Many places weren't offering services for rock chip mending or asked to schedule a week or so in advance. Glassworks answered the call and said they could get me in tomorrow (awesome!), pondered a bit, and asked me to come in later this afternoon and he'd try to squeeze me in (even more awesome!). Told me that it would be $65 and doesn't take insurance, which was totally fine. I really appreciated how upfront and transparent he was about the process even without me asking for a quote. Like planned, I rolled in around the expected time and was greeted immediately. He evaluated the chip from outside and in, and laid me the review: it wasn't star-shaped so there was no worry of it expanding. He said I could pay him anyway if I really wanted to patch it, but the whole conversation was relaxed and no pressure whatsoever. Very friendly and super efficient with both of our time and energy. So that was that. It's sad to see that there aren't that many reviews here! They are super lovely, honest, and professional and I would definitely recommend using them if you're in the South King County area! Despite the various cars parked around the lot, it was easy to pull in and get out. Also since it's a small lot not connected to other lots, there was no pressure in waiting to do the right turn to Pacific Highway (just in case people might feel wary about the turn!).

They didn't charge much extra for those and really helped me like the look of the car better. They also did some extras gratis. They sent me pictures as they did the job and really helped me to get excited about their excellent work. I enjoyed the car for a year, did the proper care for it by hand washing regularly, reapplying the coating every few washes. Was really blown away at our 1 year appointment--they got a few stains out of the interior for a modest fee and now my car looks like new both inside and out again. The normal fee for the annual appointment to refresh the coating was $165 and they charged me just a fraction of that extra to take care of the minor interior stains and professionally condition the leather. They earned not only their fee but great tips each time I went because they far exceeded my expectations. I'm so happy I chose to give this shop my business.

I felt confident that after a short conversation with multiple staff, the film choice was the right one. I left them with my new luxury SUV, which already had privacy glass that they had to tint over. After the service was done, it was completed on time with extra care. I believe two to three individuals worked on the car, and it was absolutely flawless. When I got inside, it was hard to imagine it was the same car. A corneal disease impacts my ability to drive with lots of rain on the ground or at night. These folks were great about getting me the right film that took care of the car. The one additional thing that I would add is that after the install, there was a small bubble on one of the windows. It wouldn't go away after a couple of days, and I was concerned. When I returned, they assured me that within a week, with the hot temperatures and parking in the sun, it would go away, but scheduled a replacement appointment under warranty at no cost regardless. Just days before the appointment, I was happy to call them back and say that it cured perfectly. I couldn't recommend these guys more. They're absolute experts at what they do. The price is absolutely phenomenal, and they certainly have experience working on extremely high-end cars. Strongly recommend.

I was greeted in a way where I felt I already knew them so it made figuring out what exactly I wanted done a whole lot smoother. Steller Glass has worked on 3 of my vehicles. They have replaced a windshield, fixed a bad tint job from another company, tinted my taillights and did fog light overlays for me. WA state RCW states…read moreit's illegal to perform an unsafe & inproper windshield install as it introduces a safety hazard as it's considered part of the structural integrity of the vehicle in the event of a collision or roll over. We had them replace our windshield on our 99 Chevy Suburban 3/4/26. A rock had hit our windshield causing it to crack beyond repair, & we had told them there was a water leak by our rear view mirror. Upon picking up our car we noticed the windshield was no longer sitting flush & had nearly a 1/2 inch gap. And they left rust dust & dirt all over our dash, cd player, & gauges. They ensured us it was correct & if it leaked to bring it back as we have a lifetime warranty on the install. Within 1 hour of picking up our car it was leaking from the windshield in places it hadn't before due to the improper install. They told us to bring it back today at 10am & but we were only met with hostility. The male owner literally cussed my husband out refused to do the leak test threw our keys at my husband from across the room assaulting him, & told us to get out. My husband was calm the whole time. The female owner reluctantly stepped in & said she would do it while the male owner kept telling her not to. My husband asked if he could come back to watch her do the test & she angrily said no. So he watched her from the counter, while I watched her from parking lot as I had a direct view. She didn't even finish the leak test before she was slamming our car door into a ladder & it made us feel uncomfortable so my husband asked if he could have the keys back if she wasn't going to treat our vehicle with care. She started cussing him out telling us there's nothing wrong with their install & literally said, "if we didn't have a piece of shit car that's falling apart there wouldn't be an issue." She angrily came flying around the corner with our vehicle & got out cussing , yelling, & physically was up in my husband's face pointing fingers in his face, literally screaming at him. I walked over to try to calmly deescalate the situation & before I could even speak the male owner ran up to the door & locked us out. We had to call the police to assist & file a report. The officer even noted the gap was not appropriate. The owners REFUSED to let the officer watch the footage on their cameras, which he said people often do when they are in the wrong. They stole our money, giving us a bad install & refused to make it right, essentially voiding the lifetime guarentee they claim they have on all their work. When I booked it & asked if they guarantee their work Merle laughed & lied stating, "of course! We have a lifetime guarantee, the owner takes great pride in his work." They said everything they needed to to get our business but as soon as they had our vehicle they intentionally scammed us. They knew they did a bad install when they did the job & knew if they could say whatever they could to make us feel comfortable enough to pay & leave they wouldn't EVER have to make it right. We've already been told just based off of photos by 2 other local windshield repair businesses that their install is not only improper but an illegal install job requiring another windshield to be installed. We already scheduled an appointment to have their install inspected for documentation so we can file a complaint with the attorney general & a civil suit to get our money back since they refused to correct their improper install. DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR BUSINESS OR YOU RISK BEING SCAMMED AS WELL! Read the other reviews, ANYTIME they do something wrong the owners refuse to make it right, ripping people off seems to be his MO. We should have gone to LUCKY DOG in Kent, we hear they are the BEST, but this place was closer. BAD DECISION on our part.

Greg at the front desk is super knowledgeable and helped select the Memento and also my re-tint of the windshield and front row side windows; I picked the top of the line ceramic film which has excellent heat diffusion (since I am moving to Hawaii, the tint laws were quite specific and Greg and the tint crew professionally applied the required 70% VLT. I love how it looks! The owner was also there overseeing the busy shop and she does a great job! Well-stocked and new paint, etc. Scott has installed alarms, sound, dash cams, sound insulation on my last three cars; he is the best in the Northwest, no doubt!!
