I signed a contract to deliver my Jeep Gladiator from Alabama to Grass Valley, CA. The day before the pickup Kevin (the owner) called me and extorted another $100.00 from me. At that time I had no choice. The rig was supposed to be delivered on the 26th. It got delivered on the 27th at 8:20 PM. The driver would not come to my house. I met him on a 2-lane highway at night! When trying to get the rig off the hauler it would not start. It was impossible to communicate with the driver. He only spoke Russian. The company told me it was MY PROBLEM! I had to figure out how to get it off the hauler or they were going to charge me $1000 a day! They threatened to haul my rig to the dump and unload with a fork lift. They tool a deposit of $200 initially, to ship two cars. The man on the other side of the phone, whose name is Anthony, gave us a quote of $,2050 minus the deposit, leaving a balance of $1,850, and told us they'd look for a truck to ship our cars. When they called us to book the date, the price jumped by $450! They said it was due to the drivers wanting more money. So, they wanted $1,250 per car. After calling around, we found that the new price they quoted was actually near what other people were quoting, and so we decided to give them anotheshot, despite the bad reviews we saw. The price was now $2,500 for both cars, minus the deposit of $200, leaving us a balance of $2,300 upon delivery. We ended up needing to ship another car, so he quoted us again at an extra $1,200 for the extra car. We told him that was acceptable, so he sent us another contract after taking another $100 for the new car. By my math, we would now owe $3,700 in total, minus the $300 deposit, leaving us a total of $3,400 at delivery. He sends me a new contract, stating that we would owe a total of $4,050, owing $3,750 at delivery! I called back, pretty upset, telling him that the price was wrong, at which point he decided to tel me that I misunderstood what he said, and the price was agreed upon. I wait a couple days, but he never gets me the transaction number. Then he says he's sorry that I misunderstood, and that he would still like to do business with me. I tell him I just want my money. A few days later, I get a call from a driver that he was supposed to pick up my cars, something I never cleared with EAS. I ask the guy why he did that, and got a lame excuse, and a sorry. More days go by with no transacrion number or refund, so I text him again, asking for my refund. Nothing. I tell him I will involve my bank, and he responds within two minutes, saying, again, I will receive a refund in 3 to 5 business days. I ask if it will be for the full $300, and he responds with a "Yes." Today, he calls me and tells me that they can only do 1/2 of my deposit, due to "Line #7" of my contract, which states that they can get a cancelation fee of $200 if I cancel prior to 7 days of the agreement. As there was no official dateto pick up my car, but one attempt, this should not apply. So, I've called my bank and opened a dispute. We'll see what happens. During the week also, one or two ACTUAL DRIVERS contacted me. One of them told me that the price to transport my vehicle was going to be $600. and that they could see online that Elite was offering my "job" at $450. with no takers, which meant that even Elite knew that there was no way the job was going to happen for $350. He did transport my vehicle safely, and he did keep it safe over the weekend to deliver to the incoming shop when it opened Monday morning. The moral of this story: when you engage any of these sites to get "bids" for auto transport, you will end up with a broker who will then job the task out. If you are under the gun and have any sort of deadline for pick up, more than likely you will end up paying top dollar on the day of the tow after being led to believe that you will pay less. All of these brokers that contact you are the same, all are bidding drivers for your job. Pick one broker, and stick with him, engaging more than one will not help - you'll just be working against yourself. If you are contacted by an actual driver during this process, you may be able to negotiate directly with him. If you are in a hurry, or have a deadline like I did, you will be taken advantage of. If the route you need transported is not overly busy (in my case, the pick up location was across the street from a Tesla warehouse, and Tesla was apparently buying up all the open transport spots, leaving very little room for other cars that needed to be picked up from that location) and you don't care when your car is picked up, you'll end up with a better deal. read more

We paid for shipping however they never showed up on the day promised. They actually cancelled the pick up because their driver wasn't properly insured. They gave me a run around of excuses. Upon delivery and since my mom had no idea, Eduardo placed the Really large red bow on the vehicle and was waiting with a smile when my mom turned the corner to staging point. Omg what a Surprise. The only downside is that the pick and drop off times were delayed. I booked a delivery online June 7 for an auto pickup that needed to occur June 12. I paid a $100 deposit. I called twice during the week to confirm that they had the contact information of the car's previous owner, and that the pickup would occur June 12, and that the previous owner would be contacted the day before pickup. The 12th came and went, and the previous owner was never called, the car never picked up. I called Sam, my "salesman", numerous times, but he would just hang up on me and text me. They could not provide an estimated pickup date, and they could not ensure me the car would be picked up any time the next week. As the car's previous owner was in the middle of moving to another state, that simply did not work. I requested they cancel my service and refund my $100 deposit. They refunded my deposit the following day, and then they charged a $200 cancellation fee. So the "cancellation fee" is twice as much as the deposit? He told me that he would be able to set that up for me and that he would be able to do this by a certain date. Since I bought this car on Ebay i had pick and the deliver the payment for the car by a certain date. So I told this guy that if he could not find a tow the day before the due date to cancel the tow request and that I would go pick it up myself. This guy said that Yes he would do that but i should still sign the documents to make the request official, so i did. He called me two days after I had already bought the car home, saying he had found a tow. I reminded him that we had agreed that if he had not found a tow by the time I needed it, that he would cancel the request with no charge. Long story short he charged me administrative fees for the request.
