Wonderful wines! I had the pour decision which is a mixture of whites and reds-fantastic. And the BEST charcuterie tray we've ever had! Lovely outside patio with a ceiling fan. Service was very attentive and bonus is they are a Harvest Host. We will definitely be back. read more

Tasting room is indeed wheelchair accessible, has great wines, wonderful staff, and good music/special events. However, the reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is that the restrooms are NOT wheelchair accessible. It's an inconvenience for me and thus, I can only stay for a short period of time before nature calls. read more

Great tasting format ($6 choose any 5 wines you want). 2016 Tempranillo was amazing and unique exclusive Charbono was delicious too. Really liked the Malbec as well. Tasting room fun with free Centipede and PacMan/Galaga arcade game, free jukebox, and shuffleboard. Felt like we were a burden and not necessarily welcomed as the tasting room manager/owner Jamie repeatedly mentioned she hadn't slept, was tired, and had too much to do. I honestly felt bad for her as she had some events coming up as well, but felt like our being there was keeping her from sleeping or doing something else. Just a bummer of a tasting experience. While in a stopover in Medford on our roadtrip back home to socal, we wanted to see if we could get some wine tasting in. We went to one place that was only okay but wanted a stronger offering of REDS. They referred us to StoneRiver. The facility was very nice and atmosphere is great for hanging out and tasting wine. One of the owners, Jaime was our host and excellent in educating us on some new grape we had not heard of (Tempranillo). They cover a large selection (13 Varietals) and all were very good. You can either try indoors or sit outside on the covered porch. If you are looking for a quiet off the beaten path (it does take a little effort to get there) and full selection vineyard, this is it. Came across this place on Yelp and saw the good reviews. They have a lot of outdoor seating and nice views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The indoor area is like a bar with bar games, which is fun. We did a tasting where you get to choose whichever 5 wines you want (except for the member-only wines). I tried an assortment of whites and reds. They were excellent. I particularly liked their zinfandel. We took a few bottles home. The lady doing the tastings was super nice and would come out to check on us and bring us our next tasting. I would definitely come back! read more

There are fancier wineries but Stoneriver has the best wine I have tasted in this Valley. The best Tempranillo and Petite Sirah I have tasted was a 2016 at Stoneriver. If it is good you better buy it fast because they run out quickly. I went back in a few days for the Tempranillo and...gone. As of 7/30/22 They have a Petite Sirah that is best I have had; as it should be, dark bold and rich with flavors of cherries, blueberry, raspberries, and dark chocolate finish. No wimpy pours for tasting. I always find a great wine here I have to buy. Also as of the 30th they have a unique Rose from a Tempranillo grape with skin removed to keep it a light Rose flavor. Guests are greeted with an absolutely gorgeous setting! And there are two beautiful old cars that are parked off to the side, which gives a very antique-y, whimsical feel. Once inside, the lighting is perfectly glowing among the tasting room's rustic vibe, with lots of different wooden textures and warm colors. There's a really cool shuffleboard that the guests can play until their hearts' content, too! StoneRiver offers seven wines: two Merlot, one Syrah, one Rosé, one Chardonnay, one Viognier, and one Pinot Gris. You can taste ALL of them for only $5, which is the best deal I've ever come across while wine tasting! My friends and I had fun with the jukebox while we sipped our wine and talked with the owner, who is a very welcoming and friendly host, and she also told us about the history of the land and of the vineyard. All in all, it was a very wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! read more

I am not local, I'm from the Bay Area and had a girlfriend recommend I try out Stoneriver while I was in town. I was not disappointed. I was so intrigued to find out that they have a young woman (she said her name was Jamie) working in the tasting room from Sonoma County. She informed me of all of the wines, types of grapes, and the process used to create each variety. She also informed me that she grew up working in the wine industry and attended junior college for it, as it is a passion of hers. She was very knowledgeable, approachable, and created an environment that felt so welcoming (which was much appreciated since I am an out-of-towner.) I highly recommend stopping by whether you are traveling through the area or local and haven't had the chance to yet. The selection of wines are so unique. I will definitely be coming back! This vineyard and tasting room is so cool and fun to look at. Before you enter the tasting room outside there's these old classic cars that are excellent for picture purposes. The setting is rustic and very laid back and an extremely family feel to it. The tasting was great and extremely fair pricing.
