My mom wanted to travel through South America, down to Argentina and then hop on a cruise to Antarctica. I've always seen deals for cruises to Antarctica from Argentina. So I had her call Albert for some advice on this type of journey. To my surprise, my mom had a terrible phone conversation with Albert. Not only was Albert rude to her, he criticized her for supposedly confusing him with her questions. The most shocking part was when he questioned why she would travel to Antarctica and that it was super hot! Um, really? I have no idea why he would think Antarctica is hot. Last I checked, it's -24 degrees Fahrenheit down there! And this was just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended). He then proceeded to tell her that he was really busy and that she was wasting his time. Told her to just go to his office instead. I understand if she's not a customer and just a random caller with questions. However, she was a referral from a customer. Even if she was just a random caller, why be rude to the person? The whole "Antarctica is super hot" comment was just perplexing. A travel agent made this comment...a travel agent. And to make her feel stupid for asking about cruises to Antarctica was unnecessary considering these cruises DO exist. The poor treatment of a referral from a regular customer was very disappointing. Needless to say, I'll be searching for a new travel agency.

Just finished our Europe Delight tour and I had the best time. I want to keep this review short and…read moresuccinct: PROS: -Very knowledgeable tour guides! Our tour guide was Steven and he's the wittiest and most cosmopolitan! Our other French guides were equally great! Some of the Italian ones though are a little bit hard to understand -Great hotels! Clean and all 4-star! My favorite was the one in France because of the rainshower (or whatever you call it). -We got to see a lot of places in the short amount of time ( which can be hectic for some but I already knew what I signed up for so I was game!) -We almost didn't get to go in the St. Peter's Basilica (as the Pope made a last min decision to say a mass for the youth) but the Steven, local tour guide Maria and bus driver Vincenzo made it all possible by switching up our itinerary and maneuvering our way around the Vatican. -Some dinners are already provided in trip so that was awesome -The last dinner we had on the tour was in Italy and both tour groups (RItz and Peony) had wine, dinner and free entertainment courtesy of a soprano and tenor! We had a lot of fun! CONS: -Can be hectic - sometimes you don't get to the hotel until 9pm and wake up call is 6am -Time at tourist spots can be limited -There is a lot of walking so make sure to wear sturdy and comfortable shoes! Tips: -Make sure to bring a universal adapter! We had to borrow one from the hotel lobby -and sometimes they're out! London, Paris, and Italy are all different! Wifi is NOT free in the continent (in the hotel lobby it is) -Make sure to pay the optional trips and tour guide and driver tips first before you run out of shopping money! -Change money beforehand. We had ours exchanged in Chase. Looking for a money changer can be problematic -Sometimes you have to pay for restrooms (1 euro or 50 cents) -Watch out for pickpockets!

There were NO alternative options for patrons to order what they wanted for dinner. A lazy Susan style of serving was offered while group hands touched all the dishes. Very unsanitary. There were no accommodations for special diets, such as, vegan or vegetarian, kosher or non-meat eating persons in the group. This issue was brought up to the leader, Wei Wei, who did not make any changes to the already paid for lunches & dinners! If you didn't like the food, tough luck. If lucky, I had white rice & bread for lunch & dinner. I went to bed hungry every night! A total waste of over $7000.00! I would never recommend Ritz Tours to anyone & am spreading the word!

Based on their recommendation, I decided to book our trip through AW for what would be my nephew's and my first visit to Japan. Even before our journey began, I was impressed by their customer service. I contacted the team several times with different questions while planning our trip, and they were always responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They provided clear information and made me feel confident that we had chosen the right agency. From the moment we arrived in Japan, everything was flawlessly organized. Ann, who greeted us at the airport, was waiting with a sign displaying our names, making us feel immediately welcomed. She then escorted us to our driver, who accompanied us throughout our itinerary. Every transfer was punctual, smooth, and stress-free. The itinerary was well planned, easy to follow, and perfectly paced. Every hotel exceeded our expectations--from the seamless check-in process, which our tour guide Lee assisted us with, to the beautiful rooms, outstanding breakfast buffets, and excellent amenities. Several hotels even offered gyms, spas, swimming pools, and traditional hot springs, which made our stay even more memorable. A special thank you goes to our tour guide, Lee. He was exceptional--attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. His passion for Japan, its history, and its culture truly enhanced our experience. Every city and attraction we visited was thoughtfully organized, allowing us to enjoy each destination without worrying about logistics. The included dinners were delicious, and we also chose to participate in several optional excursions that were not part of the original itinerary. Those experiences were absolutely worth it and became some of the highlights of our trip. Overall, our experience with AW exceeded every expectation. Their attention to detail, outstanding customer service, exceptional accommodations, and well-organized itinerary made our first trip to Japan truly unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend AW to anyone planning a trip to Japan or any of the other destinations they offer. We are already looking forward to booking our next adventure with them! This version is polished for a 5-star review while still sounding personal and authentic. It emphasizes the quality of the service, accommodations, and guide in a way that is likely to be helpful to future travelers.

