I moved from Philadelphia to Colorado Springs about two months ago and had a really great experience with Pick and Pack Moving. They moved both my household stuff and my car, and gave me a bundle price for everything. That actually saved me quite a bit of money compared to what I would have paid if I had hired a separate company to transport the car. What I liked most is that this is a smaller moving company, not a huge franchise or a broker. I knew who I was dealing with and felt very comfortable working with them. The movers were professional, careful and easy to deal with. Another big plus for me was that my stuff wasn't handed off to some unknown subcontractor along the way. It was delivered by the same company, with their own truck and movers. Delivery time was reasonable and pretty much exactly what they told me to expect. It's been two months now and I've finally opened all the boxes. Everything made it to Colorado in good shape, and I haven't found anything damaged or missing. In a word, they're AMAZING! And I had a nightmare move--booked on the day of, had TONS of stuff including heavy wood antiques, absolutely nothing was pre-packed, the place was a disaster, there were huge rainstorms, and a hyperactive kindergartener would not sit still.
