Elite has been a great experience for us. I actually located the appliance online and since it was located in Dallas I just dropped in to look it over. I was greeted immediately, shown the exact product quickly, and it was as represented on the web ad. The sales transaction was efficient and painless. Delivery was set-up during the sale and the unit was delivered as promised with no issues. A day or two after the unit was running I had some concern about a noise when the compressor cycled on and off so I unplugged the unit to prevent any damage. I called Elite the next morning and they set-up a tech to come out the following day. Turned out to be my fault for placing a bottle to close to an internal fan. They looked the unit over and gave us the thumbs up and the wine cellars been running flawlessly since. Overall a great experience from start to finish. read more

Bruce was incredible to work with! He was very patient and listened to our needs completely, since we have a home that was built in 1995, we found out some of appliances were out of date. However, he found them for us. On another note, we gave Home Depot his card telling them that he was wonderful to work with. What a terrific buying experience! I am in Delray Beach FL and was having severe sticker shock trying to replace my 36" Professional SS built in refrigerator. Ordered house full of appliances. All LP vs natural gas. Dryer came without proper adapter. Called, couldn't get through to customer service. Eventually called back. Wanted to charge me $18 for the $8 part with $10 shipping. Total order for appliances was $9k. Should have thrown this in during order, but more importantly should have got it right to begin. Then trying to get it resolved resulted in more waste of time than the part. Was suppose to get a call back after the weekend with the ok that they were going to ship the part for free. No call back and not worth calling again given that no one answered customer service the 10 times I called. read more

Not only were they the only high end appliance store open on Labor day they had a friendly staff that welcomed me via phone and onsite when I arrived. I had a chance to meet the owner and you can tell he is very proud of his company and approach! I agree whole-hardheartedly. I worked with Nick Favara to pick out and purchase a cook-top and vented hood for my new home. He was able to help me realize my vision and was very thoughtful in his approach. I have ordered appliance with Elite on two occasions. On the first, I went into the store on a Saturday and was told the refrigerator I purchased was in stock and would be delivered the following Tuesday (3 days later). I was surprised to learn on Tuesday morning when I called them (after not hearing anything from them regarding the delivery time) that the refrigerator was actually backordered and would not be in stock for three weeks! I was very disappointed in being given misinformation when I was purchasing. I decided to give them another try, and purchased two more appliances from them. The items were ordered, and both arrived as promised within a week. I received an email from Elite notifiying my appliances had arrived and were ready for delivery. I never heard from anyone regarding delivery, so I called them. They were very indifferent to me on the phone, and said that they would have the delivery/installer contact me. He never did. I finally had to call the installer and tell him the appliances were in stock and could he please deliver and install. When the deliver/install occurred two days later, I discovered that the dishwasher sent to be installed was the wrong model. The installer called the warehouse to find the correct model I had ordered, and said I would be contacted by Elite the next day to have it delivered and installed. The next day, I never received a call from ANYONE at Elite by noon. I called them, and the person at the warehouse said he would notify the installer, and have him pick it up. Again, by 4:45 pm, I had heard nothing from Elite on if or when this would occur. Finally, I called again, and was told that they would try to have it done the next day. The saga continues... The next day, I had heard nothing from Elite again. I had to call them to find out that the installer would be arriving by 10am, as they had to go to Lowe's to buy the correct tools to install the appliance. VERY disappointing. Their customer service is nonexistent. I've yet to be contacted by them to see if the correct appliance was delivered. Total spent with Elite so far is $5,000. I can assure you that the remaining appliances will be purchased elsewhere. read more

Elite Appliance RULES! These guys know their stuff, are very helpful and consultative. The showroom is awesome and has all the "elite" brands for you to touch and see how it looks. If you're wondering what's the difference in functionality and price between Bertazzoni, Monogram, Viking, Miele or Aga and if it's worth paying more for one over the other, just ask Eddy McBroom. They don't push product, but instead want to understand what's important to you, your use cases, where you'll be installing it, etc. THEN they'll recommend a few choices based on what's important to you, cost for each and explain the differences between the brands and models. And if you've ever paid a bunch of money for something high end and find out a couple of moths later that it doesn't do something in the model you bought.... don't worry cause these guys also tell you what you're NOT getting that may be available in a different brand or the next model higher. They don't push "incremental revenue generating" stuff that's good for them and not in your best interest to go along with the appliance you're buying (i.e. big box appliance / electronic store that tells you it's a "best practice" to use their HDMI cable that costs $50 dollars and can be purchased for $10 elsewhere). read more

