My rating today is based on my current situation with elite appliances, we recently purchased a complete Viking appliance set. Long story short we installed our oven and tried to turn it on and we noticed that the light wouldn't turn off so we contacted Elite appliances they sent out a technician who came out and diagnosed the oven as being a faulty oven and recommended replacing the oven because of all the faults. I have been going back and forth with them to get issue resolved but it has became a nightmare no one wants to own up and they are wanting to replace the whole door on an oven I spent over 4K on and I don't think it's right since it is a brand new oven I think it should be replaced completely so far service has been terrible no one calling me to give me any answers having to continuously call my self to find out what going on will update the review as things change. read more

Phone order. I have tried many many many (20+) in the country including few in canada to find a part. Elite comes through with flying colors. I should have bought everything with these guys. Placing an order was a very pleasant experience. I had tried to order the same item from several vendors, none of them able to deliver in spite of their on line ordering indicating the item was stocked and my credit card being charged. In this case, John Miller went the extra mile for me to ensure that Elite Appliance's distributor would be able to source the item. He even called me back as promised, which is not all that common these days. I give them 4 stars for that alone! :-) The truth of how good they really are as a company will come when my order arrives. However, so far, I have been pleasantly surprised. read more

It looks like they have a nice selection but unfortunately the employee couldn't be torn away from something on his computer. We were the only customers in the building and it was 5-10 minutes before we found him at the desk while walking around. He asked only half looking up if we had any questions. While there two other sets of customers came and went and he never left the desk for them either. If there is any question about lack of sales I hope the owners won't waste any money on some marketing analysis because the answer is simple. read more

I was looking for a 48" induction range (AGA Elise) and during the conversation it came up that I also was looking for a dishwasher. Well he mentioned that they had a sale that just ended where when u bought an AGA range, a dishwasher came w it. Sensing I was feeling deflated, Brian took the initiative and inquired w the bosses about extending the sale since I was already making a large ticket purchase. 10 minutes later he calls back and BOOM, they approved it and BLAM! Purchased a high end fridge from Elite. Have had problems ever since. 8 months to get the freezer to stop producing frost....can you say air leak....been through 2 different service companies with wrong parts brought. wrong parts ordered, delay after delay after delay. NOW............ice has melted in the ice maker and we have water all over the floor. Freezer is not working and we've lost everything ! The service company just hung up on us!!! I ordered an ADA under the counter refrigerator and was told I would receive it in 3 days. Three weeks later, I received the refrigerator. Poor customer service, communication and follow up. i have been shopping for appliances to remodel my kitchen for the last month and none of the local stores carried everything I was looking for. I was checking prices on a couple of items online and ran across Elite Appliance. The prices were as good or better than if I had driven around to 4 stores (in 3 surrounding counties) that were having sales locally. Not one local store carries the selection of brands that Elite has. I ordered on the phone with Eddy and got great service and even better prices. Will definitely order from again. read more

This review is only for the showroom, I don't have the knowledge and cannot comment on Elite Appliance online ordering. I really wanted to love this place. I'm just getting into real estate investing and the thought of a go-to place for appliances that I can see and feel in person would be great. Most of my home fixtures I had been ordering online, after my experience with Elite, unfortunately my appliances will now be bought online as well. I walked into Elite Appliance after lots of online research so I already had a good idea of what I wanted, and just wanted to see and touch the items. When approached by Eddie, the salesman, I asked him if I could use a 36" cooktop with a 30" hood. He gave me some great advice that I ended up taking, and went with the 30" cooktop. I asked to see the cooktop and was escorted to Eddie's desk where he brought up the cooktops on the Elite Appliance website. I asked if he had any in stock and he did, but it was boxed back in the warehouse, not on display. So we moved on to the hood. Again, the one I wanted wasn't in stock, and we browsed the options online. Although I had expressed a desire to keep a continuous brand throughout my kitchen, Eddie showed me all the hoods that were the right dimensions, in every brand, on his computer. I made my hood selection that day, a Tuesday, and Eddie assured me the hood would be in on Friday and I could come pick it up. We went through the process again with a combination wall oven/microwave, sitting at Eddie's desk going through features on not only the Elite Appliance website, but since Eddie wasn't clear on all features, we went through the website of Kitchen Aid as well, even though I wanted Bosch appliances. To add to this annoyance, I had to listen to the rest of the employees of Elite standing around telling inside jokes and complaining about people I didn't know while watching someone on a computer. It felt like I was at used car lot. Friday came, and I went back to the showroom, and my hood was not delivered. I needed the hood that day since I had contractors scheduled, so I switched to another inferior hood that was in stock. I then placed the order for my oven Eddie promised the oven would arrive the following Wednesday. I also ordered a dishwasher that was last year's model, and in a carton on the showroom floor. I didn't think the dishwasher and oven would fit in my SUV so I asked about delivery. The website states delivery is free, so I was surprised when Eddie quoted me $50. Unfortunate since I had already spent about $5,000 with Elite now, but I had no choice. Wednesday came and went, and not only did I have no oven, but I haven't heard anything from Eddie either. I wait until Thursday afternoon to reach out to Eddie, and he tells me it is supposed to come the next day. It didn't, and another weekend without being able to complete the kitchen, and without the oven and dishwasher passes. I wait another week without hearing anything from my salesman I finally call and ask that Eddie calls the manufacturer to find out why the appliances aren't delivered. If they are backordered and it's going to be a month, I just want to know so I can schedule accordingly. When Eddie calls me back, he tells me yet again the delivery date is the next day, says this is from the manufacturer, but doesn't know why it's taken 3 weeks when he thought it would be 3 days. At this point I'm not sure if Eddie is lying to me, or if the manufacturer is lying to him. Either way I no longer want to work with a showroom that doesn't have a good enough relationship with the manufacturer for honesty, or willingly lies to me. Of course my oven never came, so I eventually cancelled my oven order and just went to pick up my dishwasher. When I asked for my refund, Eddie again says that it's coming the next day. That makes a total of 5 different delivery dates, none of them accurate. I ended up finding the same oven online and it shipped to me the next day. The best part is I didn't have to pay tax, or shipping and the oven actually came. I was willing to pay the extra $400 through Elite because I thought I would get my product faster, and with better service, but I was wrong. Pros: -Salesman gave me good advice about not exceeding the width of my hood with my cooktop. -Refunds/Returns are processed quickly and painlessly. Cons: -Salesman never kept me in the loop, and I suspect lied multiple times to keep a sale. -Nothing I wanted to order was available for me to see in person. -Delivery had a fee associated with it. -My salesman was dishonest, and had limited knowledge. This is why brick and mortar stores are disappearing, there is no reason anyone should ever use Elite Appliance. Showroom offers no value, and you end up spending much more time and money than just ordering from a reputable online retailer. read more