10 days 8 nights Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini & back to Athens with Affordable World in September…read morewas wonderful. But a bit breeze & cool. I would recommend a sweater or jeans jacket. If you get the opportunity upgrade the hotel in Athens ONLY, the hotels in Mykonos & Santorini were up to my standards but the 1 in Athens, Athens Avenue Hotel I would recommend do an upgrade. We frequent a restaurant across the street from the hotel called A Little Taste of Home Restaurant. The restaurant food was very good. We started off in Athens which I thought the tour to the Acropolis and museum the tour guide was long winded & lost a few of the group due to boredom. People started venture off on their own to view the sites instead of standing in 1 place listening to her talk for about 30 mins. Also I was disappointed that the tour didn't include us stopping and seeing the changing of the guards & the Olympic circle, we only were able to view these from the tour bus which wasn't ideal. At the end of the tour in Athens my group ventured off looking for food & found the Psaras Tavern a beautiful picturesque restaurant with beautiful & tasty food. The tour guide initially warn us about pickpocketers & we encountered 2 groups of pickpocketers 1 was after we left Psaras Tavern & did a bit of shopping a young couple in their twenties were attempting to start pickpocketing but we interrupted their plan & they walked away. Then we saw a older guy in his 60's with a woman in a wheelchair & another guy tried to get close to us but my group was fully aware & on alert which deterred them from any more attempts to pickpocket our group. Due to rough winds which delayed us traveling by ferry to Mykonos we arrived at night instead of early morning and lost 1 day in Mykonos. I will say the ferries are not for the weak. You have to pull your bags onto the ferry while cars and even trucks are driving off the ferry. There are crowds of people trying to enter the ferry. Then you leave your bags and go to your seats. The seats and ambience on the ferries are nice but the boarding and disembarking is a bit rough. You can also purchase food on the ferries. Mykonos was wonderful and the hotel was splendid. The walking tour I really enjoyed it the tour guide was nice, informative & showed us all the great places & even gave us recommendations of restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious there only wished we didn't lose a day there. Then another ferry ride to Santorini which was also wonderful the hotel was gorgeous. The walking tour was nice but the tour guide wasn't patience with the older guests who couldn't walk as fast as her as well as people perusing the different shops. The experience was a bit like fast food we were rushed. However with the days there some of my group went on a yacht tour, wine tour etc. some adventured on their own to Fira and Oia for shopping and great eats. We went to Naoussa Restaurant and ate good food and broke plates. We also went to the Greek Wedding Show which was wonderful and funny & we also broke plates. Then returned back to Athens for 1 more day and the departed home. Overall it was a great trip

When we…read morewere stopping by a hotel to pick up people, all the other tour group buses were nicer than ours. The bus was very uncomfortable, especially seats at the back, which are even more shallow. We had to sit in this old bus for the first and the last days. Last day was ok since seats change and moving to the front is more spacious. The tour guide was mediocre, talked way too much. Yet not really useful information, repeating things over and over again. Yet she was super unclear about were to meet up and unorganized. Also her attitude was not very friendly, rude at times. Still we have to pay the tip, she really deserved less than $8 per day. I remembered the morning of the 2nd day, we had to wake up as early as 5:10AM to go to Antelope Canyon. Which is okay, because ai understand that traveling with a group, we must head out early and work as a team. I was expecting at least a "good morning, how was your sleep" to everyone. NOO she didn't , she just asked everyone " what's your group number, it felt like counting sheeps. The agent Miss Li told me that the tip will be $8 per day per person. I have confirmed this with her. But in reality, the second day tour guide, a man this time, asked for $10. This was not what the agent told me. I don't like to be lied to. If you want to charge $10, then say so in the beginning, don't change the price from what you originally have promised me. It's not the problem of the extra $2, it's about keeping your words and being trustworthy, which they have failed to do. The guy tour on the second day was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. However he only used Chinese. My boyfriend do not speak Chinese, and same goes for few other people on the bus. Inconsiderate. The only good thing about the trip was the attraction places itself, the Antelope Canyon and Las Vegas. And also the cheap price of about $230 per person including tips and hotels and transportation. We got the buy two get one free option. But with no third person. If a third person comes, it would be even cheaper.

Tour guide is chatty, she is bilingual and her english is clear, not like some chinese tour guide which i encountered before whch is hard to listen. Though she is sometimes bit harsh to passenger if they are late, but so far i like the promptness, no time waste, and she will let you know exactly what you need to do in advanced! Supera did an excellent job in showing us the highlights of this beautiful country. We were spoiled and treated like VIPs throughout. Highlights include: Temples - so many Buddhist temples, beautiful and unique. Elephant sanctuary - A highlight! Up close and personal with these majestic creatures. We walked with them, made and fed them medicinal treats. Tuk Tuk tour - a VIP tour of the streets of Chang Mai. So fun and enjoyable. Hotels resorts - beautiful, elegant and top service including massages and buffet breakfasts. Food - Supera goes out of their way to handpick local specialties that most tourists don't know about. The food was unique and delicious. A real treat. Transportation - buses, longboats, flights - all handled for us, including all luggage transfers. Our tour guide Betty Tsai. What a pro! She's the perfect mix of organization and keeping it fun. Her attention to detail kept us moving smoothly through the trip. She even managed to work with the Mandarin Oriental to get me a personal item I accidentally left at the hotel after checkout. Ms A - so cute, with excellent knowledge of Thai culture and history.
