in the day; and it the can have power for the eco now building too. I was just thinking, because if the company is trying to be full on waste free then that could be a cool upgrade to the place. There can be monitors and cameras to the place if intruders try to break in or mess things up. Overall, Eco Now is super cool and doing good.
