I recently took a photo of my grandson on a thumb drive to Elite Art and Framing in Las Vegas for printing on 10 x 13 canvas and an 8 x 10 print. The results were phenomenal. They cleaned up the photo and the results were of fashion photography quality. I was very impressed and happy with the results. read more

I had a gorgeous painting that needed framed for our dining room. Tami was so kind and friendly. She knew immediately what I was looking for and it didn't take long to find the perfect frame for it. Since the painting is pretty big (7x4ft) I knew it would come at a cost. However, Tami worked with me and the price was so reasonable and much lower than any of the quotes I got from other frame shops. Not only that, I had such a delightful interaction with Tami that it made me feel so happy when I left! You know that feeling in your heart when you feel so good about a purchase. I knew my painting was in good hands. The service she provided on top of the beautiful frame was worth every penny. This was the complete opposite experience I had recently in another framing shop in Vegas to get a quote which left a bad taste in my mouth. The rep was really pushy when I left and asked what the problem was, and why I needed to visit another shop. Well, I'm really glad I trusted my gut and went to Elite Art & Framing! This is the best one in Las Vegas in reference to the quality frame work, Price, attitude.... I have a beautiful piece of art that hung on the wall for 20+ years. Somehow it fell and one side of frame was falling apart. I can't believe David can repair it so skillfully. He was so nice to deliver that humongous piece with a minimal fee. In addition he hung it up on the wall for me. You can't find any shop here so decent and polite. Ask for David. You won't be disappointed. read more

Amazing work and amazing people! My 2 projects look so nice I want to frame them, but they're already framed, that's how wonderful of a job they did. I already brought them another project to complete. The frame is put together in a way that the guys had never seen before, so they let me know that they will have to take it apart and reattach the wood that holds the frame together. I ordered a frame from Amazon(never again) & it was the wrong size as it clearly stated the dimensions I wanted. I found this Amazing company & they clearly fixed the problem. David was so helpful & added a custom white board to fit the frame, cut & fit it perfectly & added a piece of glass instead of plexi & put 2 firm wire mounts on the back so I could hang it vertically & horizontally. I was super pleased with the price & the inside of their framing store too. They have amazing prints, great pricing & beautiful framework. This will now be my go-to in Las Vegas. Elite Art & Framing is the best! I had a canvas wrapped 47x70". It was a pretty big piece. The service was great. The job was very well done. Dave the owner is super nice and was extremely helpful. The prices are good and he had my painting back to me within a week. He applied the hanging wire and provided me with hooks and instructions on how to use them. He offered future delivery services and carried my art to my car for me. I'll definitely be going back and utilizing them for any future art and framing needs! read more

This is the first picture I've ever had custom framed. I didn't have a clue as to what I needed what color mat etc. David made suggestions and recommended colors and when I went to pick it up it was beyond what I imagined it would look like. It was ready when he said it would be ready and when I went to pick it up it wouldn't fit in my car. David even offered to deliver it which I took him up on. He also hung the picture. Holy Cow!! I cannot believe the service and workmanship this company has to offer!! I first spoke with Tammy on the phone who was very friendly and compassionate about my issue! She sent Dave, the owner, to pick up my painting which was damaged from it falling on the floor. He assured me he could make it look like new again. Said it was "an easy fix!" I paid over $4000 for this painting! In about a week, he was ready to return it. This time, I had him mount the painting! He did a great job. He also mounted two bathroom mirrors. What a disappointing experience, based on seeing what other people's experiences have been…read more We took a vintage mid century art deco clock in for framing, and spoke directly with the owner. We met with him for a long period, as we were very specific about what we wanted, which was actually a very simple design, but didn't want the clock itself altered and for it to be operable. He told me they'd need 6 weeks for the job, and that he'd be out of town, but his daughter would handle it. We left a substantial deposit for half the cost. Cut to about 6 weeks later and my wife goes to the shop when we're told it's ready. Her dealings were with the daughter, whom we hadn't met before. The frame and matting itself are very nice. However, the clock within is, first, not centered. The daughter denies this, insisting it's centered, until my wife insists she check using a tape measure, and it's off center by nearly two inches (the clock is only 13" diameter). Whoops. Second, the clock, which is circular/sundial shaped, does not have numerals, but markers. It is not lined up with the 12 o'clock position at the top. The daughter argues that it can't be hung with the 12 o'clock position straight up, because it is off-center of the hanging hole on the back of the clock. Now understand, these are things we discussed with her father, extensively. It's an important piece to us, and we told him price was not a problem, we just wanted it done correctly, securely and to look nice. We discussed using clear acrylic braces from behind to support the clock, or something similar, as we understand a circular piece is difficult. We thought he understood. His daughter clearly didn't, and she stated it couldn't be done, and that the hole on the back of the clock intended for hanging was off center for the clock's 12 o'clock position (no, it's not). However, she told my wife she would fix it to our satisfaction. We chose to give her a second chance. A couple weeks pass and we get the call that it's done. My wife returns to the shop to find that all that was done is that it has now been centered, nothing else, which the daughter admits. She states that securing the clock with 12 o'clock in the, well, 12 o'clock position is impossible. My wife asks for the refund of our deposit and the return of the clock. The daughter argues that substantial time and resources were used, to which my wife counters that she did not complete the work we asked for to our satisfaction. Ultimately, the refund is given. The daughter says it will be a week before she can get the clock removed. It didn't take a week, she called the very next day saying it was ready to pick up. When my wife arrived to pick up the clock, the daughter wouldn't even stand up from the desk, pointing to the clock nearby and saying "it's there". For some reason, this lady, the daughter, decided this was personal, and as such, she treated my wife very poorly. Her customer service was horrendous, her attitude was very nasty and she earned every line of this poor review. Our experience with people involved with framing art is that they have some degree of creativity and enjoy the challenge of something they haven't experienced before. That wasn't what we found here. When they told us something couldn't be done, we ourselves came up with several possible solutions, which were acknowledged but never acted upon. So we will look elsewhere, confident in other artistic minds in Las Vegas.