Update.. 1. Microwave - fixed by Electrolux. 2. Refrigerator - recall had been fixed before it was sold to me. The papers just hadn't been filed with Viking(which is why Viking told me the refrigerator was still in need of repair). 3. Most importantly, the Capital range... After my review, I received a call from an Elite Appliance manager. He wanted to work with me to see what could be done to resolve the situation. He stated he was working on getting a new range, but then came back and said that Capital would not allow Elite to do so without performing 3 service calls. My huge point was I wasn't concerned with what Capital stated, I needed Elite to provide the range I paid for(propane) and they could deal with Capital themselves. I shouldn't be involved. I finally received a call from a different Elite employee informing me that my new range was in and they wanted to schedule delivery. I have no idea what changed, but the situation is resolved. Brent, the operations manager, spoke with me and apologized profusely for everything I've had to go through. He gave me his personal cell number in case I need anything else. My new range was installed by two great guys on Friday. It's the correct propane model. I can finally stop worrying about this situation and put it to rest. Time for the Chef to get to cooking! read more

Purchased a Viking backguard for my stove on 6/4/2014. The customer service was very kind and physically checked if the item was in stock since a few other place I had looked at did not have them in stock immediately. They also price matched, no problem. Item was promptly shipped. When it arrived; there were scratches and an indentation on it. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but it was a gift and for an expensive piece like this just for a backguard; you would want it to be free of dents, etc. I contacted Elite Appliance and Kevy Cook assisted with the entire issue. I did not even have to really say anything. To my surprise, Kevy had a new one sent out immediately which came in and was perfect (I sent the damaged one back). I honestly did not even know they were going to do that without me mentioning it. The communication was very good as well. I am very pleased with this transaction and it is by far the best customer experience I have had in a very long time period. I ordered a Miele steam oven in Feb. The sales promised it would arrive in 2 weeks, it arrived 4 weeks later after I called them few times for status. And they shipped a $1500 cheaper model with the model number very similar to the one I ordered. Fortunately I double checked and rejected the order. Called Elite again and Jeremy said they would ship out the correct model on that day, I asked for tracking number but he couldn't provide. He promised to email me the number but didn't happen. Called again the next day and he said he would call me back in 20 mins, didn't happen. Called a day after and he kind of admitted they don't have the model in stock. I didn't want to hear their lies anymore and asked for refund. Don't trust their sales! read more

Sales people are friendly but don't seem to know much. Price was right but don't expect much service after you place your order. Purchased $15,000 worth of kitchen appliances. The salesperson was contacting me every few days until we made the purchase. Was told 4-6 week lead time. We are now at week 8 and today is our supposed delivery date but nothing has been scheduled. We have had a complete kitchen with no appliances for 2 weeks. In addition, I emailed our sales person the day after our order was placed to request specs for the cabinet maker. I never received a response and ended up having to find the specs on my own. Basically, I never heard from my sales rep or sales team after our purchase. read more

Pretty good experience here, large showroom with all types of appliances. We came on a Sunday and there was only one salesperson working. Our timing wasn't good because he was helping another couple select a new range, which took quite some time. I'm a very patient person but after 30 minutes I was ready to leave except that we really needed a new range hood. We stuck it out and Brian answered all our questions and was very helpful! They just need one more employee on Sundays. read more
