I walked in and they had an immediate opening. I got Nu (I think this is how you spell her name) to do my nails. She did a pedicure. I really liked how thorough she was. They even do a bit of a hot stone after. I got a really light colored Essie Pink (see attached image). I tried to put it on my foot but it didn't take as well as I would have hoped. Luckily, I was able to tell Nu and she quickly removed my nail polish and found a suitable alternate with no complaints. I ended up getting a manicure. The Essie light pink looked better on the hand vs foot. She did a great job. My polish lasted for more than a week which is a real rarity. The only downside is the driers are pretty far from where they were doing my nails. They do accept Venmo with tip which added to the convenience.

Making an appointment this way was quick and easy and the communication through the messaging was good! I had high expectations and walking into the salon because this place is rated 4.5 stars but my excitement fell flat when I walked in the door and was approached (not greeted) by a woman asking me if I had an appointment, I said yes. I can't recall if she asked my name but she walked me to a manicure station and started the process to remove the dipping powder. Once my nails were wrapped, she instructed me to sit at another station. Minutes later, another woman completed the process and then cut and shaped my nails. She talked about what she was doing while shaping my nails and was more affable than the first woman I encountered. The atmosphere of the salon is dry and cold and did not feel "spa-like" at all... There was a tv on with closed captioning and the only sound that I remember hearing was chatter, which was a mixture of the technicians speaking amongst themselves and the conversation of some patrons (who I believe were teenaged girls). If I could, I would have rated this place 3.5 stars: 3 stars because I received the service that I wanted and they were able to accommodate me with short notice. After the pandemic I was very cautious of going to nail salon. Many nail places don't properly disinfect the pedicure tub and the jets , reuse of manicure instruments / nail files and products are put in reused plastic soap containers. Yuk! Most important, I want to relax, not wait in line and not be in a room with 50 people - super loud- people lined up next to you - no privacy. . I drive by my old nail place and can't imagine going back to a place like that no matter how cheap the cost. La Belle is busy with customers but I'm usually have 2 seats between me and the other customer. Relaxing instrumental soft music , no TV and no loud shouting across the room (lol).