It's been locally owned since the 1950's and their inventory and services respond to us locals which is really a switch from nationally or franchised owned companies/businesses. You actually are offered what you want and need. They also have an online catalog, art classes, and picture and photo framing and more. My parents really appreciated them and made good use of their supplies since they moved to Las Vegas in the 1970's. I have known the owner since I started needing architectural and art supplies, while attending UNLV in the 2000's. They have been a constant and reliable resource for me and anyone I direct to them. Support this great business as it gives back in spades.

Not only was it a few dollars cheaper than other locations in town, but how convenient to get my mail as I am flying in or out of town, as I often do? I was worried about the parking, but you get 15 minutes for free in Short Term Parking, which is enough time to park, walk in, get your mail, and walk out. There's even enough time to get any packages if there's no line. The downside? The location has 1 employee, and so the hours the post office keeps are shorter than other post offices. So when they've got your package, you have to catch them. They're supposed to be open until 4pm daily, but I showed up at 3pm one day to find the place completely shuttered. Hoping that was an isolated incident, as I love stopping by the airport any other time to grab my mail.

I was visiting Las Vegas from Hawaii and on our way back we were stopped by security because we had cookie butter and pesto in our carry on luggage. I had no idea about the restrictions of food in a paste substance, and I dont think I had even seen a sign regarding pastes in particular (although I could have just missed it). Upset by the way security started to treat me (a whole other review for the airport itself); but basically they kept insisting that I could just throw the items away or surrender the items to them. And if youre from Hawaii, you KNOW that you dont throw away Trader Joe's, ESPECIALLY cookie butter (that I had JUST bought that day, mind you). So I left the security check point a little aggravated. Now the airport is a bit big, but the post office is in the Terminal 1 I believe, on the second or third floor nearby the Security check for gates C and D. It was a quick 4 minute walk and luckily there was only one other customer there. There was one attendant there, but he greeted me very friendly and actually turned my mood around. He took one look at what I was carrying and said "Uh oh..did you find out about something upsetting?" :) That already started to make me smile. I went on to vent about the whole thing and he said "Ugh! No WAY can you throw out Trader Joes! I bet they just wanted to eat it." His jokes just made me laugh and my mood really started to change. He went above and beyond for me and turned the whole situation around. I was/am really grateful for what he did; anyone could have simply packed up my things and shipped it off. But he took the time to converse with me and actually made me feel better. I got my package in, with everything perfectly fine, two days later. I wish I could remember his name, but thank you to whoever you are. You really made my last memory of this Vegas trip, better. ^___^

For the past 20 years I used a superb framer in San Diego named Duk Won of FrameArt and I did not think I would find someone to replace him here in Las Vegas. But he retired and I needed to frame some work. After examining many places in Las Vegas I selected David with Elite Art and Framing. I brought 6 pieces to him. The work done by Tammy was simply superb! I could not have imagined anything better even from my previous professional, Duk Won whose work was incomparable. I am new to the town and need to have my cross stitch frame. I searched on line and find Elite Art & Framing with good rating and I thought I would give it a try. My husband and I met David and pretty much David helps to pick out everything from the mats, frame, and color coordinated. So I had gotten Vegas Golden Knight Hockey pucks with the teams that they played against which were the penguins, devils, and blues as well as some pucks celebrating their playoff run. The team pucks were celebrating my girlfriend and I first games going together. I recently picked up an order I left with David at Elite. One was an extremely fragile temple rubbing from Thailand that had some damage. David took the time to help me select the perfect mats, frames, and glass for my projects. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my artwork at Hobby Lobby/Michaels.