Our sales person, Marvin, told us he had a Viking range at another location that he could sell us. We purchased the item, and he charged our credit card. When it arrived at the Dallas location, we went by to look at it before delivery. Thank goodness we did! The Viking range turned out to be a 2012 model, a floor model. Marvin never told us it would be a floor model. Additionally, the range was rusty and looked used. Marvin insisted that he would replace the top and it would look brand new. Unfortunately, he had already run our credit card. We wrote several emails, asking that he cancel the order. I then called the show room, and Eddy answered. Eddy claimed he could not cancel the order. Marvin, as usual, was not available. According to Eddy, only the manager Cody could cancel the order, and he was off. Eddy then hung up on me. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Luckily, I took photos of the awful looking range! I will NEVER go back to this store and I encourage you to avoid it too!! read more

I would not recommend Elite Appliance if you are looking for service along with your purchase. Once you buy, they are done. We bought 6 high-end appliances from them and only 2 of them are actually functional. What's really bad is that we could not get any assistance with proof of warranty or help with getting an authorized service company to fix these appliances. We had them professionally installed the first week of April and as of today ( July 13), we are still waiting on assistance through the warranty to get them repaired. Elite Appliance is aware of the issue and couldn't care any less. They are happy to sell you whatever you would like, but don't expect any assistance if your products are not functional. Our salesman ( Jeff Evans) wouldn't even return my phone calls to advise us on what to do. read more

Was promised my refrigerator would be ready to ship in 3-6 weeks. 6 weeks came and went with no email or call w update as to why. I tried numerous times to call Bob (sold it to me) and left message after message on his machine. He NEVER called me back. He was so efficient and called back immediately before the purchase! It took three months before it was delivered. I only received a call from management after sending nasty email asking what was going on. Then when it was delivered the company assured me they would deliver to second story floor no problem as on my paperwork it stated " deliver to room of installment". The two men laughed upon arrival and said no way. I had to pay an additional $200 to my installer (also only 2 men) who got it to kitchen...no problem! I have not had a call back from Elite and most likely will not. BEWARE!!! read more

Buyers Beware! Purchased Bertazzoni induction cooktop that didn't work. Left voice and text messages for Jeremy at Elite who never returned my call. I contacted Bertazzoni who sent tech that said installed correctly based on instructions and to go back to Elite. Since no response from Elite, I spoke with sr Bertazzoni technical support who said missing part because it's a newer model which they did mail to me. Still waiting for Bertazzoni local tech to install. I'm going on 2 weeks without stove. This is after waiting 1 month after paying, for appliances to be delivered. Elite never communicated equipment delay and was 5 hours late delivering appliances, only after I called. To date I still have not heard from anyone at Elite. Seems that they want nothing to do with me after I paid. Will never deal with Elite Appliance again. If you have an issue with purchase, know you are on your own!!! read more

I found Elite online and called to confirm the unit I wanted was available. I wanted the new LG 42" built in refrigerator. John Miller in sales helped me with an Open Box item at a great price, he explained it was returned unopened but LG required them to open it and confirm it was in good shape. He also said it was never used or plugged in. It had to be shipped to me, so I was already thinking I was going to get a dinged up unit. Today it was delivered and installed and I am amazed it was exactly like John Miller said it would be. I love it, it's clean, never used, no dents or scratches, and it is working fine. Two weeks ago I wrote a review of Elite Appliance because 5 out of 6 of the appliances I purchased from Elite failed and required numerous repairs and some replacements. One of the appliances caused an electrical fire in my kitchen. Speculation from the various repairmen was that the appliances were possibly used despite the fact that I paid for new. Based on the serial numbers, we knew that they were quite old. Over a six month period, I made 3 phone calls to Elite pleading for help. My calls were never returned. After approximately 125 hours of my time working with the manufacturers to honor the warranty and to manage multiple servicing appointments and replacements, and after writing my yelp review, Elite offered (in writing and verbally) to issue me a small refund as a goodwill gesture. I really appreciated that, however, the next day I received a call stating that I would not receive a refund, but that someone was coming to take away my appliances. I explained that that was not a benefit to me since my appliances are finally working and this would just result in me having to buy new ones and pay to have them installed, taking up more of my time and money. Nevertheless, they stated this was what they would do. 2-1/2 more hours of my time wasted by Elite. Based on my experience and the other reviews that I read, you are probably ok to buy just one appliance from the retail store, however, it is highly advisable not to buy any more. My experience is that this company sells defective products, doesn't stand by the customer and has horrific customer service. My guess is that a response to this review will be made by Elite, as they did last time. My guess is that it will sound positive, but will not be reality, as the last offer was revoked. My advice: Elite buyer beware! read more
