The kids' menu also listed milk as a drink option, but when we asked for milk, she told us they don't carry it. The lobster cakes were okay, but my husband's pork chop was overcooked, my salad tasted moldy, and the kids' pizza was terrible. The biggest issue was that our server never came back to check on us after our food was served. Because of that, I didn't have the opportunity to let her know about my salad or ask for a replacement while we were eating. When I asked about a refund for the salad, I was told they couldn't refund it simply because I didn't like it. That was frustrating, especially since I had barely eaten it because it tasted spoiled. Having worked in several restaurants myself, I've always been taught that if a customer is unhappy with a meal and hasn't eaten it, the restaurant should either replace the dish or remove it from the bill. There was also an appetizing spread of finger foods, charcuterie, and crudités. A live music group with a nice repertoire of memorable tunes gave people a reason to dance. Toward the end of the event, when activities started to slow, Linda provided a tour of the indoor space with casks.
